Bought a used boat. I don't have any instructions, so this is very helpful. Never did any remote control manuvering but it's great entertainment but very frustrating when things are bass ackwards. Haven't figured out what is best used for for sheet and outhaul lines.
No need to have slip lnot because you never want that knot to come out or be undone. I make big knot and put tiny bit of superglue because i dont want lnot to pull thru hole which has happened to me a couple times
Another fabulously informative video.👏You used lines to tie sail to mast instead of clips that were supplied and said it doesn’t make much difference. It seems like clips would be easier to do. Why do you prefer tying the sail to mast with those tiny knots? Thank you 🙏🏻⛵️
no real difference but I can tie them just a tiny bit closer to mast than the metal fittings, I tie the top and bottom grommets a little looser than the others which drops the draft aft a tic on the bottom of may nasal and makes the top swivel better for running and on light air gybes. it’s never happened to me but I worry the jib topping lift may catch one of those metal things.

Excellent job!
Why only make a large knot at the bosy vs tie a slip knot?

@@BuenoSailing I am guessing using line might also avoid corrosion of the fittings in salt water environments.
