For starters, i think you need to change some settings cause you shouls be able to see unit HP, and auto sell transports. So not sure what your settings are like. To answer some questions, the pen on the leo 1A5 is lower because the pen scales with range, so it has the same pen as the 1A1, but scales due to range. Also i noticed you didnt swap the transport with the rest of your panzergren, also panzergren in marder are better cause they have DMRs which are OP atm, its basically 2 extra men with high suppression, which is annoying that you have to do it per squad, not sure why Eugen hasnt fixed that. Also most upvet their inf or vehicles by 1 unless theyre already upvetted. It can be good for some units, but its a long story Also with the jets, tornadoe clus is bad cause its a high altitude bomber, eugen refuses to indicates whats a dive bomber and whats high altitude Also reservists basically has decreased stats, but eugen also refuses to fix it. They have less reload, accuracy, firerate etc B to smoke your vehicles lol
it's different. Instead of choosing specializations (that mostly aren't really viable), you have multiple different decks with already picked specializations. I vastly prefer the WARNO approach, because it makes the game more balanced. And there is already a lot of decks to choose from.
I find it odd that Eugen wanted to reduce the micro load in Warno by adding new semi-autonomous commands, yet when I play it I find myself much more lost in micromanaging units than in Wargame. I cant count the times I found myself floating massive amounts of points because I was distracted by micro-ing infantry between buildings, their IFVs etc. For me at least, their attempt reduce micro-load didnt work at all...
they focused too much "smart unit behavior" which is conceptually a terrible idea with few exceptions (defensive smoke is good if the game is balanced around playing on a wider front), and not enough on basic QOL and interface design.
11:17 speaking of questionable UI decisions, how is it that the bars for all the unit stats look even more random than they did in Wargame while also having the coloured number next to the bar look like a literal placeholder just dumped randomly on the screen?
Jäger's are light infantry, but also are basis to Mountain and Paratrooper infantry. Jägers operate independently with light armor and mechanization in areas that are unsuitable for heavy armor. Meanwhile Panzergrenadiers are specialized infantry meant to support armor. Are Jäger troops better trained it is hard to tell, they do train with lot more troops then Panzergrenadiers who mainly train with themselves and with Jäger troops. Jäger troops train with Panzergrenadiers, but also with their more specialized troops( Mountain infantry and paratroopers)
warno to wargame is like red alert 3 to red alert 2-both are good in their own way, each with quirks that take time to adjust to. They’re essentially different games with different communities, except since they’re sequels, fans keep trying to convert each other. Also common is wargame>>warno and RA2>>RA3🤣
The reasoning (I'm pretty sure) behind concepts like a 45pt M577, the 65pt Sultan, then the FuFu (ara ara) at 85pts is speed. Motorized units absolutely FLY like in Wargame, and Motorized units have additional emphasis because they're very powerful in openers. Also, this video seems to be the trope Old person tries something new and malds. Not sorry!
It's unfortunate you got the 1 uraban map in rank that got added to the pool recently and there are lots of warno player that dislike it but just there are ppl who liked urban map in wargame , i guess it's a matter of taste. I think there are some UI settings you can tweak , some other stuff as you said won't matter for 98% of ppl. For current veterancy, the biggest stat is actually suppression resistance and regen. Other stat only gets minor bonus(except special forces trait), so mostly 1vet of infantry squads and tanks that is expected to get shot at. For infantry, traits has indeed replaced training and are a bit varied. Fsj are not terminators in warno so they don't get special forces trait but those that usually come in base 2 vet and get extra stat bonus from vets so those do perform strongly. There's a resilient trait that gives suppression resistance so those unit perfom roughly liked shock in wargame. The shock trait itself does a little more suppression when in very close range (with the shock icon popping up) that doesn't matter much. Building elevation gives a lot of line of sight bonus including recon range. Balance of unit do change and with a recent shake up in strike tram might get some new directions going forward. It's fine ppl want to stick to wargame for the familiarity but i honestly think ppl can get used to the new visuals, sense of units capabilities , ranges etc. very quickly.
To add onto this, i think transport available is technically controlled through card availability, some transport only come with certain cards of infantry that's otherwise similar in stat. It's a rare thing and wasn't the case for 2nd pgren but it's been done and can be used for adjustment for balance purpose in the future.
I sadly agree. I hate the warno deck system. I much preferred the wargame RD UI and nation/coalition => specialization system. Forward spawn is also not my thing. I get the vanguards battling each other idea but some decks can basically just spawn all their inf ahead and bunker down in the objectives. Smoke on vehicles, qol, defensive fire for mortars are all great additions but then the UI sucks imo. I am slowly growing on Warno but definitely a mixed bag for me atm. I noticed the graphics thing you mentioned too. The AT, atgm and AA missile animations look a lot more realistic but they are also a lot more subtle. I liked wargames stylized, almost cartoonish missile animations because it made it very clear where shit was being fired from.
No Random Canadian Special Units which don't actually/really exist... no thanks. Never took another look at Civilisation until VI, because of it & now no WARNO without this.
I understand why peps dont like WARNO , especially after Wargame/SD, but for me, this game is much more chill Maybe you should try to play in WARNO actual, it's mod
With Warno I kinda feel that if you try to think about it as wargame you are going to get frustrated every time (but it´s also impossible to not see that red dragon and even airland battle are superior in every way)
WARNO is just Wargame but better razz quit being an old man it’s 2025 just buy the dlc its more historically accurate thats what matters. Embrace the pain. Get good
Guys I watched all 56 minutes already. The tldr is he loves it and is never playing red dragon again
As a CH-53E Super Stallion i can confirm this
It's so Razzmover 😔
Red Dragon has fallen.
Billions must Warnow.
>immediately rolls worst map in the game
It’s a sign lmao
Real.

Did some Warno guy ask Razzmann to make a Warno video for 30 days straight or something or how did Razzmann get tricked into playing it?
NOT ME THIS TIME
I think the CV and zone gameplay is so much better in Warno but the units and deckbuilding are much more interesting in Wargame
it's different. Instead of choosing specializations (that mostly aren't really viable), you have multiple different decks with already picked specializations. I vastly prefer the WARNO approach, because it makes the game more balanced. And there is already a lot of decks to choose from.
You know, you could have just asked me and I'd have told you.
think of the content

Yup, that part of Eugen's WARNO story is hilarious.
I disagree, I need much less apm in warno than in wargame
sorry luddite, warno is the future
I never noticed just how bad the contrast is on the selected unit cards. Wow
11:17 speaking of questionable UI decisions, how is it that the bars for all the unit stats look even more random than they did in Wargame while also having the coloured number next to the bar look like a literal placeholder just dumped randomly on the screen?
Having a stroke, the chart.
In wargame I still build new decks
In warno Eugen still builds new decks
how many of these decks you build in wargame are competitive tho?
14:55 I'm not an expert on American or German military either, but as I understand it's basically Jäger : Panzergrenadier :: Light Riflemen : Riflemen
Jäger's are light infantry, but also are basis to Mountain and Paratrooper infantry.
Jägers operate independently with light armor and mechanization in areas that are unsuitable for heavy armor.

No, game is bad, in wargame also motorized units are good for opener
@@vuk0811 No, WARNO is great lol
10:45 HUUUUUUHHHH
So ironic, I just re-downloaded WARNO onto steam two days ago after being reminded of the big DLC. I’m going to give it another chance too.
Hell yeah warno video

Honestly, with the way your UI is configured, I wouldn't be able to play the game properly either.
Imo warno inf transport doesnt impact availability so that cards dont have so few inf
Inf per card is real low already
To add onto this, i think transport available is technically controlled through card availability, some transport only come with certain cards of infantry that's otherwise similar in stat. Added this comment to be cool
Why does the UI still look like they're in alpha?
would be cool to see you playing broken arrow, whenever that game comes out.
WARNO is just Wargame but better razz quit being an old man it’s 2025 just buy the dlc its more historically accurate thats what matters. Embrace the pain. Get good
a christmas wonder
I hope you play only Warno from now
Warno? My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
This comment section feels like a echo chamber
Because it is. Just like any other comment section. Most people come here for W:RD and nothing else. Of course they wont like it.
pretty much
Gameplay is better imo. But Eugens new no unicorn policy makes the divisions all somewhat similar/boring
this is simply not true lol
Come on man. Why dont you try playing it for a while to learn the game, before just saying its worse.
I am not saying it is worse. I am saying I don't enjoy it.
@@RazzmannWG imo nobody really enjoys ranked when they start playing, because till you learn the game, you suck and while it's not fun, it's normal
@50:20 Maybe the game have colorblind mode?
This is painful to watch. And to listen to. GIB MIR MORPHEUS
It's dogshit.
