Again. Thank You so much. I miss flying between Renovo and Lock Haven. Bucky Lunger was my OJT Engineer. He would vividly telling me about trips up Pine Creek. I got to recrew a few at Newberry Yard in 98. That was neat. Regardless, This is William Addeo. Thank You very much. I was so blessed to catch the End.
I love his commentary on the video. It reminds me of how my grandpa on my mom's side used to narrate his videos. He wasn't a railfan, but he did get a few videos of the NS coal trains in Middlesboro, KY in the early 90's.
In 1988 they ended the Canyon line, I believe. I watched those trains pass our camp from 1969 until the end. At night, we would hear the rumble down in the Canyon, then we'd see the light, minutes later the train would pass camp, at Ansonia, Pa. You could hear that train a very long time before they got to us. I still miss it. Thank you for the memories
OIEL good Catch. OIEL later Rerouted via Pittsburgh in 1990 Then Change in 1993 to 2 Sections of PIEL-A AND PIEL-B My Dad Charlie work out of Conway Yard Near Pittsburgh how you chase that train is amazing,
Really enjoyed the footage of the trains going up the Pine Creek on the Corning Secondary. All that is left of that line is the Pine Creek Rail Trail from Stokesdale to Jersey Shore. One thing I didn't like was all the ads that were in the video. There were way, way too many of them. There were ads every minute and a half. A two hour video ended up being 3 hours because of the ads.
@@andybrouse1237 I didn't get more than 2, I watched it a few times now. Could I ask how you are related to the filmer? Father? He could have sold these I bet, the narration is just enough details and is very good for doing it on the fly.
At the time this was taken, was it known the Corning Secondary up pine creek was on the chopping block? Any idea why the TV's were running Buffalo Line? Wreck on the Middle Division?

Good to see the Susquehanna Stacks. Thanks
Great stuff - lines I never really shot, especially the Pine Creek branch (hope to bike it someday)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately I have no control over the ads. It seems UA-cam adds them in at their discretion

Why did the Alcos have bullet holes in the windows?
Guilford Strike in 1987 probably had something to do with that. Likely parked unattended somewhere for a long period, giving vandals plenty of time.
