- Hi Gearshifters! I hope you enjoy riding along with me on a two-day off-road class taught by the #BMWUSRiderAcademy at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC. I thought I would be taking this class on a BMW 310 GS, but instead, I took the class on a BMW 1250 GS. This was my second off-road training class. It was a great class for any riding level. I was able to realize great improvement over the two day program. I increased my skills and fell in love with the 1250gs. Thanks to each of my instructors: Mackenzie, Wendy, Thomas, Michael, and special thanks to Sam for adjusting our bikes and providing support throughout the entire weekend.
Keep the shiny side up,
Jordan

There is a Starbucks machine in the performance center’s cafeteria!

Was that a 1250gs..
Which went into the plants and bushes .
I am currently researching as to what shud I upgrade to next..
I do wanna explore and be bold However I Don't wanna bite more than what I can chew...
I crashed on my 800gs. It handled it like a tank-no issues other than a broken license plate light.
Got it.. Thanks @@ShesShiftingGears
@@vspatmx7458 you’re welcome!
Nice video!!
Glad you like it-thanks for watching! I appreciate your support 🥰
I did the the 1 day on-road about 6 years ago. It was a lot of fun. My gopro died and I could not record more fun stuff in the afternoon. Hopefully, I'll get there for some refresh in the future. Great place to visit and learn. On top, Greenville is a great little town.
That is awesome that you were able to take the on-road class! I would love to take that class. I am glad that you were able to enjoy Greenville while you were there, too.
So how would the humble 310 have faired?
Great Videolog of the course by the way, very confidence inspiring. I have never side saddled even a bycycle.
My instructors all agreed that the 1250 is easier to control, especially for riders like myself who are learning clutch throttle control off-road. Once my skills are solid, I want to ride the 310 to compare the two.
wow, what a fun class. I have to take that class
You will love it!
