To answer Tiff's questions regarding Mr Bones's lungs, inhalation, etc: he's not really all bones. It's just his skin and organs are transparent. His skin is also covered in cyanide!

A forgettable story and without a doubt: a product of its time. lol. On the flip side: Bloodlines made for yet another outstanding episode of Back Issues 🤣
Tiff rocking the hat and getting shocked at all the magic characters appearing in this books is great.
The closest we'll ever get to seeing snowflame mentioned on back issues. Already one of my favorite episodes now.

These stories are the stories of my childhood. I loved all of it. Now the constant changes DC makes on an almost 2 year basis is crazy. But I loved this as a kid. This brings me back to those days flipping through the comics rack in my local drug store. All backed by nostalgia, I know, but oh so good to me.
Mr. Bones was a popular character featured in Infinity Inc.. Infinity Inc. got screwed over by the Crisis wiping out their JSA Legacy. They must have been trying to fit Mr. Bones in somewhere. He' still hanging around the DECU.
They tried big time last year during Infinite Frontier!
There was actually a story about the third army where the guardians go crazy and try to kill everyone
This episode was a delight. Made a bad work day so much better!

Because they're pre established characters and actually matter. The best and worst part of the new age of heroes is that they don't matter. It means it don't have to bother us when reading books we want to read, but it means no one will care because those characters aren't important
I nearly choked when Tiffany ask if Wally speaks louder, just because he doesn´t know how to speak a language, and by the way why can´t wally who is a flash learns super fast how to speak another language, he was the flash he could do that.
Crazy thing is the shade given to infinity inc, Outsiders, Tera and geoforce but in the new Young Justice, they actually made them great 😂

What's the origin of "Pie Face?"
Hal gave Tom the nickname Pie Face during the 1960s era because Tom is an Inuit (or as they called them back then - an Eskimo) and Hal thought he looked like the kid on the "Eskimo Pie" box. Eskimo Pie was a brand of chocolate covered ice cream treats.
Nowadays, Hal just calls him Tom, and they like to pretend none of that other stuff ever happened.
I only heard of Millennium because of a dollar issue I picked up last year. It was on a banner atop "Secret Origins of Floronic Man and Guardians of the Universe"

Lovechild of Spawn and Black Terror, Mr. Bones was a character created 4 of 5 years too early, had he been been around between 91-94 he'd would have his own movie franchise today.

Oh, I was wondering what happened in this book. All I knew about it is how the event affected the 80's Suicide Squad(Nightshade Odyssey book) I have. That and Millenium is responsible for the "New Guardians" book which is responsible for SNOWFLAME. The villain that gets his power from cocaine. I love AT4W. Now to listen to you guys.
I laughed really hard several times during this episode. This event was so damn bad it became good.
While the story may not be #TiffyFresh, that hat certainly is.
Love this show. I binge it at work everyday. Random Q but have you guys ever read Invincible by Kirkman? Personally I think its the best continuous story I've ever read in comics. No stupid reboots(almost but they didnt do it) and the writing remains consistently great until just before the ending where he kinda rushed everything together. I'd love to see a episode of back issues on it if you guys liked the story

I can't remember where I read it, but Mr. Bones can breath cause he technically has organs and stuff, they're just invisible? Which I guess is an interesting way to get around the problems of skeleton anatomy

I also love how this came out before Secret Invasion, but I love that it comes off like a half assed rip off of Secret Invasion.
I love back issues on these forgettable DC events from the 80s and 90s
I got one issue of this series in a comic book grab back (back in the day 10 issues for real cheap but you didn't know of what...and I never knew what the real story was. Now I do...and...meh.

I know it's funny to be flippant, and yeah, the story has problems, but credit has to go to how closely knit they made the continuity.
In fact, like the checklist says, you read each issue then all of the tie-ins, to really enjoy it.

So Sal has never realized that there are lots of tie ins that are important. It’s a book wide crossover.
You're mistaking having a problem with tie ins for not understanding their role. But we did explain that in the episode.
ComicPOP I mean I hate useless tie ins, but sometimes understanding that some tie ins that have story impact, but also have a multi book promotional ideal. Someone just reading Batman might read millennium(( or hopefully a better event.)) because of a tie in or might be reading the event and read books they weren’t reading before because of said tie in.
