Hi ive been watching your video to help me take the power valve arm off and your vid has helped me as i need to take the clutch case off as well i was following your vid step buy step untill you lifted the barrol up to get the powervalve arm out with the case you dont have to do that you need to take the rear brake leaver off and it will allow your clutch case to come off without lifting the barrol
Yh im doing top end on mine aswell as the kick start spring and i was looking to see how the powervalve arm come off and stumbled on your vid fort id comment to help u or any1 else out in future
@@backgardentips nice one for the tip, got a 05 ktm 85 that may be having some work done on the kick start shaft so your tip for taking the case off will come in handy :)
Was part of the gasket missing from the inner clutch cover?.....(I'm not very mechanically inclined) but I'm going to have to do this in about 2 weeks when my new one comes in
There was no reason to remove the outer clutch cover or the waterpump cover and impeller or the powervalve cover. Also no need to lift the cylinder. You can disconnect the linkage from the bottom. You have no idea what you are doing and why I never have shops work on my bikes!

Cool, thanks. I had a brand new piston and rings installed anyway so it didn't matter much.
