- I take my 2022 KTM 890 Duke R (MotoAmerica/ Super Hooligans spec bike) out to The Ridge Motorsports park to race the Formula 600 class against some local pro MotoAmerica racers! Race 2 provided for an epic battle with a pass for a lead and a finish you’ll just have to watch at the end!

Yes Sir 🫡
Can't wait!! -- looking forward to seeing you rip the Ridge this MotoAmerica weekend !
That first corner looks fun
Awesome run! That pass was sweet too.
Your intro graphic was very "Kandinsky"
👌👍
dragging his elbow 😳
That ninja is howling 😮
Very good job, you know how to ride my bike, I learn a lot seeing such skilled rider!
That was a dope race Andy. I wish i got the 890 instead of the 790!!
dang!. the 890r is such a tool. place it anywhere to attack. outside ,inside wherever. its such a tool. only if there was a few more hps to be extracted from the engine. to not let those 4s pull away
Brilliant mate
Damm that was tight ..
SkinnyNinjaman ..Great race
Why didn't you get the correct off the last CORNER
I think miss shift took his first place. Also would open up the exhaust and make the bike a little bit more aero for the high speeds
His bike just had to much hp
Incredible race- you’re an animal on the brakes
Great stuff
You wouldn't recall the old "Suntrust" racing series..long defunct ... had a collection of different bikes.. 848 IIRC, PS1000, KTM etc.. I recall Chris Filmore who was, still is a KTM sponsored racer.. Supermoto last I heard.. on a KTM Duke just blow by Doug Polen on his Ducati 848 .. I mean he sucked Polens face out of his helmet.. only non faired bike on the grid IIRC Fun video to watch !!
There was a little wabble second to the last turn. I thought he hit you. That must be where he was able to gain enough on you to pass just before the line. I was bouncing up and down in my seat!
Need those titanium rods and goodies from the RC8 in that twin and turnt up to 13k redline. Damned high spun 4 cylinder.
Hey .........Awesome video....!!!!!!!!!...... at 16:30 I yelled on the couch and my cats jumped, HA!!
Just saw your P2 ride @ Laguna - I'll bet McWilliams was thinking Who the F is this Guy!!😉🤍👍
Oh Man, what a great race! ... on a naked against a sportsbike... keep it up !
Do you run with standard suspension travel?
I have WP Apex Pro components on my bike. So the fork cartridges and a totally different shock. Not sure if the travel is more or less than stock
@@andydibrino ok. That was some serious racing. Fun to see a bike with suspension longer than usually goes through corners that well. Lovely track!
I have the 2020 model but really dig the new colours.
Awesome race man! It was so much fun to watch. Way to intimidate with the KTM in the corners.😂🎉❤
What a great race! Takes me back to my racing days for sure. You, sir, are an absolute animal on the brakes - props! That 600 sure gets off the corner pretty well …
That Dook is great on the brakes...
Sounds like a tractor compared to an indy car lol ....just saying those 600cc 4 cylinder motors HOWL!
Yeah that 600 just kills it on straights.....
Is this stock engine?
Yes
Which rearsets did you go with?
How the 890 any probs at all with it ?
David is going places, kids fast, always been
真tm nb
Do you use Motul oil?
Yes- 10w50 300V
@@andydibrino Great, than I'm not the onlyone who use Motul instead of Motorex in a KTM. Thank you!!!
Mate that was absolutely great on-bike footage. Awesome racing, i was hoping you'd get the win, the 890 sounds great too. Best of luck next time and in the Super Hooligans as well.
So cool to watch these bikes being thrashed round a racetrack.
Do you feel a linkage instead of a directly mounted rear shock would make much of a difference?
For the big brother bike KTM did make the switch. But that's also a lot heavier of course.
Dude what a race!🔥 Incredible stuff 👏🏼
Those slides are awesome. Great race!
Did he hit rear brake there first corner in the first 10 seconds?
Yes a little rear brake to set the bike sideways
That was so exciting to watch. Getting picked on the last few meters sucked, you totally earned a win there. Great racing!!
Awesome again Andy. Keep fighting the orange fight for us.
I’m curious how much time he’d gain with a bit of a fairing on that 890?
Damn I was at the seat of my pants! Awesome you did so good👏 It’s also a good looking motorcycle too!
Very cool! That is rolling right along! This yet another reminder that my Duke is not the limiting factor on the track. I need a tiny bit of the skills you’ve demonstrated! That time of a 1:46.7 would be 3rd in today’s Moto America supersport practice! That’s nuts! Doesn’t appear you’ve done that much to you bike. Akro, pipe, PCV, intake mod, WP suspension, then just basic tidbits. Correct? Guy you were racing have a built 636?
That would be correct on mods. Just some bolt on deals, a tune, and bone stock engine! David has a MotoAmerica supersport spec bike.
@@andydibrino seems like he’s only beating you out through the top end. Maybe I’m wrong? Sick race Andy. Nice job dude, really.
Now what do you think would happen if you threw on carbon fiber rims? 😬
Hey Andy anywhere to pick up your team shirts online?
I don’t have them for sale. I really want to make a batch to sell! I’ll try to get some for pre-order next week so people can get them here soon. Keep on the look out on my Instagram or Facebook pages. Thanks!
@@andydibrino I'll keep an eye out here, no social media 🤣🤪🤣
What bars you run and what position? Its one thing I keep playing with on my Duke. Changing from the stock 790 bars to wider straighter bars was the single best mod (after decat and arrow pipe) even over the ohlins shock and cartridges.
Track looks awesome fun.
Stock bars in the forward spot
Nice work Sir!! ... that dastardly ninja mugging you on the run to the line was harsh .. previous lap he was several bike lengths behind ... maybe pull the trigger one lap later next time, don't give em a chance to recover 😉 Cracking racing there, congrats on another podium!!
how much is total wet weight?
I don’t know what it is without the weight on the bike. For superhooligans it’s like 440 with fuel
Nice. That last moment pass burnt me a bit but. Was there still any lead left on the bike?
No weight for race 2 👍🏼
helll yeh. that was awesome!! love your story
Great ride!
Seriously an inspiration for me man, keep it up!
seriously great riding 👍
