I agree with @woodwind1335. I'm building my first RC sailboat, a DF95, and am looking forward to getting out on the water. I've raced lots of one design sportboats and the first time you setup and tune the rig before a race, it's slow going. With a little demonstration and help from your competitors, the race preparation becomes easier and faster. Your series helped all of your viewers, build the DF95 more quickly and without making as many mistakes as would have occurred with just the written directions. Thank you for producing this series and helping all of us walk through the steps.

Thanks SO much for these concise and calm videos. Building two DF95s…this has been such a help!! Nice to have chill background music. CHEERS!!!

You need to revisit the Class rules, both C &D rigs attach through deck eye 2!!!

You are indeed correct, I’m not entirely sure if that is something that has changed since I made the video or if I just got it wrong from the beginning. Your the first to notice, so thanks and I will think about how I can address the error. 😊

Thanks so much for the Vid. With just the Manual i would be lost.

It's been in place from the beginning. I've only just seen your videos, I would have commented earlier sorry. Good info I'll watch the rest.

Thanks for the vid, i had built the easier Df65, but the jib rigging on the 95 confused me

Hi. The water can get in in a few likely places. The deck eyes if not glued in, the deck hatch if not taped properly, the rudder gaiter or the rear bung. If all of those are good then the next likely place is around the keel box, they are prone to cracking there, especially if the keel has been strained or knocked.

I find that tie down far to complicated. I simple tied the boom down to the proper high and brought the line through deck rings and tighted down {Ring near mast) using a bowsie loop. I strong and rarely need to adjust. My guess is I will get "That is against the rules".

If you are racing outside of your home club then I guess you are correct, you will get that comment 😉 Enjoy!
