  • Coming from a renowned fighting clan, Umar Nurmagomedov exhibits a completely different “style of smashing” in the cage. He has already burst into the bantamweight top-15 and is triumphantly following in the footsteps of his big brother, Khabib. Today we break down the career arc of the undefeated Dagestani prospect, who may soon become a rightful challenger for the UFC title.

I can’t find a way to send you a PM so although this comment section is about Umar (loved the video!) I would love to suggest Ramon Dekkers or Kaman, or possibly a shared video with the two Dutch kickboxers. I love your style and depth of investigation, your narration and editing and I’m dying to find out how a tribute to both of them would look like!
Keep it up! You came out of nowhere and deserve a million more subscribers.

I came from the year 3012 just to look back at the beginning of the strongest clan in existence. The Nurmagomedov. In my time they dominate the universe. They can spit fireballs, shoot laser from their eyes and fly at the speed of light. When a new Nurmagomedov is born the universe trembles and everyone can feel the overwhelming pressure of a new Nurmagomedov. Even as babies they eat blackholes. They are the ultimate singularities. Incomprehensible. Invincible. Phenomenon.

The way he moves, he can distribute his weight like khabib but EVERYWHERE! Khabib a master with weight distribution when it comes to wrestling but striking he wasn't anywhere near as graceful, this kid is!
I'm not joking, this kid might become he best mixed martial artist of our day! I honestly hadn't watched him this closely, I knew he was good but I didn't know he was this good!

Wrestling has been their traditional national sport for centuries. It back-fired on the UFC giving wrestlers an advantage with the rule set. (they did this to give Americans an advantage as wrestling is popular in America, much more common than striking, and top strikers in America do boxing) Now the Dagestan's etc have rounded out their game with strong striking to add to the elite wrestling base. There have always been many Olympic gold medal wrestlers from this region, despite it's relatively low population.
