Harley really needs to release a naked hooligan bike to compete with the Indian FTR. Not everybody wants a $40,000 cruiser. They have had the Bronx for several years but refuse to release it for sale.
What are the rules, it seems Harley run 1250s, Indian 1200s, but European twins only 900....there's an electric bike too, the balancing rules seem odd.
If it weren’t for bending the rules, HD would never win. It’s been this way forever.

I dont think they are bending the rules at all. More likely these balancing enchancement / restrictions favor Indian and Harley, precisely within the rules. Would bne nice to know what these restrictions are for each bike. I think the KTM 890 had to have extra weight added last season.

@@blipco5I think they should ... Bring them on .. I want to see a Honda Gold Wing that can do 185 mph ... The top speed of a BMW bagger is around 140 mph and a Honda goldwing around 135 mph ... That's both about 59 mph too slow to pass kyle Wyman of team Harley or Tyler O'Hare of team Indian .. opening season of King of Baggers starts at Daytona Bike week .. Kyle and Tyler were both trading paint at 185 mph on the high bank at the Daytona International Speedway .... Rules says you have to use the stock frames ... No gussets or modes of any kind ... But you can do about anything you want to the engine to increase the horsepower ... Vance & Hines have their bagged turbocharged... Someone else has theirs supercharged ... Team Harley uses a screamin' eagle 131 cu.in. (2,150 cc) tuned to 185 HP naturally aspirated EFI .
Donniebaker- You will see several. But that six cylinder BMW may go faster.
I’d like to see Super Hooligans and King of the Baggers packaged into a one day, watchable event, similar to what American Flat Track does. As it is, with it being over three days, you watch a little here and there over the three day span. It’s not very viewer friendly. Either way, both series need to be at every round. I love watching the Harley-Davidson/Indian Motorcycle rivalry.
Harley Davidson...make a street going version of these bikes. Call it the Sportster Super Hooligan. Youre welcome in advanced!

@birddogz545 sad but true. I like the look of the bronx, but i also like these super hooligans. Reminds me of the xr1200 with even more power!
