She wanted to be known as the best nurse. Noticing things and saving babies when no one else could. Getting put anywhere at work but with the sickest of the babies was a slight to her.
She hurt babies to make herself look good and to make other nurses look bad! They were nothing to her! 😰

@SmarterThanTheAverageUA-camr it all came as a shock because all though they didn't really talk and weren't friends, she was friendly and unassuming to my aunt. When you find out a person you know, even if not very well, is a killer, and they kill during the job you've hired them for, that can mess you up a bit.

It's a myth that most serial killers are insane or mentally ill. It's only like 20% who have psychosis or some other severe psychiatric disorder. Otherwise it would be manslaughter, not murder.

I believe she got a thrill from harming effectively powerless, extremely fragile newborns and seeking attention from her colleagues when something went wrong that she caused to be seen as both the hero and victim of the ward. She caused prolonged suffered in those poor babies while seeking attention. I cannot imagine what their parents have gone through. May her victims rest in peace.

He clearly adores his wife and children and he appears to still be the likable funny guy we all loved so much for helping us through the difficult 80s. But would it not make more sense if she wanted to make herself look good, is for those babies to survive after their collapses?
Surely she would have wanted to bring them back to bask in the glory of being the nurse who revived them.
Seems the reason were more sinister - rather she was enjoying the causal effect and the aftermath.

I think imprisoning a person where there isxzero evidence is suspect. I have a hunch that in time the truth about that toxic hospital will emerge. The male doctors need a good re.examination. especially the one that attended her and her parents home and was granted anonymity. That she cried over when he appeared in court. He seens acfair minded expert and he cant say yes or no....red flag. The trial should have been an open court trial with full reportage.
