So in essence what I need to do when a creeper is about to explode is, turn my back on him and begin to severely and continually tweark to assert dominance.
I have fear of hostile mobs when I'm playing alone. When I play with my friends or my cousin, I'm like "these bitches need some help", And roam around in the night without any fear. Once I got lost in a desert while playing with my cousin and I didn't have a compass. I managed to find my way without a bit of fear. On the other hand when I get lost in a desert while playing alone, I feel like I'm in some nightmare.
@@CaitlinJohnson-v8b omg I relate to this so much. When I was little I had REALLY bad anxiety and was terrified of hostile mobs. Now, I'm a lot better, but whenever I play I still hear that little girl inside of me freaking out.
@@CaitlinJohnson-v8b I’d recommend experiencing more games playing alone. Like not always asking someone to play with you, and eventually you’ll get the hang of it that’s how I did it any way. (Oh and if you didn’t know turn off the cave sounds bc IK when your in the caves and you hear the ambient sounds it’s scary.)
I've been playing Minecraft since I was very young, and I'm STILL afraid of them. I usually play on peaceful mode, and can barely survive on easy lol. Thank you for this video! It's very useful

It’s not the fear of hostile mob but the fear of being alone, years ago I used to be fearless but after seeing some herobrine story, I start to panic, anxious when alone in a cave

I was playing minecraft survival for the first time a few days ago and I went into the caves and I couldnt find ANY iron I said "Well the worst case senario is that I run into a spawner" .... I actually ran into a spawner. So then I tried to kill off the spiders from the spawner from far away but that doesnt actually work so I killed the spiders and quickly placed torches, WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS SHAKING. so then when I opened the chest all I found was a bunch of wheat, name tag, bucket but only ONE piece if Iron. And 2 discs. When I tell you I said "2 discs?! What is this TommyInnit arc?"

This video really helped! And it took my 8 freaking years to overcome that fear of a skeleton ,witch ,zombie etc. I literally looked this up while playing my smp and heard a witch lol
im not actually that scared of hostile mobs, the passive ones scare me the most, just watching me... creepy.. i kill them but i still feel like they are there, watching until I made a sheep farm and mass murdered every single sheep there. now i fear hostile mobs, im gonna twerk on ever creeper throwing them my valuables while doing everything in the video. should fix that :P

The spamming on bed during night is the most related to me . I always do that in my survival world. Once I saw a dark cave with three skeletons in it , I ran away with fear XD. Cant describe how afraid I am. 🤣🤣
Seriously thank you. The last time I played Minecraft was 5 years ago. So all the new sounds scared the living daylights out me. Like I was jumping at the sound of a grinder 🤣
What helped me back when I started playing minecraft was playing with a friend on our own bukkit server (I think it works best with a friend who you can rely on and who doesn't troll you). Having someone to help you with the mobs, or even just to talk to so you don't feel so alone, is rlly helpful. (To be fair, minecraft was a lot simpler back then and you had to get used to less mobs, but I think this would still work today)
I gained so much confidence to fear mobs after this video, now I will try the things you told me and try to overcome my fear of hostile mobs, I love this video so much and I subscribed to you and liked this video :)

I'll try this out, i really am scared of many mobs, but the thing is that axes break kinda easily, gonna try this out :D EDIT 1: I survived a night and it was kinda easy with an iron axe and I became better at PVP and doing crits and I feel more confident but I still need some more THIS WAS HELPFUL!

This might help if your going in caves at night or going out when it's night for some reason put your items in a chest or barrel so you won't lose your items. Then just bring a axe, iron pickaxe or any picaxe.
What I usually do is leave my stuff at my house and then I craft a new sword and new pickaxe so that I don’t lose my stuff if I die in lava or something!
Honestly, so little people know this video. And at least over half of Minecraft players have a fear of hostile mobs! Thank you for putting the time and effort into this video and providing us with a skill that we may have never known without your help.

Mister, I am glad that I found this vid. Within two days, I've become bold and brazen versus any mob I come across now. A zombie even rewarded the end of my sesssion with a potato, kek.
When I was younger my brother gave me his old Xbox with Minecraft on it but after looking at an enderman and hearing the noise as it teleported to me, I was so freaked out I shut the console off and was shaking 12 year old me didn’t know this sandbox was secretly a horror game, especially since I didn’t know the what this game was about Now when mobs surprise me, especially small fast ones like baby zombies in normal POV, I just feel constant anxiety and fear as if the memory of my first enderman just comes flashing back It’s not the fighting, but the surprise and jump scare of them just suddenly being in my face and their growls coming out of nowhere
Heres another tip if you find a village STAY AWAY! I personally tried this in a village TERRIBLE there was more zombies than me! im still trying so im gonna try again, but this video helped a lot and this was the only vid i saw on youtube Keep up the great work! and continue to help more peeps
Thanks so much, I followed this video and It seems to be working really well. I was always scared of mobs since I started playing Minecraft about 3 or 2 years ago, I've watched many many minecraft survival videos since about 2017 and when I got the game I was so excited to start playing but, I was too scared of the mobs so I set it on peaceful all the time. I made a decent world in peaceful, but it was boring. I quit minecraft for a while and then I found this video today. I tried out the tips, I feel much more confident. The only thing im insecure about is that I won't be able to get a bed in time to get my spawn point, or i'll go too far and loose my stuff if I die. Although, I love Minecraft and I'm ready to try overcome my fear of mobs. Thanks so much (this was so long omg)
i think you could bring a bed with you whenever you go on long adventures. that's what i do incase i don't make it back to my house aka one of the villager's houses i'm squatting in. that way i sleep through the night and also set a new spawn point incase i die i can go right back to get my stuff

I just started playing and I am so scared to go outside at night. I made my home next to a village so the iron giants can take care of every thing for me, but I want to get the resources the mobs drop and in general want to explore more so I'm very glad I found this video!
Usually comforting videos will literally make me puke...But this video was to help fear and fight back as if it's a different way of saying " Get used to the environment " Steve giving comfort and encouragement gives me a different feeling and the music just makes it warmer(?) No not simping for a Minecraft character obviously.. But when I was younger I had no fear and was so eager to the mobs and gave em A big BONK on the head but where did all that go? So, I just learned how to explore cave without fear last week, so how, you might ask First is to go on creative mode, get netherite armors, tools, enchantment table and an anvil, you have to enchant your netherite tools and armors so you will feel overpowered, and also get enchanted golden apples and night vision potion, after that, find a village and wait for it to be nighttime, when mobs spawn, just kill them and just do it again and again until you know how to kill skeletons, zombies, creepers and other mobs. Enter a cave with full enchanted netherite armor and drink your night vision potion and after you feel you know "ok" try it with torches instead of night vision potions, and again if you feel "ok" try it with no chestplate, and do it with no leggings, and no any armor instead of tools, and now try it with in survival, then thats it.
I have had minecraft since 2018 and I am always scared of mobs, so I always stopped playing minecraft for a large amount of time and then returned hoping I wouldn't get scared, and yet here I am watching this video out of desperation
I just watched and while I won't be able to go into the game for a couple of days (and am a little skeptical I'll be able to desensitize myself to dying; I freak out so much) I'm going to try because this video is both funny and kind and really well done (and well worth a sub). It’s nice to see that I am not the only one afraid of hostile mobs. I like playing Minecraft and want to dive deeper into it but my anxiety prevents me from doing so. I’ve had anxiety since I was young, but watching scary movies and watching others play scary games doesn’t scare me. I’m just afraid of being alone I guess 😅
The thing that scares me the most when playing on an easy world is the spooky cave sounds, I've been play minecraft for years and I haven't gotten over it
The Endermen have ALWAYS scared me, mainly because of how they can teleport anywhere, and there’s been times where I hear the teleport sound in my house, and I’m scared to look behind me, because the second I accidentally look at their eyes, it’s over.
Can i turn animations for endermen, spiders, cave spiders and wither skeletons off? Things that are taller or look like they will jump onto my face scares me Probably the australian factor that scares me of spiders it gets weaker every year
I've been playing Minecraft for 7 years and I've had the combat book for much longer. I'm still scared of mobs in survival. EDIT: More specifically, it started as a fear of Minecraft Spiders, then it grew into a fear of Endermen as well. I can't really enjoy Minecraft survival without a friend, which doesn't always happen. But hey. It could be worse lol. I don't find cave sounds terrifying or anxiety inducing.
When you said mob sounds are the only scary thing in minecraft I totally agreed. I was in a cave today and when I saw a few creepers i killed them really easily then I heard a zombie and I was like "Ya maybe I should go back to base."

my least fav mobs are skeletons and spiders… i do like zombies though since I feel so powerful but I’m trying to gain confidence so I can win against any mob
I used to be scared of Ghasts but not anymore, it’s just the noises that creep me out. There is only one mob now that I fear, but I don’t see this being very common, and that’s Silverfish. I’ve noticed one person comment that there is that feeling they could appear anywhere and honestly, I can relate, it’s so true. 😭 You have Endermites being similar, but they’re not long and don’t slither as strange as them. I remember playing realms, and random mobs spawned out of nowhere (since some realm mod was put on), and I hear a weird hissing noise outside my base. I go up the ladder to the outside part of my base, then I see a silverfish slithering across the area, but doesn’t go after me because I’m not in my detection range. I run outside and quit the game, asking for someone to take care of it for me. 😂 I even avoid beating the Ender Dragon simply because of the strongholds and the fact silverfish are usually there.
I play Questcraft, so I have to pay attention to what's around me more than the average player. Imagine having no torches and mining stairs upwards to escape a cave, turning around, and seeing a zombie right next to you. Safe to say I screamed that evening.
Out of all the mobs, endermen have to be the scariest. The sound they make when they die, and their mouths open so… open AND THEY TELEPORT TOO. scary devils
I hope this helps you if your scared of losing your items before making a world you go to game rules when starting to do it and scroll down you will see "Keep inventory after death" and put it to on now even if you die you will still have your stuff with u

And if you’re scared of the cave sounds just go to settings reduce the ambient/cave volume if u turn it to 0% the cave/ambient sound is gone!

@@fourtyfoursky7911 build a 3 by 3 two high platform. Endermen are too tall to fit in such spaces and can't touch you.
Press F5 and get the coordinates(cuz) of you while in your base, and if you get lost, go to those coordinates.

When I was younger my brother gave me his old Xbox with Minecraft on it but after looking at an enderman and hearing the noise as it teleported to me, I was so freaked out I shut the console off and was shaking
12 year old me didn’t know this sandbox was secretly a horror game, especially since I didn’t know the what this game was about
Now when mobs surprise me, especially small fast ones like baby zombies in normal POV, I just feel constant anxiety and fear as if the memory of my first enderman just comes flashing back
It’s not the fighting, but the surprise and jump scare of them just suddenly being in my face and their growls coming out of nowhere

Thanks so much, I followed this video and It seems to be working really well. I was always scared of mobs since I started playing Minecraft about 3 or 2 years ago, I've watched many many minecraft survival videos since about 2017 and when I got the game I was so excited to start playing but, I was too scared of the mobs so I set it on peaceful all the time. I made a decent world in peaceful, but it was boring. I quit minecraft for a while and then I found this video today. I tried out the tips, I feel much more confident. The only thing im insecure about is that I won't be able to get a bed in time to get my spawn point, or i'll go too far and loose my stuff if I die. Although, I love Minecraft and I'm ready to try overcome my fear of mobs. Thanks so much (this was so long omg)
i think you could bring a bed with you whenever you go on long adventures. that's what i do incase i don't make it back to my house aka one of the villager's houses i'm squatting in. that way i sleep through the night and also set a new spawn point incase i die i can go right back to get my stuff

I ahve been playing for 3 years and I still stay away 50 blocks for the caves. When i hear a zombie that is not even there I scream and might quit the game :D

A tip is that even if you die and your item despawn you can still get the same loot you lost since it not limited

Usually comforting videos will literally make me puke...But this video was to help fear and fight back as if it's a different way of saying " Get used to the environment " Steve giving comfort and encouragement gives me a different feeling and the music just makes it warmer(?) No not simping for a Minecraft character obviously.. But when I was younger I had no fear and was so eager to the mobs and gave em A big BONK on the head but where did all that go? So, I just learned how to explore cave without fear last week, so how, you might ask
First is to go on creative mode, get netherite armors, tools, enchantment table and an anvil, you have to enchant your netherite tools and armors so you will feel overpowered, and also get enchanted golden apples and night vision potion, after that, find a village and wait for it to be nighttime, when mobs spawn, just kill them and just do it again and again until you know how to kill skeletons, zombies, creepers and other mobs. Enter a cave with full enchanted netherite armor and drink your night vision potion and after you feel you know "ok" try it with torches instead of night vision potions, and again if you feel "ok" try it with no chestplate, and do it with no leggings, and no any armor instead of tools, and now try it with in survival, then thats it.
If it works for you, congrats ! I would not recommend this method though.

It’s nice to see that I am not the only one afraid of hostile mobs. I like playing Minecraft and want to dive deeper into it but my anxiety prevents me from doing so. I’ve had anxiety since I was young, but watching scary movies and watching
others play scary games doesn’t scare me. I’m just afraid of being alone I guess 😅

The thing that scares me the most when playing on an easy world is the spooky cave sounds, I've been play minecraft for years and I haven't gotten over it
The Endermen have ALWAYS scared me, mainly because of how they can teleport anywhere, and there’s been times where I hear the teleport sound in my house, and I’m scared to look behind me, because the second I accidentally look at their eyes, it’s over.

I hadn't felt a fear in Minecraft in so long. Then, I played Better Than Adventure and was terrified of the headless skeletons
I think hostile mobs spawning in the caves is much scarier than in the night
I've been playing Minecraft for 7 years and I've had the combat book for much longer. I'm still scared of mobs in survival.
EDIT: More specifically, it started as a fear of Minecraft Spiders, then it grew into a fear of Endermen as well. I can't really enjoy Minecraft survival without a friend, which doesn't always happen.
But hey. It could be worse lol. I don't find cave sounds terrifying or anxiety inducing.

When you said mob sounds are the only scary thing in minecraft I totally agreed. I was in a cave today and when I saw a few creepers i killed them really easily then I heard a zombie and I was like "Ya maybe I should go back to base."
I will leave game basically every time I see any mobs including bats EVEN WHEN IM ON CHEATS AND KEEP INVENTORY

my least fav mobs are skeletons and spiders… i do like zombies though since I feel so powerful but I’m trying to gain confidence so I can win against any mob
I used to be scared of Ghasts but not anymore, it’s just the noises that creep me out. There is only one mob now that I fear, but I don’t see this being very common, and that’s Silverfish. I’ve noticed one person comment that there is that feeling they could appear anywhere and honestly, I can relate, it’s so true. 😭 You have Endermites being similar, but they’re not long and don’t slither as strange as them.
I remember playing realms, and random mobs spawned out of nowhere (since some realm mod was put on), and I hear a weird hissing noise outside my base. I go up the ladder to the outside part of my base, then I see a silverfish slithering across the area, but doesn’t go after me because I’m not in my detection range. I run outside and quit the game, asking for someone to take care of it for me. 😂
I even avoid beating the Ender Dragon simply because of the strongholds and the fact silverfish are usually there.
I play Questcraft, so I have to pay attention to what's around me more than the average player. Imagine having no torches and mining stairs upwards to escape a cave, turning around, and seeing a zombie right next to you. Safe to say I screamed that evening.

Out of all the mobs, endermen have to be the scariest. The sound they make when they die, and their mouths open so… open AND THEY TELEPORT TOO. scary devils
I hope this helps you if your scared of losing your items before making a world you go to game rules when starting to do it and scroll down you will see "Keep inventory after death" and put it to on now even if you die you will still have your stuff with u

I just lose all my confidence if I see that I have like a wooden/stone stone whenever a job comes along. If I had like a diamond sword I could never be scared
