- The foremost lesson of the twentieth century is that no war can be prosecuted successfully without air power and that it would doubtless be lost without befitting the application of air power. Momentous developments are taking place across all domains which are deeply affecting the global, regional, & national security environment. Moreover, rapidly emerging technologies and their diverse military applications are making the international and regional security landscape far more complex, volatile, and delicate.
For the last few years, I have been making documentaries about the Founding Father of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam, about some inspirational topics, and also about the PAF history. My PAF friends and my viewers have been asking me to make informative documentaries about the PAF’s present capabilities, particularly with regard to recent modernization and inductions.
In light of this, in recent years, significant initiatives have been taken in various domains including operations, capability enhancement, organization, and training, to make PAF a cutting-edge force and also highlight PAF’s unflinching resolve to ward off any external threat to national security. PAF’s comprehensive plan for the growth of in-country capabilities in the well-established as well as emerging disruptive technologies in Aerospace, Cyber, IT, and Artificial Intelligence domains also supports this argument.
In this regard, I have made two episodes about this subject. In today’s documentary, I will try to talk about the modernization of the PAF, as a whole. In the second part of this documentary, I will further share transformative inductions and modernization of the PAF in the last few years, I will talk about PAF’s recent efforts to synergize her efforts to bridge the gaps through timely inductions programmes. In the second documentary, I will also offer my objective perspective on the one-year extension given to the Air Chief by the Pakistan Government.

It's never a surprise that PAF has always upgraded itself for the modern requirement of the 3rd decade of 21st century. Imagine today's scenario without modern JF-17s inducted with over 150 in numbers during last 12 years plus? We never had huge budget to buy Gripens or Typhoons or even block 70 F-16s. Time has proven that this particular decision to design and produce JF-17 thunders locally with the help of Chinese has paid off. Otherwise it was impossible to keep 50 years old mirages or F-7s airworthy. From wars with India, to it's critical role in War on Terror.....the operational readiness has shattered all the plans of our enemies. I hope and desire that PAF shall always maintain its utmost professional standard for generations to come. Salute to our men in blue.

We are proud of our Air Force Chief, Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sindhu, ACM. We are grateful to Khalid Chisti sahib for preparing and uploading an excellent presentation of achievements of PAF during the incumbent’s tenure. As acknowledgement of his contribution he has been bestowed with extension in service. Khalid Chisti sahib is always source of inspiration and motivation and keep us energised with his video clips which he keeps on sharing from time to time.

It is with Great Pride that Pakistan has upgraded itself from Mirage 3, Mirage 5, F16, to the Latest JF17 Block 1,2,3, J10, and soon to be inducted 5th generation aircraft such as either the Chinese J31 or Turkish KaaN. Mashala PAF keep up the Good Work. Pakistan Zindabad.

@@faizaziz289 Sir. He was Air commodore in July 1978 when ACM Zulifqar finished his term. The junior most air officer was made ACM. Because he was a henpecked of Dictator Corrupt Zia who had given him extensions. As per PAF glorious traditions all great officers like ACM Sohail Aman and ACM Mujahid Anwar( mastermind of Op. Swift Retort) gracefully completed their teures. Sidhu sb is another corrupt officer carrying the legacy of AM Saeed who started corruption in PAF

Those who asked about the eligibility of ACM, may be they didn't watch the video in details or may be they have lack of information about the difference between ours and rival's military budgets. In a very limited budget and resources still we are progressing this is a Miracle. 1st we need to make us hard enough to obtain our goals without putting ourself in any conflict. Like many people ask that why we are not going to attack israel , how they forget that what we have done with Israel in Past and in future we will do more inshaAllah.

I believe that in hypersonic area India is ahead of us. They have manufactured their own hypersonic system which we have not. Plus, they have better air defense system, esp S400. Our air defense system could neither stop their aircrafts in 2019, nor thei Brahmos recently.

We can’t take the dedication of current Air Chief during his career, BUT his extension raised some serious questions. Also, his brother took part in elections, which we all know were absolutely rigged. Therefore, it really matters how one finishes his/her career. Having said that we should be respectful of men who have served. One thing, which is badly needed in all three services of Pakistan, is accountability of any one who makes to the higher ranks, there should be across the board scrutiny of any foreign and or domestic assets of the anyone who makes to one star and above. If Pakistan and its Armed Forces are to be saved, then this is high time to set some standards & accountability.
