Will you be doing Green Lantern's Volume 2? I got both volumes (when the second came out) because of your volume 1 video and would love to see your guys opinion on it
I'm sad to hear that they just shove the regular Batfamily into the very end of the book. I was kinda digging the idea of a weird alt-universe Batfamily made up of Batman, Killer Croc, Catwoman, and Spec-Ops Alfred.
I took the last few pages of the book as "We're not doing any more of these so let's squeeze as much as we can of this Batman's history into the end of this volume"
Geoff Johns and Gary Frank both said this wasn’t intended to be the end and were surprised that it was announced as the end of the trilogy. So much was thrown in at the end.

honestly, i think the whole thing of the Bat Family forming at the end would have worked if this was the last book. The Joker reveal ruins that. I think the best option for Vol 3, especially as a finale, would have been to go with something closer to Long Halloween or Hush where part of the dynamic is that these unhinged, esoteric criminals are spawning at a rate faster than Batman can handle them. You could even keep a lot of the existing elements that were here, Two Face could still be someone at play even a major mover in events. But have the focus more on how these events are snowballing. The absolute WORST criminals are seeing how having a "gimmick" can earn you instant cred. The "old school" gangsters are just getting out of dodge because these maniacs make "stable" criminal enterprises impossible. And everyone's chasing headlines. Maybe even have a whole subplot about "So what happens when all the people who were paying off the crooked cops closes shop and the checks stop coming?" All the cops with outstanding debts to the gangsters suddenly have ALL their markers called in. Cops who we know are shady as hell are now left desperate. And that's on top of The Ventriloquist, Killer Moth, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Clayface, and a dozen other villains all jumping into the scene within, like, a 6 month time span.
