These steps were blocked up in 1985/1986 the building opposite is still there called city house. I wished i could have used these stairs ! Also wish icould have visited wentworth place. HI they still have a manors stop its just a bit further north than this one just before the car park. I think they blocked up the stairs and demolished the third level awnings etc to make way for electrification.
