Get a good UPS, it will save you money in the end. Universal Power Supply. Not only will it protect in a surge issue, but the battery will keep your machine up for a little bit.
Thank you for stopping by the shop bro! It was a full circle moment for me from starting my business because of your videos to working together 💪 appreciate you bro!
I have a friend with a vending business in northwest PA. He is not a large operation, but he's had the same clients for decades. When I worked for him he told me in the vending business newer isn't always better. Most of his stuff was semi modern, but he had an old Pepsi machine from the early 70s in his yard that he maintained 24/7/365. $0.25c per pop. Took a loss on every can, Only the locals and kids new about it. Unfortunately he's way past retirement and he's looking to get out of the business.
safe to say the lightning fried the motherboard or short circuited it and probably fried anything that was connected to it sadly lol but I’m sure replacing the boards and systems is cheaper than buying a new machine
Not sure if they have any but maybe they sell surge protectors specifically for higher end machines like yours and hypothetically that should protect it if it ever happens again. Consider looking into it
I was just thinking today about dropping my business to go do this but then i realized, every where im going to struggle. No matter where I go, is the build up that matter & how the boss handles it
Welcome to the world of Business Ownership. The business owns you - not the other way around. Clients will call you anytime of day & night so I recall a few calls from customers in the early hours telling me that they did not get the right change. Another time waster - BUT they are a customer & this was no different than working in the restaurant industry - a diner wanting more coffee demands as much attention as seating the next table. A quick turn around makes the customer happy. Well Done !!!!
Yoo no way thanks for responding, I just wanted to say your really one of my role models, I currently have 4 operating machines in four different locations
The motherboard probably has been overloaded with power so has 1 or 2 fried chips on it. If you had an infrared camera you could connect motherboard to power in a darkroom and look thru the infrared camera which will show up hotspots which are the cause of issues
What app do you use to see what products need stocking? You showed the app on the laundry vending machine video, but didn't see the name or what app it was
hi great video i got a royal 650 I replaced the mother board, the door switch, and every time I push the button to program it, it does nothing. Any thoughts?
@ 250+ machines 7 years doing it and I’ve never once not filled it. The only thing it changes is IF it sells out that week you now lose every other sale that would have occurred.
I guess I need to start using surge protectors...
This comment spoiled the whole video
Definitely would be worth it

Don’t cheap out on surge protectors, you’re in Texas, not far from us! The weather can be brutal!
you need to start using those. maybe you need to start using dollar coins.

Yeah I learned my lesson lol, this is not the first time they lose power so 100% I'm going to use a surge protector
Paying in 1’s have to be criminal 😂😂 6:40

Exactly!! 💯
Good luck to you Jamie from the 🇬🇧 😊
Love the work you do bro keep the videos coming 🔥
Appreciate it
This is why you invest in a surge protector because it is a lifesaver
Need a follow-up on that machine. No insurance on your equipment?
I do have insurance! I'm calling them tomorrow to see if they can reimburse me
I just don't want my rate to go up

I've been watching you for YEARSS....... how did I miss that you're in the DFW area?! I moved here almost two years ago lol
Yep, I know the feeling we had to buy a surge protector for our as well
5:17 "What do you mean. We're in the same business" 😂😂😂
GFCI outlet would work as a surge protector too
W editor
LOL, "Edgar."
Regard from El salvador bro, I am a huge fans of your content
This man literally inspired me to start a gumball machine at the age of 12. Mad respect.
Same.
Keep at it! 🔥

@@jaimeibanezzAny advice?
You gotta treat your business like a plumber stairs there’s always supplies to fix the issues or at least have parts available the same day delivery

didnt know you were still around
Put a webcam on the vending machine
That would be a good video lol
Why you don’t put surge protectors? So it protect your machines from being fried?
Good stuff
where did you get that red bull jacket from?
hi great video i got a royal 650 I replaced the mother board, the door switch, and every time I push the button to program it, it does nothing. Any thoughts?
love your vids
🙏🔥
How many vending machines do you own if don't mind me asking ?
Damn 4 hours 😭 That’s like driving from Seattle,WA to Portland, Oregon which is 2 hours 30 minutes ride down & back if there’s no traffic.
You can drive 10 hours straight and still be in Texas 😂
Why not install a commercial base surge plugs ?
But may I ask a question. Since that company got struck by lightning shit in their insurance pay for your equipment. Just wondering
Technically yes... But in our contract, I stated that I'm in charge of all repairs
Try vending in Canada 🍁
Plus you spent money on gas from Dallas to san antonio. Those little things count
Pagas a alguien para transportar tus máquinas a las nuevas locaciones??
Why are you not filling up your coils and leaving rows empty? Chucking away money.
You never fill the coils to the very back, UNLESS that item is selling out before the next service visit
@ 250+ machines 7 years doing it and I’ve never once not filled it. The only thing it changes is IF it sells out that week you now lose every other sale that would have occurred.
If the snack machine still doesn't get fixed after your next attempt, try making it into a fish tank.
Hope you have insurance to cover these kinds of set backs
Does insurance cover stuff like that?
Hi my friend I like your videos and motivated me to start this business can u help me what best machine for snacks and drinks to buy thank u
Id put a bed in the warehouse, so when im exhausted, id just sleep there haha
Haha I got a couch for that reason
Trust me I've heavily considered that 😂
Hi 🎉🎉🎉
Hey!
Like i said few yrs back its not worth it how much profit u make adding all expenses
Why didn't Edgar meet half way? Two hours each..... You don't ask, you don't get...
Bernie in Sydney
hope you had insurance on it
Do you pay ppl to put your machines on location? Or do they let you put it there for free?
I only pay one business
@jaimeibanezz that's dope! Appreciate your response 💪🏽💯
$7000??? DANG! THATS PRICY
They even go up to $10,000 🤯🤯
2500 for a 3575 not bad, I love my two that I have wish I could find more for that price
Yeah amazing deal! They are the easiest machines to use
