CSX had that slow order at Milford Junction a long time it seems. Great footage and info as always. Also nice to see the depot at Syracuse in good shape as it later caught fire and has since been demolished. Thanks for taking the time to put these videos together for us to watch. 👍🏻
I have to say, Wow!!! So much nostalgia, at 14 years of age this was exactly 💯 what I remember... The conrail waiting in sidings, and the Inland Steel hoppers😮😊. . Miss these days😊, awesome 👌 video....
There were 3 prototype cars built by Budd in 1987, two sleepers and a diner. They were placed in service and mixed in with the Heritage fleet until the early 2000s.

Your welcome and thank you also.@@wmuzeke
I was kinda hoping you would have filmed trains during the November 21st-23rd 1992 Tornado Outbreak.
Great stuff!!
Beautiful weather then and listen to the birds chirping
I have been across Highway 6 many times on NS, but only as far as the Indiana/Ohio line on CSX old B&O.
Lots of old EJ&E coil cars on the first train.
Is this the old B&O main that is now the double tracked CSX main. Great shots.
Yes. CSX put the other main back in the mid-1990s.
Wait a minute, is that.. A Viewliner?! 1:12:03
Yup! Probably the prototype #8400

Been on the Capitol a bunch of times to Chicago. Great ride. Super nice amenities.
I miss the old school B&O across NE indiana with the CPLs and code line and single track. 😢
I love that one part where the 2 C40-8s were pulling that early Geep and made it look like a midget.
The C40-8s are actually bigger then the widecab GEs today
I almost forgot how trains looked without graffiti all over them.
