but yeah this was super self indulgent because i really like painting faces and im just starting to get into overwatch :] i may do the guys' faces in the future depending on the response to this video

ahhh this is fantastic!! the fact that you paid attention to the little details like tracer's tan lines, mei's dimples, and subtle differences in their expressions makes it all the better omg I love this so much

what always makes me wonder is these artists always make outline but as they coloured the drawing, the outline slowly dissapear or blended into the colour. i don't really know. can some one tell me how to create such outline? were the outline-layer placed in the very top of the other layers or the very bottom? or did u actually colour the drawing in the same layer as the outline-layer?
first you draw out the sketch; no need to make the lines very neat. then you make a new layer, put it under the sketch layer and apply the base color, shadows, and lighting. then you merge the two layers together and blend!

thanks ! i tried to vary them a bit more because the facial diversity in the actual game is kind of disappointing since the rest of their designs are so diverse
