Khabib's main criticism for being the GOAT was that his UFC title defenses were less than other champions. But damn.. the amount of potential champions he went through in his early days to secure 29-0 is no joke. Still the GOAT for me, the dominance in everything he's won is insane.
Khabib is nowhere close to GOAT contention. GOAT for lightweight yes, not overall. He had 3 UFC title defenses. Anderson Silva had 10, GSP 9, Demetrious 11, Jon Jones 11. Could Khabib have defended the title 10 or more times? Maybe, but we won't ever know. It's like declaring Adesanya the GOAT if he had retired in 2021 with his 3rd title defense against Vettori. At that point Adesanya was undefeated in MMA, other than one loss at a higher weight class against Jan at 205. Khabib never moved up a weight class, so if we focus on just on Adesanya's MW fights, he would have been in a similar spot record-wise to Khabib.
@@shoakimoto2517 and who made title defenses the only criteria for being the best?! I've recently seen a photo for the face of Habib after every ufc fight, as if he was at a jurny, not a scratch, he was the most dominant fighter ever.

After watching this video, it's so obvious that Khabib has a conditioning, mental attitude, balls and training ethics unequaled by anyone else. No wonder UFC guys, and everyone before them, just couldn't hang with his constant pressure. I heard him say something to the effect that, "Americans are dangerous for the first two rounds..." yeah, after that they are gassed. I like Connor, but I don't think he would have ever recovered from his loss to Khabib, and beat him in a potential future rematch. Khabib works everyone to death. He is a tough dude, that didn't let women, alcohol, drugs, money or other recreational things distract him. Thanks for the memories.
Amazing journey for khabib, he is physical and mentally strong since young... he never shown his weakness Thanks for putting together his record in 1 video
Half way through the video and the evidence only reconfirms that when he told Dana, immediately after winning a fight that he could fight the entire rest of the division that same night and beat them all, he wasn't bragging nor joking, he was speaking from experience, honestly and confidently. No bs, just real facts and a level unheard of and certainly unseen by the UFC ever! Everyone in the UFC prepares for months for that one fight, Khabib comes from a place where they prepare for multiple fights in one day. A whole different level of performance!
I mean.. what can I say? The best documentary for khabib or my feeling seeing khabib.. dude this is just beyond crazy. Thank you just thank you for this.
He is the only one to never bleed or bruise. Plus he’s undefeated and nobody wanted a rematch with him for good reason. His dominance is so repetitive. His striking was actually great and very effective. His defense was best ever. His fight IQ was on another level.
@@omegamanGXE yeah he got his ass kicked but that’s irrelevant and it’s not the point, guys who say this guy and that guy don’t deserve it are pusssies. If mcgreggor won I bet their would’ve been a rematch.
Khabib is just crazy. His pace and endurance is nasty and never lets up. These are all high-level athletes he's faced and none of them could keep up. He's really a special breed.
NOT EVEN CLOSE! , statistically and objectively he isn’t the best ,take a look at his opponents , most of them are negative and unknown and he fights trash cans , and fought a few good fighters and got scared and ran off and retired , he’s a fraud he missed weight, lost to tiabu, he has a padded record and dodged nate diaz , tony ferguson , and jon jones has more title fights than this bum khabib has fights in the ufc 🤣🤣🤣 13 fights in 9 years isnt a good thing bud , khabib is a incomplete fighter also , only wrestling that’s it.his record is extremely padded. Before he got into the ufc with a record of 16-0, he has absolutely NO SIGNIFICANT WINS. He only fought cans outside the UFC, with records like 41-38, 8-4, or even 3-6. He padded his record with fast food workers, tony is Khabib's nightmare bro, he wants to engage in the ground game with Tony, since they get elbowed from the bottom, or submitted. Instead of trying to get up like all of Khabib's opponents, Tony would actually engage in Khabib's grappling. What would happen is very debatable, but it is Khabib who left it up for debate. He retired after pulling out of the Tony fight 3 TIMES. This should make it clear that Khabib doesn't want to risk his record for Tony. The only person you can compare Khabib's record to, is Israel Adesanya. Both have 2-3 title defenses, both undefeated, both demolished their opponents as they climbed up the rankings. I don't see why Khabib should be rated above Israel Adesanya. Only difference is Adesanya didn't pad his record with cans before joining the UFC.
Khabib not only beat his opponents he make them look like an ameture, thats how dominent he was..No one in the ufc was able to give him a competitive fight..He is on the next level..
Khabib is simply the best in & out of the cage & mats. What an honourable fighter & champion. It's beautiful to witness this in our lifetime. We love you & you are missed. All the best khabib. Mashaa Allah walhamdulillah!
Towards the end in UFC he got less vicious but had more finishes. Personally I think the way he fought Michael Johnson and Barbosa is more scary than any of his title fights, where he submitted the opponents.
Before he get the belt he was ferocious. After the belt he was more relax compare to what he does to tavares, mj, barboza, tibau. Except connor between dustin and justin. It justified 😅
@@NawazaahrI miss when he just wanted to pound his opponents for all rounds. He was a complete savage. Khabib walked through everything thrown at him. Calling his a savage still doesn’t explain how dominant he was. He always had full control of every opponent he’s ever had. Never been in trouble. He was always minutes ahead of his opponents. It’s like he traveled back in time and knew exactly how to play the game. His fight IQ is best over ever seen. His confidence is highest in the sport. Islam is also amazing, but he’s no Khabib.
He's fought through the entire Russian competition where grappling is on a different level compared to in US, not to mention excellent strikers too. No wonder he breezed through UFC as well.
My favourite fighter ever and I only discovered him when he fought conor mcgregor. I learnt a lot from watching the build up and the eventual fight. This man is special and it is not just his fighting. it is everything about how he conducts himself and approaches his fights. a true Martial artist
As an experienced figher myself I can see why Khabib is winning everything. It is that fire whats inside him, it is visible that he is ready to die but not loose. No opponent will ever beat a man with that spirit inside no matter how strong he is. Also that is why you can see a lot of Russians are dominating in fights, it is all about that warrior spirit
Not only spirit , verygood skill also . Khabib dont really rush like an idiot . He always got something in mind when he tries his things ....cant say the same about most of ufc fighters i've seen . They got their gameplan but they also got big EGO and sometimes they do stupid things that make them loose . Khabib also really got very good eyes . Sometimes he s throwing his punches like wtf nonsense but 3/4 of times it touch the target. And poeple really made fun of his striki ng skills but it still hit everybody😂😂😂. This dude a beast
Sambo is sooooo intense, it is wayyy brutal than all the other fighting arts. Khabib in his youth is insanely aggressive with technical skill, whoever said he is only a "bjj" style needs to see this.
Those "regional" fighters, who by the way were to become champions in various promotions (Bagov in ACA, Eldarov in Brave, Shamhalaev in Bellator), and who, majority of them, had either combat sambo or wrestling accolades, gave Khabib more problems than the best UFC fighters in his division. I'm positive that prime Bagov would be top3 UFC, his grappling was crazy.

One of the most overlooked things about Khabib was his ability to take hits and still be standing or getting back up. And I never saw anyone hurt him visibly! He was relentless!
Main reason why I think he’s the goat is he took the least amount of damage during his UFC career. Was smart like GSP and capitalized on the none existent MMA wrestling in the UFC. 😊
For those who call Khabib's pre-Ufc opponents bums, Any of that bums could be at least good gatekeepers in big promotions like Ufc and Bellator, if they had opportunity, Caucasian fighters had very little chance to make it to big promotions until Khabib brought tons eyes to that region
Interesting that even in his own training world he was incredibly dominant. It’s not just about where he’s from and his training. His is special among his peers.
No fighter will ever match Khabib in this generation. He is not only a great fighter but a very devoted and humble person. We have to learn a lot from him in every aspect of life.

After watching this, it is undeniable. Khabib would never lose to anyone at 155 in the history of the UFC roster and I don't think anybody will ever be able to stop someone like that. It's literally impossible. This guy was built different with a different mindset, unwavering discipline and pursuit for constant self-improvement and learning. How the heck would anyone stop this guy at his weight class? It's impossible. This guy isn't just the GOAT but he is also a legend that will be remembered for years to come (like Muhammed Ali). He is the Muhammed Ali of MMA and the greatest fighter I have ever seen with the most spectacular career (in terms of dominance he has displayed in all his matches). This guy is a living legend and we are lucky to have experienced his era in our lifespan. Hats off to the epitome of perfection 🎩 🙏

Simply put together, excellent son, fighter and human.
Khabib's main criticism for being the GOAT was that his UFC title defenses were less than other champions. But damn.. the amount of potential champions he went through in his early days to secure 29-0 is no joke. Still the GOAT for me, the dominance in everything he's won is insane.
lets be honest here a lot of his early oponents has negative w/l record
@@nelocast190 So what? It's not like they were rookies. Most of them were/could be champions.
@@SHAAAaaaOLiiiiN no
Khabib is nowhere close to GOAT contention.

Amazing journey for khabib, he is physical and mentally strong since young... he never shown his weakness
Thanks for putting together his record in 1 video
Half way through the video and the evidence only reconfirms that when he told Dana, immediately after winning a fight that he could fight the entire rest of the division that same night and beat them all, he wasn't bragging nor joking, he was speaking from experience, honestly and confidently. No bs, just real facts and a level unheard of and certainly unseen by the UFC ever! Everyone in the UFC prepares for months for that one fight, Khabib comes from a place where they prepare for multiple fights in one day. A whole different level of performance!
That's how that UFC tournament used to be. It clearly wasn't as good as the current way of doing things or they wouldn't have changed it

Khabib was a serious finisher before ufc
Towards the end in UFC he got less vicious but had more finishes. Personally I think the way he fought Michael Johnson and Barbosa is more scary than any of his title fights, where he submitted the opponents.
Before he get the belt he was ferocious. After the belt he was more relax compare to what he does to tavares, mj, barboza, tibau. Except connor between dustin and justin. It justified 😅
When he came to ufc, I studied his past fights. After days of research, I picked him as my future underdog. What an amazing journey it has been.
@@NawazaahrI miss when he just wanted to pound his opponents for all rounds. He was a complete savage. Khabib walked through everything thrown at him. Calling his a savage still doesn’t explain how dominant he was.
