- Top Flite Taurus designed by Ed Kazmirski being flown around at Columbus Aero RC Club located in Orient, Ohio by Vice-President Matthew Prachar. Aircraft built by Williams Nichols. This one has won two static competitions in the past. Build video also on my channel. Thanks for watching!
I remember when my father took me to the flying field back in the early 70's......the .60 size pattern planes were the most popular and so beautiful......
Our (dads) first rc plane was the Keil Kraft Super 60 which we both trained on then the Top Flite Tauri powered by a Merco 35 red head, which I believe was the mid wing version of the Taurus. For my dads 90th birthday, I searched the net for another Tauri and found an owner of an unbuilt kit believe it or not in USA and he agreed to sell it to me here in Scotland - so that was about 6-7 years ago. I found a Merco 35 red head on eBay and flew the plane once while dad was still around. It only ever flew that one time and it hangs in my garage still. Any videos of a Tauri out there?
Vers nice flights and perfectly working engine😀
fast wie das alte rc1 programm😊
Tremendous vid....what engine is spinning that prop....sounds terrific
The engine is a OS 46 SF and the prop is a Graupner Super Nylon 11x6 , running on 10 percent nitro.
Are you doing the F3A classic pattern there?
No, if anything it was practicing different maneuvers for Class III of the Vintage RC Society.
