I used to do the same in the 90´s but with the internet late at night. But one day they tried to make a phone call and heard the clasic dial up connection sound, then they found the cable that I put attached in my window and were trying to kill me! LOL
Teachworth01 It only works as long as you move the magnet by hand. The energy comes from your moving hand. As soon as you try to make a device without a moving hand, it won't work because the energy is no longer supplied to it from outside. The lever will be unable to lift away the magnet.
***** sir look the last example of the video, a little thingie pushes the magnet up when the loop is restarting, if i had enough magnets(actualy that kind of magnets) and material tho make the spinning thing i would build it, like 4 big ones,2 for powering my laptop, 1 for my cellphone, 1 for my mother's cellphone, and 10 small ones for the car batteries
Guilherme Rafael Zimermann The last example in the video is fake. It is driven by some hidden external mechanism. Several people built it, it doesn't work. You can build it too, it will not work.
For the people saying it is free energy, no there is energy stored in the magnets and it takes time to make the structure and maintain it. People need to stop thinking in terms of infinite perpetual motion and instead start to visualize it as having a bicycle wheel that spins a little longer than before thanks to X. This structure does spin for a long time but it only makes enough energy to spin itself. As soon as you add other things that add friction or resistance it will not spin for a long time. The device uses gravity to return the pin and the energy provided by the magnets is so subtle that the gradual curve is required to keep the resistance of gravity (while moving the pin up) to a minimum. This video is great for people who want to make stuff like Kinetic Art - consider this a long lasting spin. Other ways to make it spin better is to use Ceramic ball bearings instead of steel - ceramic have a push resistance of 0.2 while steel ball bearings have a push resistance of 0.8. An even greater way to extend the spin is to have the magnets on a helix that goes around the axle instead of a cylinder. For people who are looking for 'free energy' you will not get it from this machine but devices that make kinetic movement more efficient than before are certainly something that can improve current machines that need to use energy more efficiently.
I've been wondering for over a decade why nobody on the internet has shown this attempt publicly... bravo for being the first to create a self-sustaining magnetic motor.
@@indridcold8433 Had recently thought of making what looks like a gravity battery mechanism... but with 2 very powerful permanent magnets, one of them kept stationary at the top, that would get separated by liquid aluminum that would alternatively move away through a tiny amount of the charge created when attracted and from the fall of the bottom giant magnet to generate enough electromagnetism for the entire mechanism to slightly tilt for the liquid aluminum to fill or empty.
Pay no attention to "Indrid Cold" (obviously lying). There's an air hose above the wheel blowing downward to make it spin, just off camera. It's really that simple. The concepts you're talking about (gravity/battery mechanisms, etc.) have been completely disproven via dozens of different mechanisms.
The force required to torque a generator is greater than the magnetic field output. These devices don't take into consideration conversion of momentum.
Well. The science behind the arc reactor is only a little bit fiction. The original design was just a small hydrogen plasma fusion reactor. So people mistakenly believe that they can miniaturize it like cellphones in a few years.
***** The race to fusion technology is getting faster and faster. However, it may be some time until it's miniaturized to fit in a suit. Though I do think it will be possible one day. Who's to say how long from now, though. Could be twenty five years, could be two hundred and fifty.
MakoRuu I dont see you building one and testing it to prove or disprove that it's possible. All I see is you applying old data to a new idea. Add in a small generator like one in a kids car and run the camera with the power it generates. You're what I call an establishment scientist. If it's already been disproved then it can never be changed. So by your line of thinking the world is still flat and we'll fall off of the edge of the world if we sail too far. So until you can present a video disproving it, it works. Put up or shut up.
1st Law of Thermodynamics - Energy cannot be created or destroyed. 2nd Law of Thermodynamics - For a spontaneous process, the entropy of the universe increases. 3rd Law of Thermodynamics - A perfect crystal at zero Kelvin has zero entropy.
The machine at the end is at best a very complicated flywheel. energy is stored when the machine is initially "set" and the pin is placed. it is transferred into rotational energy to get it moving and from there it will slowly run down due to friction and air resistance. it cannot produce energy, if it produced more energy then it used to keep moving it would accelerate indefinitely. it cannot store energy indefinitely due to entropy. the second law of thermodynamics is absolute. If you disproved it you would win a Nobel Prize.
in theory you "could" put like a 60 or 100 to 1 rear on it and a small motor and have the flywheel turn the small gear and use the motor as a dynamo but i honestly think this was more about proving something to themselves
Skwisgar2322 it looks like the proximity of the perpendicular magnet is pulling the wheel, turning the wheel towards the magnets that are closer to the poles, opening the V. At the end of the V you need to start over, if you don't lift the magnet away, the fields will kick back. you have magnetic attraction for 90% of the rotation. it's first rotation was slower than the rest, it accelerated to its operation speed which would mean it's creating energy, not maintaining energy. there's a lot of arguing here. i think i'll just buy a rollerskate wheel and some magnets and try this out for myself to see if it's real.
Congradulations upon inventing something almost as efficient as a desk toy made of marbles and string. You now hold the key to harnessing ALL the energy of one plastic cutout falling less than six inches. Use it wisely.
I've been interested in gadgets my entire life, am an electronics tech for over 40-years, and I have to say that this is the first WORKING demonstration of 'free' energy that I have ever seen .. using the power of attraction of magnets, starting at center and spreading out toward the main magnet poles to give that increasing 'pull' needed for movement. Simple, and ingenious. II give you a '10' ...
@North American UA-camr : You mean a regular wind turbine... Replace one set of magnets with a solenoid (wire coil) and you have a Nikola Tesla "worthy" Invention (a Synchronous Generator...) - Like Magic...
@@kadmow a guy tried to debunk this video by building one like it. He did not put all the correct pieces together and he said it did not work... he might have been hired by the upper power group
I decided to build the last one at home. I have a CNC machine, so the part fabrication was pretty easy. I used aluminum and neodymium magnets. I started it July 23, 2014 5:19 PM. It is now July 24, 2014 5:24 AM. I have a feeling that it will stop, though. Still, it is pretty cool to pretend for a second that you have built a perpetual motion device...
My first reaction was that the weight of the "driver magnet" as it's released is where the initial energy might come from before it's all converted into heat as the forces of friction act on the unit until it stops. I've read other comments that claim there is air being blown at it to keep it going too, and I must admit, it does seem to change speed up and down a little as if it were being "tampered with" Keep trying though chap, you never know. The laws of thermodynamics were made to be broken ;)
even if your replication is not working, please make a video of it, i want to see it :) when my 3d printer will be up and running, its one of the thing I want to replicate, I have a lot of magnets lying around and I want to test it even (I think) that device is not working, probably powered with air compressor (air turn the rotor) since no video with sound, only music background... we dont know...
I actually think the concept at the end is brilliant. Great effort put on this. We all know it cannot go forever and it cannot physically be a perpetual motion machine, so I'm not too sure why all those arguments on the topic. HOWEVER, it seems that the energy input can be very well worth the energy output, at least conceptually. For example it could be a VERY efficient pump...
Well Bro. If it goes for some minutes, to me that means forever!!!!! Remember that the sun will not shine forever either, only another few billion years!!!!! And if it works, you can make gigantic a version to make a pump of any sort.
So the magnet wheel machines. We need to see two things. Torque generated on the shaft they ride on verses energy required to lift and lower the bar in their hands. I would wager my degree in engineering that the net result is negative. Takes more energy to lift bar than what you could extract from the shaft. The motion of the person's hand IS the source of external power.
Howard Johnson built a very simple permanent magnet motor based on a lazy susan and hand held armature. He took the small motor down to a auto motor building shop that had a dyno. The hooked up the motor and it generated 125 HP with over 100 ft lbs of torque. It only had four magnets on the lazy susan and he was using samarium cobalt magnets that were the latest in 1980. We are now two generations of permanent magnets in power beyound SC permanent magnets. Johnson called himself "the duct tape inventor" because no matter what he invented he put the concept model together with duct tape and the U.S. Patent Office issued him over 30 patents during his lifetime based on those concept models. The U.S. Navy thought so highly of Johnson's concept models that our Patent Office in Washington DC still have, that they spent seven years building and testing a working permanent magnet. HoJo's permanent magnet motor concept now powers the Navy's powerful rail guns that can fire a ship sinking projectile 275 miles. Our old 16 inch battleship guns could reach about 30 miles. Permanent magnet motors are here, they work like Howard Johnson's models work, and they will revolutionize the world.
When he lifts the magnet at the end of the cycle then pushes it back in *_that’s_* where the extra energy is coming from. I suspect that designing a mechanism to automate that would introduce too much friction.
I only got five to eight days of motion out of it. I think balancing the contraption may help me get more time out of it. How did you get it to stay running for a month.
manuel pichardo A water wheel turns gravatitional potential energy of falling mass into mechanical/electrical/thermal energy. Hydro power is indirect solar power--sun energy evaporates and transports water some of which falls much higher then sea level and some of the energy of the water 'falling' back to sea level can be captured. The system in vid is a joke.
its not hard at all to transfer kinetic energy. no different then running on a running wheel to generate electricity. its no myth, look up people that runs there house off magnetic wheels. and another good idea for electricity is instead of treadmills to exercise, how about a running wheel to help power the city you live in. creates incentive to exercise don't it?
manuel pichardo I'm sure you can find a 150 homeless ppl running on a treadmill to power each and every single house that way. Just suspend a bottle of booze in front.
Josh Zook Is that a joke?? You're kidding, right?? By that standard, Star Wars is real. The video shows it. Um, in the meantime, did you watch the "behind the scenes" version of the video, showing the air hose blowing on the wheel to make it turn?? I mean, you didn't REALLY think that producing energy is as simple as sticking some magnets on a wheel, did you?
Very interesting motor configurations, but, there is no free lunch. The energy you are adding to the system to change the position of the magnet in your hand is providing the torque. You can, no doubt, feel the attraction or repulsion on the magnet you're holding?
When I watched the video on at 1:00 long time ago I had the same idea to self move the magnet too. Glad to see how nicely it has been done. However, can't understand what is in the bottom and if it is necessary. The same thing could be done on other similar magnet rollers specially the disk ones.
Its a smaller magnet used to keep it working. The only thing that scientist say prevent this from being perpetual motion is the fact that magnets dont last forever. Dont think you can generate much power from it, but still cool.
@@wizgang0 What the hell are you talking about? There is no reason a ferromagnet would loose magnetisation. Further as any perpetum mobile. This is a scam. The wheel has a double wall in the middle with a motor inside.
This the best machine I have seen on the tube. It will generate electricity all day long. Make a larger version and add a faraday disc to it. The key is to remove friction and accelerate the disc to 12000 rpm. Take the positive from the edge and negative from the shaft. I believe this can generate all the power you need. (Retired consultant in pumps, filtration) Well done to the inventor, Beware, this should produce 1.5 volts 5000 amps.
First : nothing in this universe is free, you need energy to create magnet, a lot of for those powerfull ones Second : this machine will stop eventually In conclusion this machine is as free energy as a battery powered one.
It is not about the energy with which a magnet is manufactured because it should be destroyed to obtain its energy. It is the energy that your arm spends moving the magnet against the repulsion which comes from the chemical energy extracted from your previously eaten food. And yes. Nothing is free in the universe.
yep that's true you need energy to polarize magnets, but energy can be generated by rotating something, true the model could use some work and maybe if scaled up it would be able to obtain higher speeds... the up and down action of the magnet could be controlled with a simple crankshaft so it minimizes the impact slowing it down when it lifts the magnet love all these people yelling perpetual motion is impossible you obviously know their not inventors because "Impossible" isn't a real word in a true inventors dictionary
@@jackasshomey learns about the principle of energy conservation. if the magnetic energy turns into motion, then the magnets lose their polarization, so it no longer has magnetic energy. the movement will then be converted into heat by the friction forces, until the system stops

Let me get this straight. Fact: perpetual energy is a joke and is impossible with our current understanding of the universe because of the law of conservation of energy and entropy. This machine is a generator of sorts that works for a long time but since magnets lose their power over time this is in fact not a perpetual energy machine as the video claims but rather a cool looking magnetically charged generator that appears to be perpetual to the untrained eye. Am I correct thus far? My question is how EFFICIENT is this generator? I don't care if it's infinite or not. If I know one thing it's that magnets do some weird shit sometimes and if this generator is rather efficient why the hell aren't we funding this?
+Klaus_Klavier == Yes, it's faked (the final device). An off-screen air hose is blowing on the wheel to make it turn. Magnets and/or gravity can't make a wheel spin like you see in the video.
+Klaus_Klavier It is neither the case that magnets lose their magnetism (not over time anyways), nor that these videos are necessarily faked. They need not be 'faked'. There is no reason to posit a conspiracy here. The simple truth is, if you pay close attention to this video, you will note that a human hand is always interfering with a 'free energy' system, either by setting the machine again and again, or else subtly moving a magnet. That hand will never go away. Left on its own, with no human interference, these machines will lose their momentum, and wind down. The machine at the end may appear like it would go on forever, but it won't. It will simply slow to a halt. These machines are quite neat and ingenious devices - but without fully understanding physical laws, common sense will show you the truth: things do always wind down, unless something is feeding motion to it.
I wonder if Leonardo da Vinci had a small group of musicians in his work-loft that would play really, really terrible music whenever he was showing off some of his inventions to strangers.
Edu Well......according to a survey of my teddy bears you're probably a jerknose. lol You're totally right....I have no idea what the hell I was thinking when I typed Michelangelo instead of Leonardo da Vinci. It's not like that's a simple scriveners error: I had to really be off my game to do that. I'm just going to blame it on the music in the original video.
i dont believe in circular perpetual motion of magnets but i do believe in linear where you put a magnet at the bottom and it goes through another magnet and it keeps moving forward
While this machine works, It is not free energy. The energy needed to make permanent magnets is truly enormous, more than what this device will ever produce.
Wrong on so many levels: 1) This machine doesn't work. An off-screen air hose is blowing on it to make it spin. 2) Even if you had hypothetical magnets that never demagnetized, it wouldn't matter, you still couldn't get any device like the one in the video to spin more than 359.999 degrees. It cannot spin 360 degrees without an outside energy source to help it. You know... those pesky laws of physics. 3) The energy required to magnetize a standard kitchen magnet is roughly the same as you taking your hand and tap it on the table. This is very well known, and you can simply google "energy in magnetic fields" - do the math yourself - and see that the input energy is tiny. It's not "truly enormous" like you say. 4) If it did work (which it doesn't), then you would definitely get more energy output than input, hence free energy, hence a perpetual motion machine, that would defy the laws of physics. It wouldn't matter how strong the magnets are, or aren't. The energy required to make the magnets would be nothing compared to the energy yielded. But, of course, it doesn't work, so it's irrelevant. It's pretty rare to see so many wrong things in such a short posted message. Bravo. You set a new record for the most ignorant gibberish packed into the fewest amount of words.
Spencer Howard No, if it worked, it WOULD be free energy. But, it doesn't work. How about stopping posting pure gibberish. It's clear that you haven't got the slightest clue what you're talking about. Every single thing you've said is completely wrong, yet you decided to post MORE wrong things?
This isn't the reason why it's not free energy though since they are not loosing any stored energy. Therefore some of these will have been faked, others you can see the guy supplying energy by moving the magnet hence magnetic field by hand.
rockethead7 I'm not here to disproove or give an opinion, rather to seek knowledge; what is it with point 2 of your comment, where does this conclusion come from, I'm not very sophisticated in physics but well enough educated for you to give me some terms to google on. Would be very nice and thanks * Oh no need to, just found out by scrolling! Sorry for bothering
Free energy exists all around us, we just have to learn how to tap into it... It's not about getting something for nothing, it's about converting the energy around us, into something we can use...
You believe that because that's what you've heard. You've never conducted any research of your own to come to that conclusion, you've just eagerly accepted what others have told you because their logic makes sense. You have to be aware of the fact that there is a massive incentive to keep free energy technology hidden, and thus keep us reliant on fossil fuels, right? There's a reason why the streets aren't currently filled with electric cars, we'll never see that day in our lifetimes.
This device does have an extended running time. However, it seems to stop in about five to eight days for me. I start it and it runs strong. But I can always tell when it will stop. A few hours before it stops, it will seem to pause momentarily very briefly before the arm lifts the magnet rod. I come back in about two hours and it is stopped.
@@jhanthony2 If you really believe it will run forever, build one. I can promise you it will stop. It does have a long run time but it is not perpetual. It does not produce energy at all. It just loses it very slowly. It is easy to build. Do not expect more than 5 to 8 days of running time. If you make it to nine days, tell me what you did. But it will stop.
@@indridcold8433 Are you trying for the Nobel prize in trolling? You're a liar and you're busted. You don't have one of these. If you did you wouldn't be making these absurd claims about how long it runs. It won't go for days or for hours. It can't make so much as single rotation.
@@jhanthony2 Are you kidding me? I was trying to convince you that it did not run perpetually and you seem to think 5 to 8 days is a long time. For a device that is supposed to be perpetual, 5 to 8 days is a complete failure. I was actually trying to convince you that it did not work. If you believe 5 to 8 days is a long time for a perpetual motion apparatus, take a look at some that ran a lot longer but still failed. A moving current was sustained in a cryogenic superconductive ring of lead for years and finally failed. There is a fountain that can run longer than these pathetic 5 to 8 days. Take a look. 5 to 8 days is not a long time at all. It is a miserable failure. You can accomplish over a year with a single AA battery and a simple pulse motor.
@@indridcold8433 You said that you have one of these things that will run for a few days before it stops. If that's your claim, it's a bald-faced lie. Have I misunderstood you?
magnets cause that movement probably, meaning they will eventually need to be replaced after a while.. So it is not even a perpetual motion as it does not keep moving by itself but by a different source and when that stops working the machine stops working
***** Good find, but otherwise I would have thought about a magnet.. There is a reason one cannot patent a "perpetual motion" machine without showing a working prototype of it.. Because it should not be possible according to law of thermal dynamics.
Oh, I think it would continue to work with a bell jar over it. I suspect that there's an electromagnet under the table top that's being pulsed. And that's what is supplying the force to keep the wheel moving.
@@DutchGabbers *_So it is not even a perpetual motion as it does not keep moving by itself but by a different source_* You're sort of splitting hairs here. The magnets are an integral part of the design, so the machine does indeed, keep itself moving. Magnetism is simply *_HOW_* it keeps itself moving. Despite being an interesting design, it nevertheless is not "perpetual" nor does it provide "free energy" because a) The magnets will eventually weaken, thus causing the cycle to stop. b) The unit can't be attached to say, a small generator or alternator because this was create drag on the system -- the magnets don't provide sufficient energy to keep the wheel spinning *and* spin a secondary device.
I don't really give a shit if this video is fake or not, I see no harm in people doing this themselves and learning from it. What I find odd is so many people wanting to disprove this? I know the magnets will lose charge, and it's not being blown by air, if anything it would be a hidden motor somewhere. But let people do it. It's good to do stuff like this it gets people thinking outside the box.
Disprove it? It's already been disproved over and over and over again. There's no really debate. The problem here is that the video is a bald-faced lie, created and posted with the specific, outright intent to deceive. Yet you defend its creators as some kind of innovators who are "thinking outside the box." Bullshit. If they were merely showing their contraption, and an honest video of its failure, that would be OK. But they're not. They are lying, with malice aforethought. Do you support that?
GxZxYx I am not defending anyone. Innovation doesn't happen by people doing things the same way they need to experiment with new ways to do things and create useful devices. How about you take your shill arse and go jump in front of a train and figure out how not to get hit by the train because you're obviously some genius going round mocking people. Most likely you want people to learn in a direction that is controlled by an institution rather than do it on their own. There is ways to do things that you don't understand because you're stuck in a box mindset. Guess we will never land on the moon, never go to mars, never figure out how to make more energy from little input which is maximised by the effects of nature. But you are stuck in a mind set of stupidity, or you want people to be stuck in box because you can't get beyond your own limitations and so it must not be possible because you can't do it, or current science hasn't figured out a way, and quantum mechanics is a lie and scientist understand more than just how to manipulate it to do things in a way they want. By that I mean they don't understand physics on this level very well just that if they do x, y usually happens and they don't know why. And scientist have visited the core of the earth because they are so smart and everything they say is correct while not based on evidence but calculations based on observations. In other words just because it blows your mind doesn't mean it isn't possible. Just means you haven't figured it out, and rather than believe in possibilities you would rather believe it is a lie because you can't see how it is possible and you're such a genius that everything you think is correct and based on what you read in a book and not based on experiments, and you show no evidence to back statements. It is possible but right now you can't see how but I promise one day someone will show you how and prove that you was defiantly wrong, while this might not work it doesn't mean people should not try.
GxZxYx I support what ever gets people thinking about how to do things and not just copying someone else. And if they start and it fails chances are they will keep innovating and looking for a way. If people are too stupid to figure out how this will fail they need to do it so they can learn and figure out how to fix it.
TheaDragonSpirit What a steaming pile of rambling, incoherent bullshit. You're obviously one of those people who didn't get an education (I'm sorry for that), and now thinks that anyone who did is a tool of the establishment. Nothing I say is going to change your mind, so you go right on thinking the world is populated with dumbasses, who, by the way, built the space shuttle, the large hadron collider, the Boeing 777, and an endless list of other things. TheaDragonSpirit Oh, I get it now. You're a crank. A crackpot. Are you building these things in your basement too? How's that working out for you? I'll spell it out for you ... Jesus-fucking-Christ who would "thumbs-up" this bullshit?" Is that easier for you to figure out? The crap in this video is kids playing with magnets; it's not at all about moving anything forward. It's about deceit and intellectual vandalism. How you can possibly defend that is totally beyond comprehension.
It's obvious none of these perpetual motion machines actually work, but really you are most like me I bet :P. I just enjoy watching them. My knowledge of magnets is limited, but please.
teodor martyniuk There's a giant difference between free and cheap. Imagine you want it to run for an infinite time. If it is free, then it will run for an infinite time for free, no questions asked. If it is cheap, then it will still require an infinite source of magnets to run it for an infinite time.
It's irrelevant that magnets eventually demagnetize. The issue is that there isn't any energy in magnets to "tap into" like the video pretends. Even if you had a hypothetical magnet that never demagnetized, it still cannot make a wheel spin. The only thing making the wheel spin is the off-camera air hose blowing on it. Without that, you cannot even get a single full rotation. Magnets aren't batteries. Magnetism is a FORCE, not energy.
Not only does the user lift the magnet past the sticky spot but he also pushes back down with the magnet. This (the user's push) is where the extra energy is coming from to cause the rotation.
So the initial kick of kinetic energy, in dropping the magnet towards the drum, was shown to spin the drum for just 1 minute and 8 seconds. Show me it running after an hour and I will admit that the engineering has achieved remarkable levels of precision to remove frictional losses but this is no perpetual motion machine.
@@DJW1959Aus so try it yourself and you'll see it can work. But with a poor force so impossible to make energy from that. +magnet aren't infinite +friction didn't help. So anyways , it's useless , only a toy for the desk in the best case.

GxZxYx I read about it, and apparently when the guy is holding the magnet that is spinning the skateboard wheel, he is exerting an almost imperceptible force on the wheel as he presses the magnet inwards. How exactly is the wooden contraption faking perpetual motion? Would you say there is a motor in there somewhere?
Well, nice machine, I want one for my desk, can I buy it somewhere? PS: It's pretty obvious this machine won't run for ever, especially not if you try to harvest energy from it.
Simon Rose how did they fake it? Is there a hidden motor inside? I know that perpetual motion/free energy machines are impossible, but it looked as if it could preserve momentum for the duration of the video.
Simon Rose Not sure if trolling or just stupid. But you clearly don't understand how magnets work. Take a look at a magnetic train for example, the way it works is almost exactly like how the magnets in the video are presented. And magnetic trains are highly operable and are rated as the best trains in the world. Stop being so skeptical and go do some research before you go around yelling "dur it's a hoax!" at every experiment.
And that ignorance is why science hasn't moved forward in that field. You are literally seeing it move on its own, then putting your fingers in your ears, closing your eyes, and saying, "Perpetual motion isn't possible!" And you managed to have 6 other lemmings follow suit.
First of all stop calling them perpetual motion machines. They are free energy machines. We live in an entropic universe and everything decays and dies in time. Suns, galaxies and eventually even Universes will die unless our Creator has set in motion a continual death and rebirth cycle. Free energy machines do work. Windmills are free energy machines. Solar panels are free energy collectors. So are the energizers that John Bedini makes that collects the zero point energy (aka radiant and dark energy). So is the models that Howard Johnson got a U.S. patent for that work off of permanent magnets that the U.S. Navy has used to build working permanent magnet motors from. That is another free energy machine. Free energy means after it is built it requires no additional cost fuels to keep running. Maintenance yes, but fuel no. You see. Free energy machines do exist. They run and if we build a completely distributed system we can take down our costly and vulnerable grid and free the world from a major cost to our species. Not since 100,000-80,000 BC when fuel sources were free for the pickup have we had that freedom. Greedy people have been buying patents to shelve them, and as a last resort they murder inventors to hang on the profits made from grossly outdated and environment harming technologies. You need to stop splitting hairs Henry and get with the program. This will fundamentally change our world for the better.
Unless you add that to a 5 kw permanent magnetic generator to be moved by that X force, and the energy to flow to a DC to AC inverter and then to back-up batteries! like that you could create energy!
I'm not talking about perpetual energy. Let me explain, do you know how the wind turbines work? well if you know, imagine that in the place of a big-ass wind turbine wings you put powerful magnets to create a conversion of a linear movement X force to a circular one, to move the turbine instead of the wind, you could create energy!
***** I am 100% correct, no such thing as free energy extracted from so called perpetual movement machine, current or future science doesn't make any difference ! The result is that it gives them confidence to display their idiocy without being challenged, and worse, they gain followers. It is why in Western societies, the schooling system produces such a lot of illiterate and we end up being governed by morons !.
Perpetual motion? Pshaw. As an engineer you QUICKLY realize that there are some immutable laws of physics that would require much more than a few magnets to circumvent. Conservation of energy is one of those laws. None of this shows perpetual motion, and as everyone should know, we cannot manufacture any perfect magnets: they all lose magnetization over a period of time (unless energy (elec) is used). The only time energy can be created is by accelerating matter at the speed of light. Unfortunately, achieving the speed of light would require 1) that the matter becomes mass-less and 2) an infinite amount of energy, a catch-22 if you will. And as for this video, where are your near frictionless bearings? where's the vacuum? where's the superchilled chamber? Perpetual motion experiments need to have all these things to even be considered as part of research. The number of free variables in these experiments is staggering...
As a scientist with PhD I tell that is an absolute possibility and the entire universe is based on that the same way Earth and moon are moving down to electron,,, but is disrupting to the world economy and politics all together.
i say experiment and keep on experimenting. even if you have a Phd in pysics. go crazy and do experiments. there are always more experiments to repeat, new ones to do and always there are exceptions to every law. you will never know until you try each and every thing.

For the people confused about why this isn't truly perpetual motion, here's a simple explanation: let's start with magnetism. Magnetism IS a force, but maybe not the kind of force you think it is. It's not a 'pushing' force, really, it's just a 'resisting' force. Think of it this way: if you hit your hand on a table, the table will stop your hand. Your hand will not pass through the table. Now, this is because on an atomic level, electrons from the table /repel/ the electrons in your hand. But if you lie on the table, you are at rest. Although the table is 'pushing' you up, and although you are 'pushing' it down, energy isn't involved, and you aren't actually doing any work. Magnets are really just the same thing, on a larger scale. They have a constant, permanent 'polarity' which will resist any magnet of the same polarity. They are resisting one another, you see, but after one magnet pushes another magnet away, they are at rest, just as you are at rest when you lie down on a table. To get the magnet to do any work, you will have to bring another magnet near to it again. But the trick here is that your hand is really doing the work. This is all very simple. But in more complicated examples like the one in this video, it all boils down to the same trick. (So the trick here is NOT that magnets run out of 'energy'. They don't have energy to begin with! They only have a resisting force, and it will not run out unless the magnet is heated to vey high temperatures. This resisting force can be used to /store/ energy, but it doesn't actually contain any energy at the start.) Notice that every machine in the video begins with someone adjusting the machine, or putting things into the right position. And often, they have to be repositioned again and again. Although some will last longer than others, in the end, the machines will not give off any more energy than what the positioner - the person - puts into them. Some machines require more input energy, so they spin longer than the ones which require less input energy. In a vacuum, they would all go on forever, just like anything would, but once they meet resistance like friction or air pressure, the energy will get sapped away and they will slowly - but most certainly - come to a stop. That's how this all works.
+NoogahOogah That's true, if you're only talking about the contraptions in this video. They all work as shown, except the last one. But if you're talking in general, then no. Every Perpetual Motion Machine, Magnet Motor, or Over-Unity Device you have ever seen, or ever will see, is fake. Every one of them.
+GxZxYx That is entirely contingent on your definition of 'fake'. If by 'fake', you mean 'does not actually demonstrate perpetual motion', that's quite true. If by 'fake', you mean 'intentionally manipulated to render the appearance of perpetual motion', then no, I dispute this. Quite a number of people on UA-cam making perpetual motion machines really think they've done it; they are misguided, not fraudulent. Hanlon's razor. More to the point, on this video in particular, I've noticed a number of commenters who don't understand why, in principle, magnetism cannot be used to create perpetual motion since magnetism is a permanent property of certain physical objects. That is the confusion my comment was meant to clarify.
+NoogahOogah Yes, by "fake" I mean "does not actually demonstrate perpetual motion" and is presented with intent to deceive. You are right, I am not accounting for those who are fooling themselves, and there are certainly a few of those. But I think they are overwhelmingly outnumbered by those who are perpetrating intentional fraud.
Technically creating the generator isn't free, but in this case the energy is ultimately generated by two forces played in opposition to each other: gravity and magnetism. Because neither gravity nor magnetism requires its own energy source to operate the machine theoretically doesn't need to be fed by anything to keep running. I'm not sure this would work if it were rigged up to harness the energy, and I don't know if this process is actually producing energy at all. It could just be using gravity and magnetism to prolong the dissolution of the rotational energy from the wheel dropping into motion that first time.
Because the generator experiences friction each revolution, usable energy must be lost in the form of heat and probably sound. Energy must be constantly added to the system by some external force in order to maintain revolution. I don't claim to know what that is, but it must be. Also, the friction must cause decay on the system, meaning that it is not truly perpetual. At some point in time, parts need to be replaced.
Redbeard The Pink Yes that is essentially what is happing. This is basically an elaborate fly wheel which has no more energy stored in it then what is put into the system when the operator starts it spinning. Over time the wheel would come to a stop from air resistance. Connected to anything with an more fiction producing parts, such as a dynamo, it would come to a stop much sooner. Oddly enough NASA is looking at these magnet wheels, NOT as a means to produce energy (because they don't) but as an efficient means to store energy for long periods. Within a hard vacuum they would be spin for even longer and potentially could be used in new satellite designs. Satellites cost a lot of money to build, launch and operate so it helps if they can have a long lifespan. One of the biggest determining factors for that lifespan is the satellite's on board power. Potentially a magnetic flywheel could be spun up with large amounts of stored/potential energy on Earth, launched into orbit aboard a satellite and with a simple clutch could be connected to a dynamo when power was needed. The wheel would in effect be an on board battery but only because it was originally spun up with kinetic energy.
Where did you you come from? Either there has always been stuff or it came from nothing! Another possibility is we are limited by our imaginations and language.
GxZxYx and rockethead7 and others, I really appreciate you hanging in there and going over this again and again and again. I hate to admit it after reading this long ass thread but I believed this machine was real and would have argued until I looked as stupid as I am. What you're doing here is good, try to take it easy on those of us who have been dooped. Thanks
Thanks. But please note, I try not to be hard on people who merely don't understand physics. Most people don't. I'm hard on people who PRETEND to understand physics. If you look carefully, if you find threads where people merely ask questions, I'll give helpful answers. If you find threads where people make "statements" about physics (that are dead wrong), pretending to understand topics they don't understand (bullshitters), that's when you'll find that my tone is more harsh.
Complete BS, in reality the energy required to move the magnetic bars would be greater than the momentum produced by the magnetic fields. When done by hand the system is having energy input from the human arm, in the autonomous demo there is a hidden motor.
..youre not thinking..these devices are basic proofs of concept and not efficient finnished products..they very obviously can be made to produce a lot of mechanical or electric energy if made with better materials and scaled up..so what if one the size of a small car is needed to power a house..you are powering a whole house for free and very cleanly..
What I don't understand is why these hoax demonstrations are a trendy thing. Why is it so prevalent? If you study these things or even have the material to perform them you are obviously interested in science and have a love for knowledge. So why smack all of us in the faces for absolutely no reason? Sad and pathetic
There are 5,913,678 reasons they do it, and counting. (Hit count on these videos = ad revenue.) The pathetic part isn't that they make hoax videos. The pathetic part is that people fall for them.
Well I feel different, I would say its pathetic on the creators part. Maybe you would consider it pathetic for a viewer but my young brother was one of them and he referred me to these videos, he is only 14 and wants to be an engineer. He knows I love electromagnetism, so he sent them my way. I don't believe its pathetic for a child to get excited over this kind of video. It sparks interest, it provides a solution to existing problems, and for me personally caused me to experiment with many different orientations, but at the end of the day it is still a falsely lead hoax
Tommy Noble Yes, you're definitely correct. When it comes to children, we can't expect them to always know how to tell the difference between a hoax and a real thing. And, yes, it's definitely pathetic that someone makes money by fooling people (unless they outright tell you that they're only fooling you). My original cynicism (about the pathetic part being the viewers who believe this stuff) comes from watching viewer after viewer latch onto this sort of thing, and refuse to allow themselves to even remotely believe that they've been fooled. I've watched countless gullible viewers escalate to the point of centuries-old conspiracy theories committed by every government on Earth, designed to stop people from putting magnets on wheels. That kind of thing is pathetic. But, yeah, basically, we're on the same side here, just debating about which type of moron is worse than the other.
Its funny you bring up the "century old conspiracy theorists" convinced they, along with the rest of us, are being suppressed by an all wise group of elistists lol. In more recent times I've just avoided the type as compared to my immature past where I would clash with them in debate. A lot of these individuals are quick to say two things. 1. Wake up 2. Do your research. Well..lol I have and I've ran the system over and over as I already mentioned, these magnetic fans DO NOT WORK. I did create a theory to make it work though, but with current technology its not impossible
The problem of ignorance is that people NEEDS to believe in something. If they don´t understand, they´ll choose to grab to the hope of what they want to be true. Like gods & religions - we don´t know how to explain it, so we choose to believe, because of..we just want.. I wanted so much this to be true also. The other reason i see to perpetuate this kind of HOAX videos is to misled people. Politics: Its propaganda to shape mentalities against governments and their capitalist way of conduct. like: "They are controlling our energy sources and as you see, we have free energy production alternatives, but shhh, they don´t want us to produce this free energy to keep their interests!" Bullshit. Pure conspiracy theories
Everyone says it cant work because you cant put in less energy than what you get out. But... Isnt it using the magnetic forces as its energy source? So its just using a method of energy that is difficult for us to understand/use? So its still using energy, its just turning non-useable energy into useable energy.
***** thorium engine? you mean that car that runs on thorium? thunderfoot has an entire video dedicated to why that's bullshit, I recommend that you watch that and you might learn something.
As soon the PPM is able to preform work there'll be awards and medals. It needs to be able spin a electro magneto generator or an automobile's crankshaft
If it was real the kid would be sued. Why? Because of all the damn patents everyone else would have on their "FREE ENERGY, MAGNET MACHINES.". Because these magnet energy machines have been a work in progress way before this channels time.
There is no such thing as Perpetual Motion or do you really think planets rotate because of that? No, space turtles give each planet a push from time to time - every kid knows that :P
I agree with you, too. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Another experiment will start in 2017 on my channel. And it is not a perpetual motion machine. It is a kind of energy source.
The final machine pictured here is not a perpetual motion machine. Perpetual motion machines are impossible due to the Law of Conservation of Energy. This law states that energy cannot be created or destroyed but may be changed from one form to another. So even if the final machine was legitimately working, all its doing is converting magnetic energy to kinetic and heat energy (no energy creation is taking place)
misleading title. somebody needs to look up once more what "perpetual motion" means. "generator" is even worse because that would mean 2nd order perpetual motion. all the shown devices including the last one had put initial energy into them to work. they will all run out like an ordinary spinning wheel. they will do it in a neater way and take longer, but they ultimately will stop. the single vids are so short to hide that fact.
..so what if they needed initial startup energy..refute cars for having starter motors?..and what did you think you were seeing?..an expensive and time consuming photo realistic CGI fake?..what the hell are your optic nerves attached to?..propaganda?..
@@deanlonagan1475 you don't get it either. Why would a perpetuum mobile need initial startup energy? The shown devices need initial energy to overcome friction. If it needs to overcome friction it isn't a perpetuum mobile. Why does that all sound so confusing to you? Because perpetual motion doesn't exist, it is a paradox. And "free" energy doesn't exist as well. Everyone who payed some attention at science class in school should realize that. As long as the air around those devices isn't cooling down it is all nonsense. Energy always has to come frome somewhere (law of energy conservation). Our "free" energy comes from the sun (and according to some people's opinion from unicorn farts).
you both are wrong, just cause something needs a starting energy doesn't mean it's not a real generator (look at combustion motors for example), that being said, all the devices shown in the video (and any device claiming to be a perpetual motion/free energy generator) are fake, and you can thank the 2nd law of thermo dinamycs for that
Why are people so against the idea of these things working? There is no reason for people to fake it, what would they gain? If you don't believe it then prove it. Make a video of a machine like one of the ones shown in the video, then WATCH IT stop.
we can prove it doesn't work by using the laws of thermodynamics. The second law states that energy tends to dissipate; entropy always increases in a closed system. Unless this machine doesn't produce friction it will slowly go down to a stop.
PLEASE READ, Awesome designs but what no one ever mentions is that even though perpetual motion machines are theoretically possible, THEY DO NOT PRODUCE ENERGY! By definition a perpetual motion machine recycles 100% of the energy you put into it, it doesn't create any energy. All it does is transfer energy around within the machine and for it power a generator or do anything useful it would have to transfer energy from itself out to the generator and eventually run out of energy. That's if you could even build one in reality. Gravity, air resistance, friction, etc... make it pretty much impossible to build one. Here is something kinda deep, Nothing that exist in our universe produces energy, ALL energy already exist. We and nature find ways to harvest, convert, or release energy, but nothing makes it. The sun for instance releases energy by burning its fuel, eventually it will burn out. This is why i still believe in god as much as i believe in science. Because science can only explain so much until you start asking deep questions like why does the universe even exist. What is the universe? is there an end/border to it, if not the thought of it going on for infinity blows my mind. If there is a border whats on the other side?
+JEZPP but if the magnets on this machine are strong enough to push it round, while being connected to a generator(induction motor such as an alternator), wouldn't it produce voltage?
+Kenny Page -- The final device in the video is being spun by the off-screen air hose blowing on the wheel. Magnets and/or gravity cannot produce the effect shown.
+JEZPP == Your comments about perpetual motion machines are correct. I'll add that, since any physical device will always experience energy loss, no matter how slight, that any "working" perpetual motion machine would, therefore, need to produce more energy than it consumes (which you and I both know is impossible). Your comments about the fact that all energy already exists, and that everything in the universe is merely transforming/transferring from one thing to another, is correct also. The generally accepted idea is that all energy was imparted at the big bang. And, it's generally accepted that, as a complete system, the universe's net energy is zero (though, it wouldn't matter if this aspect of energy was correct or incorrect, the rest of what we know about the functional energy in the universe would still be correct). I don't know if you're ready to really understand this or not, but energy doesn't even really "exist" in any real way. Energy is just a math formula, no more, no less, that represents a mass' ability to do work, and/or its current kinetic energy state with relation to something else. When people talk about how an atomic explosion "converts" matter to energy, I imagine that 99% of the people misunderstand what's actually meant by that. The bonds are broken at the atomic (and possibly subatomic) level, "releasing" the energy in the form of heat and photons. But, those subatomic particles don't just fade out of existence. They're still there (blown to smithereens). But, the "work" has been done, because they no longer have the atomic (or maybe even subatomic) bonds that hold them together. If you want to put them back together again, you'd have to throw them into a star (or something) to get re-fused. As for belief in a god due to what science can't currently explain, that's called "the god of the gaps." The same god of the gaps that you're invoking to explain the deep mysteries of the universe was once used to explain the deep mysteries of lightning, tidal waves, etc. The god Zeus died when science figured out what lightning is. The god Poseidon died when science figured out what causes tidal waves. How does water, which is heavier than air, just disappear from a bowl when it's out in the hot sun? How does water just form from nothing in the sky, and make clouds? And, why does the sky sometimes appear to get angry, and unleash massive amounts of energy in the form of lightning, causing fires, deaths, etc.? And, how in the world could an inanimate thing like light always know to arrange itself in a perfect pattern of red to purple in the form of a rainbow? Light isn't intelligent, so how does the red light always know to go first, then orange, then yellow (etc.). A god must be arranging those colors in that order, especially since that we humans can never quite catch the end of the rainbow, no matter how fast we run to reach where it touches the ground. It always gets away before we get there. Certainly, a god must be controlling rainbows. Turn back the clock a few centuries, and people used gods to explain those things, such as lightning, thunder, rainbows, evaporation, tidal waves, etc. Turn to today, and people use gods to explain what we don't yet know about the cosmos.
You don't have to explain that much that perpetual magnetic motor does not work. You just understand this...the magnetic field is in sphere shape not linear.....forget about resistance, friction and gravity....the magnetic field sphere is already good enough to stop the motor because its repelling effect is as strong as attracting. What i meant is at one angle the magnetic repel another angle it attract. Thus it stop as simple as that. You cannot change the magnetic field shape no matter what you do and it's always in sphere. This meant all magnetic perpetual motor on UA-cam 1000000000% fake eternally
BUT THE neodymium magnets, eventually run out of magnetism. Now, charge up the neodymium magnets, while this is running, and I will be impressed. OTHERWISE, NOT PERPETUAL MOTION...
The invisible magnetic lines of flux are the source of energy. Just as electrons flow to give us current magnetic lines of flux are always flowing as in Earth flux. That movement can be captured by manipulating the factors. So I believe this can be constructed. Good work!
Nice! Would it go smoother if static magnet was under it on some spring, so when pushed away would go easier as it would go toward the Earth instead of opposing the gravity?
Oh, what's the piece under the roll that activates with the punch of the eliptic piece? Noooo it isn't a presure switch nooo, just a.....aaaanother magnet v: yesss, free energy wins! Pick up it or sustain the mechanism yourself and i will believe you
BuckGreywolfe Energy from a generator that doesn't consumes another energy or the dame enrgy Is like multiplicate the same energy always (It means you will bot pay never it) And that is obviously impossible
Bobsyouruncle Wilson it probably needs more energy to even bump the bar because the shafts moment is perpendicular to the ground, meaning it has to counter the full extent of gravity without an angled ramp to support some of the weight of the shaft. These fake things are even dumber when you have to think about other forces.
@@johnpayne5590 UA-cam really is a catalyst of stupidity, multiple people I know came up to me in recent years showing me crap like this thinking it was real

Most people think this work, which it does but it's not. This is because the magnets will soon wear out making it not infinite. But it is still very cool!
It's too bad you think this video LIE is "very cool." It does not work until the magnets wear out, it does not work AT ALL. It's totally fake. It's spun by a stream of compressed air from off-camera. i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/18dtgs2p8d8s5jpg.jpg
When I want free energy I just plug an extension cord into my neighbor's outlet.

It's a WORKING UA-cam views generator (although a non-working free energy generator).
***** Explain how this doesn't work
Teachworth01 It only works as long as you move the magnet by hand. The energy comes from your moving hand. As soon as you try to make a device without a moving hand, it won't work because the energy is no longer supplied to it from outside. The lever will be unable to lift away the magnet.
zetalore It's more like one of those flashlights that you have to shake for it to work.

Well. The science behind the arc reactor is only a little bit fiction. The original design was just a small hydrogen plasma fusion reactor. So people mistakenly believe that they can miniaturize it like cellphones in a few years.
It most likely will be. lol

Cool story, bro.
If you put any kind of resistance on it like a moor it would stop very quickly, likely in less then 1 revolution.
thats why i said like a 60 to 1 because it won't really stress it
doesn't matter, there is a finite amount of rotational energy stored, it would barely be enough to power a flashlight for about 1 sec.
Skwisgar2322
it looks like the proximity of the perpendicular magnet is pulling the wheel, turning the wheel towards the magnets that are closer to the poles, opening the V.

Opin-Eon the magnets are not perfect and neither is the cylinder so that could be the cause of the momentum change.
simhopp I am afraid I cannot provide 3D files for the prototype. A CNC machine is (basically) 2D.

The off-screen air hose blowing on the wheel is the source of energy.
How does an air hose turn a wheel without paddles?
***** There's enough "paddle" effect from the magnets sticking out.
Andrew T. If he put the bar at the bottom of the device and spring loaded it to minimize resistance would this help?
When he lifts the magnet at the end of the cycle then pushes it back in *_that’s_* where the extra energy is coming from. I suspect that designing a mechanism to automate that would introduce too much friction.

How does it start and have you actually generated energy? Your machine is still subject to Newtons laws of motion.
how is it any different then the way a water wheel works?
manuel pichardo A water wheel turns gravatitional potential energy of falling mass into mechanical/electrical/thermal energy.

Um, in the meantime, did you watch the "behind the scenes" version of the video, showing the air hose blowing on the wheel to make it turn?? I mean, you didn't REALLY think that producing energy is as simple as sticking some magnets on a wheel, did you?
It was air blowing? Well fuck. Still clever then. They fooled a con-man!

These experiments will become relevant in our daily lives.
how though? the thing will eventually stop spinning on it's own. plus if you try to tap energy from it, it will just stop.
First : nothing in this universe is free, you need energy to create magnet, a lot of for those powerfull ones
Second : this machine will stop eventually
In conclusion this machine is as free energy as a battery powered one.
It is not about the energy with which a magnet is manufactured because it should be destroyed to obtain its energy. It is the energy that your arm spends moving the magnet against the repulsion which comes from the chemical energy extracted from your previously eaten food. And yes. Nothing is free in the universe.
yep that's true you need energy to polarize magnets, but energy can be generated by rotating something, true the model could use some work and maybe if scaled up it would be able to obtain higher speeds... the up and down action of the magnet could be controlled with a simple crankshaft so it minimizes the impact slowing it down when it lifts the magnet

@@jackasshomey Perpetual motion machines have been around forever... if they worked we would know it by now
Let me get this straight.
+Klaus_Klavier as there is no net production, it is not a generator.
just from what ive observed is magnets revving a wheel. was this faked in the respect as the magnets cannot pull the wheel?
+Klaus_Klavier == Yes, it's faked (the final device). An off-screen air hose is blowing on the wheel to make it turn. Magnets and/or gravity can't make a wheel spin like you see in the video.
+rockethead7 then, can u explain how the Earth is spining? without magnet?
These machines are quite neat and ingenious devices - but without fully understanding physical laws, common sense will show you the truth: things do always wind down, unless something is feeding motion to it.

do you believe in magic? This guy disappeared. Hasn't been active in 3 years.
While this machine works, It is not free energy. The energy needed to make permanent magnets is truly enormous, more than what this device will ever produce.
Wrong on so many levels:
1) This machine doesn't work.
Ok I will rephrase, EVEN IF this machine worked it wouldn't be free energy.

This isn't the reason why it's not free energy though since they are not loosing any stored energy. Therefore some of these will have been faked, others you can see the guy supplying energy by moving the magnet hence magnetic field by hand.

It is physically impossible to have a perpetual motion machine, not anything that has “free energy” because of thermodynamics
Free energy exists all around us, we just have to learn how to tap into it... It's not about getting something for nothing, it's about converting the energy around us, into something we can use...

Oh, I think it would continue to work with a bell jar over it. I suspect that there's an electromagnet under the table top that's being pulsed. And that's what is supplying the force to keep the wheel moving.
@@DutchGabbers *_So it is not even a perpetual motion as it does not keep moving by itself but by a different source_*
You're sort of splitting hairs here. The magnets are an integral part of the design, so the machine does indeed, keep itself moving. Magnetism is simply *_HOW_* it keeps itself moving. Despite being an interesting design, it nevertheless is not "perpetual" nor does it provide "free energy" because
a) The magnets will eventually weaken, thus causing the cycle to stop.
b) The unit can't be attached to say, a small generator or alternator because this was create drag on the system -- the magnets don't provide sufficient energy to keep the wheel spinning *and* spin a secondary device.
If people are too stupid to figure out how this will fail they need to do it so they can learn and figure out how to fix it.

teodor martyniuk Never said it wasn't efficient, but just not free. I was kinda saying that this is physically possible because it's not free energy.

As much as I hate fake perpetual motion machines, this one is pretty clever and satisfying to watch.
First and only rule for perpetual motion machine videos, it doesn't work and will never work
First of all stop calling them perpetual motion machines.

Pure "fugazy", if it was really producing more power than it took to turn the wheel, it would speed up.
It actually does stop, in about 5 to 8 days. It does not produce energy. It just loses it very slowly. I have never got 9 days from it.
the phrase "perpetual motion" gets some people's panties in a bunch! lol
I hope this design has been patented if you plan on getting money from this.If not, then you're pretty cool sir ;D

“Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.” -- Douglas Adams
This resisting force can be used to /store/ energy, but it doesn't actually contain any energy at the start.)
Notice that every machine in the video begins with someone adjusting the machine, or putting things into the right position.
+NoogahOogah
Well, OK, but this is how it actually works ...
i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/18dtgs2p8d8s5jpg.jpg
+GxZxYx They aren't all fake in that way.
+NoogahOogah
That's true, if you're only talking about the contraptions in this video.
+NoogahOogah
Yes, by "fake" I mean "does not actually demonstrate perpetual motion" and is presented with intent to deceive.
You are right, I am not accounting for those who are fooling themselves, and there are certainly a few of those. But I think they are overwhelmingly outnumbered by those who are perpetrating intentional fraud.
The last one was genius
Yeah, it was true genius to think of using an air hose to turn it ...

I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as a free energy generator. The energy must be coming from somewhere. This is a brilliant machine though.
It's coming from the magnets ifself. They will slowely demagnetize and after a while, you will need new ones.
Where did you you come from? Either there has always been stuff or it came from nothing! Another possibility is we are limited by our imaginations and language.
The only real perpetual motion machine is the cat and butter toast.
If you find threads where people make "statements" about physics (that are dead wrong), pretending to understand topics they don't understand (bullshitters), that's when you'll find that my tone is more harsh.
omg this music brings back memories
Complete BS, in reality the energy required to move the magnetic bars would be greater than the momentum produced by the magnetic fields. When done by hand the system is having energy input from the human arm, in the autonomous demo there is a hidden motor.
..youre not thinking..these devices are basic proofs of concept and not efficient finnished products..they very obviously can be made to produce a lot of mechanical or electric energy if made with better materials and scaled up..so what if one the size of a small car is needed to power a house..you are powering a whole house for free and very cleanly..
@@deanlonagan1475 not only did you violate the second law of thermodynamics, you violated the first law as well.
Tommy Noble
Yes, you're definitely correct.
Politics: Its propaganda to shape mentalities against governments and their capitalist way of conduct. like: "They are controlling our energy sources and as you see, we have free energy production alternatives, but shhh, they don´t want us to produce this free energy to keep their interests!"
Bullshit.
Magnetic force only allows for potential energy ( in the exact same way gravity does ).
If this was real, this kid would have one the Nobel Prize. And then this would be all over the news. But it didn't do it's fake

Curious, these engineers seem to be talented, though understanding of thermodynamics fundamentals avoids them.

+Kenny Page --
The final device in the video is being spun by the off-screen air hose blowing on the wheel. Magnets and/or gravity cannot produce the effect shown.
+JEZPP ==
Your comments about perpetual motion machines are correct.
Yes mass equals energy, as Einstein told us, it doesn't produce it, as you say, it converts into it. And this is not a one way train...

Now, charge up the neodymium magnets, while this is running, and I will be impressed.
