As awful as the season finale was, Gosei essentially screaming “MORPH!” At the rangers over and over was legit shocking because it was so out of character for him
Yeah, thinking back. That scene alone, does honestly so something to show how powerful the armada was. If the mentor figure of a ranger team screams for you to morph, you know something is about to happen.
Gosei: rangers, your ability to not die in battle has earned you a new power. Gosei: Rangers, your ability to function like a human beings has earned you a new power. Troy: where is mine?
@@luishernandezsoto more like mannerisms. As I recall, Troy just yells out orders and bland nothing's. Connor McKnight had more respect for his ranger team, and he originally only cared for soccer.
Fun fact: Metal Alice has the same name she did in Goseiger; however, her counterpart actually fired missiles from her breasts. Basically, it was called a G Cup Buster.
@@luishernandezsoto because of your kindness and willing to protect the earth, you have been granted a new ultra mode with a new ultra zord and a maximum combination.
Sooooo something that hit me: you mention how Emma's mother being dead is left somewhat ambiguous. Was THAT was Troy's "You should talk to Emma, she knows more about tears than I do" line was supposed to be leading to? Robo-Knight learning the meaning of empathy and humanity through the eyes of someone who lost a loved one? Cuz I gotta admit...that would've been hella impressive for Power Rangers to do. Sadly tho I still think Megaforce woulda fucked it up somehow...
Andrew "The Angry Sports Fan" Acuna If they actually gave a shit, Emma could have retroactively been Trini’s daughter. Just like her actress in real life, Trini could have died in a car accident, and Emma has had to carry that emotional baggage her entire life
Linkara: "let's play a little game, which of these two characters in this scene is the robot" Me: "oh, i know this one, it's troy, who i'm convinced is mark Zuckerberg from a different universe, but we won't get into that"
I hate this goddamn season so much. The writing, the acting the dialogue, the fucking everything. Everything about this show is irritating. And I do mean everything,
21:54 Theme Song: Rangers Together, *SAMURAI FOREVER* Vrak: This is not how it was supposed to end. Goddamm Saban even your own characters know how stupid that was
Jake: Wait a minute, why the heck is it playing Samurai's theme? Vrak: *while about to crash when his ship is about to fall* FAR TOO COMPLEX FOR ALL OF US TO UNDERSTAND!
There was actually three prong foreshadowing with the class. In Goseiger, the three forces the Rangers fought were Insects, Cryptids and Robots. Given the teacher's interest in cryptozoology, I'm surprised they didn't leave the "Toxic Mutants" as Cryptids (especially since the big fuzzy one was obviously based off of Bigfoot, what with his footprint stamping). And I'm glad that you pointed out how Malkor's finale was out of synch chronologically, I always thought that was why Roboknight pulled a Tommy with his morpher/communicator.
Nice to know the Power Ranger producers “care” about their own show. And why did Disney even bother owning the show if they were embarrassed by it and didn’t care? It’s amazing how many producers and owners fail to care about their own damn show!
They bought power rangers through another purchase that came with power rangers. They never had any plans or intentions with power rangers when they bought it
I’d postulate that Disney wanted Power Rangers to fail so they could tarnish a franchise that they weren’t in control of from inception, and then swoop in and “save” the franchise by remaking it, but that would simply never happen.
Well you can't blame Noah and Emma for not knowing the factory is radioactive, the sign is hung so that you can only read it from within the bounds of the factory!
I have an awesome idea for Robo-Knight: just have him be Gosei. Gosei can shapeshift, right? Also, what if he was connected to the Morphing Grid, as if he was a Guardian of the Grid? Troy could've also been used as that "chosen one" idea, making him one with the Grid and, instead of "facing adversity" that we never saw, why not have his reason for joining be ambiguous, saying only he was meant to "bring the powers together." Now, as for Robo-Knight, he's a special form of Gosei that can help the Rangers fight and supply them with power. They could even have Gosei and Troy combine to form the Battlizer (I call it the Gosei Grid Battlizer). In the end, the Rangers would take on Malchor and barely win. The whole thing with the Armada begins to happen, with a giant ship with a massive laser on it designed to wipe out the Rangers. Gosei would take the Rangers' powers, Morphers, etc. and sacrifice himself to protect the world, using all of the power from the Morphing Grid. Their powers would disappear and the Grid itself would be in flux, since Earth became the new "Heart of the Grid" after Eltar was taken. Troy would also have fainted, drained of his power thanks to the state of the Grid. Hear me out. What if the MegaForce team was picked up by a Space Pirate captain? What if Tensu sent the Ranger Keys to him in the emergency before he was destroyed along with the Command Base, since that wouldve gone with Gosei as well. This pirate would come from planet Kaizo 25 (short for Kaizoku, Japanese for pirate). The Grid of course reaches through the universe, but powers are beginning to fail. The Ranger Keys are the only way to access a portion of the Grid. The MegaForce team would assume the new pirate garb and be ready to take on the Robotic Armada and save not only the Earth, but the history of all Power Rangers, as they threaten the Morphing Grid. Instead of Super MegaForce, why not add a subtitle for the second season? How about this? Power Rangers MegaForce: Pirates of the Past
@@kitetenjogalladeknighttosh8863 dude, if I could get a job in writing for a property I love, I'd jump on it in an instant. I just don't think they're taking what I'd be putting down
This is legit my first time experiencing this show.... 12:50 (ish) are we SURE Gosei isn't just a lazy slacker? Like... I think he's just been sitting in his morphing grid chamber wasting time (watching old power rangers re-runs lol) while Zordon was gone. Then it's suddenly his turn to mentor some rangers and he's all "Oh shit! I didn't even start making tech for these assholes yet!". So he grabs some gullible teens, convinces them he's a wise mentor and then runs off and builds something. Then he says some shit like, "Rangers! you totally earned this with your, um.... courage! Totally didn't just get this working..." Robo-Cop Ranger? Just built him but he wasn't done yet, didn't program the "teamwork" part in yet but the rangers were getting their asses kicked so he had to get sent out. Like Linkara said, why would he have even been programmed to know about pollution hundreds of years ago? the morphers and weapons getting different aesthetics? They weren't actually done yet. Gosei is a lazy power ranger fan boy that probably never even KNEW Zordon, that's why he mentions him once and never again. I'm convinced of this.
Alright, I know I should watch the whole video before I rant. but this train episode is hilarious. Like, why adapt the episode that's literally propaganda of the trains in japan. THEY GET THE TRAIN RUNNING WITHOUT THE POWER RANGERS. That's amazing.
Here's an idea for Robo-Knight that marks him as a sixth ranger while still keeping the robot aspect: Make him a lost Zord, one which had a pair of systems: one for automatic repairs, the other that would reshape it to adapt to various circumstances. As a result of being heavily damaged and not recovered by Gosei, both systems kicked in and it gradually changed to something more akin to a ranger so it could act on it's own. The process has only recently finished so while he has the basics down, his information is horribly out of date. You then introduce Orion in Season 1, and he becomes the sixth ranger to the team by essentially turning Robo-Knight into an Iron Man suit. Robo-Knight can still act on his own, but because his AI has only recently come back online, he's effectively just running basic manoeuvres and has trouble adapting to issues and events as they happen. When Orion uses the morpher and transforms fully, all that power becomes available to use. He'd even have a different name to differentiate the two states: Robo-Knight would be when Orion isn't in the suit, while him being present would give him a name like Leo-Knight (since all three of his Zords are lion themed). Then comes the Season 1 finale, Robo-Knight and Orion are separated, leading to Robo-Knight getting captured by Vrak. The rangers don't know about this. During the first third of Season 2, Orion acts as an aide in the Command Cave (think Billy during Zeo), and he develops the Super Megaforce Silver powers, making his return as a Ranger in Episode 7, where it happened before. It also neatly explains why certain Rangers that weren't marked as Sixth Rangers previously (such as Solaris Knight and Gosei Knight), now count: Orion programmed the powers himself and assumed they were actual sixth rangers.
Y'know, as shitty as Megaforce could get, I actually really do love that cliffhanger ending. Just the sheer panic in Gosei's tone, screaming at them to morph because otherwise they're about to die.
I think the constant new zords would work better if Gosei said they had just been offline for so long that it would take time for them to activate. Then when they were introduced he could say "a new weapon has activated" rather than "you have earned this new weapon."
I know I already said this in the other videos, but it really says something when PR Fans can come up with better writing decisions, than the actual writers of Megaforce.
I always liked the idea of Gosei actually being a villain, posing as a mentor. He even has Lord Zed's fan in his command cave. Imagine that for a stinger finale. The rangers leave, the tikki head slowly lowers and you see the man, the legend. Lord Zed himself, the emperor of evil with his snake. The wall-e rip offs eyes glow red and we hear him laugh as Rita's voice sings from the shadows "Were baaaaack wahahahahahahaaha!" why would they create rangers? Because Zordon would of had a back up plan in case they returned, so they gave the powers to 5 worthless idiots whom they deemed unfit. And because the main "villain" was a threat to Zed and Rita. Use power rangers who you can defeat to defeat another enemy, then strip them of said powers. Because of this, the rangers in the Super Megaforce arch would split up (in my version) like in the zeo quest, to prove that they were worthy of the power and acquire the Super Megaforce keys / morpher, unique to them to face the OG villain couple
sorry to ruin this but there is a small problem with this. the z wave turned them good. then again though megaforce doesnt really care about continutiy that much so maybe it could work
If only the show had focused more on adapting Gokaiger instead of burning through all the damn sentai footage just to keep selling as much toys as possible. We could have gotten an amazing 20th anniversary series in the Neo-Saban era of Power Rangers.
The 3rd part of this series got blocked by Hasbro. How many more times will UA-cam force Linkara to edit these videos?! Copyright laws are so broken at this point, eventually you won't be able to show a second of a show before you get copyrighted. Stop taking these videos down, UA-cam! They're some of the most entertaining videos I've watched, and I'm tired of one man's hard work getting shot down repeatedly by your broken system. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
You know, I think it would have been better if they just dropped all pretenses about the new zords and weapons. Rather than giving lip service to them earning the new powers, they were just weapons that were always available to them, but the whole Power Rangers don't escalate the violence thing prevents them from using them when there isn't an explicit need. The pacing of their integration could have been better, and there still should have been a reason why they stopped being used between seasons, but I would have preferred it to what we got. And I actually like this season well enough.
I actually do have a suggestion for the mutants that would simplify them while also giving them a reason to want to destroy Humanity. Reveal that they're Orgs. Think about it these two are Orgs who managed to survive by hiding underground, building their power to the best of their abilities, and believing that they could rebuild their power base since the Animarium hadn't returned only for them to come into conflict with Mega Force. Plust it can provide a tie to Wild Force since they'd later on visit the Animarium. I find it especially makes sense because it's hardly a new idea for villains from past seasons to return, see the Machine Empire generals, Vipra, the Mut-orgs ect.
I was thinking this given their ties and love for pollution or have them be the original/ proto version of the mutants from time force (I know ransik was from waste human DNA but is it hard to believe that toxic waste could create something similar with plant DNA?) making when time force does happen it would be more mankind not learning from its mistake and history ironically repeating in the future.
Roboknight would have been perfect for wild force. Think about it. He refers to himself as a guardian of the earth what is wild forces catchphrase *guardians* *of* *the* *earth* Also his original goal was to protect the environment and wild force (even if it was poorly handled) were doing the same thing. If Megaforce was written competently then Linkara could have said that Roboknight was built specifically for wild force but was awakened 10 years after his original purpose was fulfilled. It could've made an interesting connection to Wild Force and would've added depth for Roboknight who was now left without a purpose and gain a new one over time.
@@Sora_Likes_Memes true but I'm strictly working with Megaforce lore here and I think that with this being an anniversary season my explanation would tie into that theme well

Actually in the original version the Toxic Beasts aren't mutants at all. They are a race of demons called the Yumajuu that hated humans and wanted to kill all of them. Vrak's japanese counterpart (Buredoran) freed them from the Aurora Box after Malkor's (Mons Drake) death.
Sean CW Johnson who played carter said that the producers told him dont worry about acting "say the line, sell the toy" i think megaforce and a small majority of neo saban is a good example of this mentality

@@goggleheroomegamaple820 . This explains a lot. What’s sad is we’ll never get another season to use ranger modes like this again, so much potential wasted. It’s such a disappointment
Linkara, I love your videos, but you really didn't get the motivation for the mutants. In that clip you showed, the impression I got wasn't that they hate pollution. It was that they hate humanity's apathy and indifference to the damage they caused. (which you can't completely blame them for due to the sight Noah and Emma found) Their motivation can be summed up as "The humans don't care about this planet, so we claim it as ours and will make it more suited for us. If you humans don't like it, then die or get off our property." Also, doesn't it make more sense that Roboknight has his own collection of Power Cards on him, and he doesn't see a need to turn on his communicator, hence why Gosei doesn't just send him new cards with new data? Otherwise, awesome video.
"During a field trip Noah and Emma apparently stumble on friggin' Chernobyl..." So Megaforce is set in the Ukraine where they speak predominantly English?
I wanted to mention an idea, I had for this season that would make it more of anniversary season. Have all the villian factions be connected to the previous villians, like the Insects being remanets of Trakeena and Scorpius's empire, with Admiral Malkor being related to Scorpius as a neglected son or as a relative. The mutants, I'm not sure, perhaps what remains of the under Octomus the Master's worshippers. While with the machines, I thought of this the instant I saw the messagers counterpart and how fitting it would be. The messager would instead be a grown up and upgraded Prince Sprocket driven mad by the last of his empire and his family. I doubt the Z wave would destroy him since killing a child is not something seen as good. His Sentai counterpart, Robogog acts extremely abusive towards Metal Alice, only cares about himself and his goals, tries to rule the world through making others fear him, and is incapable of showing genuine emotion or empathy towards others. his pretty much is insane and desire nothing but revenge against the rangers. While my idea for Vrak is to have him be Thrax, the real one. The one scene in overdrive was a fake who used it for his own gain. Vrak basically manipulated the villian factions to try to weaken the rangers and see if they were any use. I also thought of his angel form due to being somehow improperly purified by the Z-wave making him able to use a part of Zordon's power. Him being the son of Rita & Zedd, along with gaining what he needs from each faction along with Zordon's power would kind of justify the danger he is. Sorry, if it's not good. Just something I thought about while looking up some Goseiger to see if it could have been done without making it a double adaptation
I see why Emma wants to help Troy and be so positive, because she loves the environment and trees, and Troy's acting and line delivery are like a tree: wooden as fuck.
i guess they couldnt really adapt vrak as he is in goseiger, in that show he is not an alien prince but a fallen angel (basically lucifer) also he had a form based on master xandred (doukoku chimatsuri), that appeared in the crossover of goseiger and shinkenger, and got his ass kicked, after that incident, he got his memories erased and got remodeled into his tank form
In hindsight, if the great battle were to happen at this series finale, it really would be Endgame. The rangers see an army charging at them, they get ready to face them, and Tommy says "On Your Left".
So if they’re mutants, where’s Wes and Eric? Oh right I forgot, this was Megaforce. The series that actively chose to ignore all of the logical ideas as well as spit on the history of the power rangers
Gosei must never meet Connor from Dino Thunder. Gosei's addiction to giving his Rangers new powers and Connor's addiction to power-ups would result in him becoming a god for two minutes while permanently draining the Morphin Grid of all energy.
If you ask me they should’ve kept Creepox for more episodes then they did they so they set up better for the rivalry between Troy and Creepox and to make it feel like more of an anniversary by making the rivalry between them be like the rivalry between Tommy and Goldar.
I've seen the sentai and went on the wiki and found out that for Bigs and Bluefur they're both based on invertebrates with Bigs being based on an earthworm & Bluefur on a FREAKING TARANTULA (you can see it on his arms to his shoulders & feet)
Actually it was the opposite: Saban wanted to skip Goseiger, since Gokaiger was also an anniversary season, but weird contract shit with Toei meant they weren't allowed to, so they had to shove the Goseiger stuff in season 1 so they could get to the stuff they actually wanted to adapt in Season 2. Why they couldn't skip Goseiger but were allowed to skip Go-Busters (which eventually became Beast Morphers) i don't know, but w/e.
I think it would have been better if they gave goesiger “the beast morphers” treatment. Skip over it, but go back and adapt it a couple years later. That way goesiger and gokeiger wouldn’t be associated as the same thing.
21:57 SERIOUSLY. If they were going to use "Rangers Together. Samurai Forever". Play it during the Super Megaforce episode with Jaden. And have the tune play after taking down Octaroo once and for all. Maybe have him scream "MASTER XANDRED! FORGIVE ME!" as his last words for good measure.
There was a better way to incorporate things, but that involves effort, thought and consideration, and clearly no one wanted gave a shit. Dialogue is shit, editing is shit, direction is nonexistent, nothing makes sense, no effort is made to really make this a true anniversary season aside from the damn cameos.
I have to say, I like the mutant designs, a good horror look for a kids show. But I also can't help but notice they look like Yokai, the fluffy one with the two headed club looks a lot like a fluffy oni. Instead of them being mutants, they could have been demons, we could have had a cool alien vs demon and science vs magic idea with the factions fighting each other
The reason you got that impression is because they are demons. Specifically, in Goseiger, the original Sentai series, they were a group of demons who were sealed in a box and tried to destroy the world through pollution. The idea in that series was that they had three different villain factions who were each the villains of successive story arcs, who each fell into one of three common archetypes for Sentai villain groups: alien invaders, ancient demons, and evil robots. You might think that idea fits well for an anniversary season, so if it was adapted into one, they should play that idea up, especially since insectoid aliens, pollution-monsters, and alien robots have all been the villains of previous PR seasons. If you do, you thought about it harder than the people who made the show did. Specifically, every villain and monster-of-the-week in that series followed the naming scheme [name that's a reference to the Japanese title of a science fiction movie] of the [word related to its abilities]. The Warstar (aliens) are all named after movies with aliens, the Yumajuu (demons) after movies with monsters, and the Matrintis (robots) after movies about robots or technology. The Yumajuu also had a theme where they were all "of the" some kind of monster, cryptid, or mythical creature, including several yokai, but the two leaders were actually named Makuin (derived from the Japanese title of The Blob) of the Blob and Kinggon (derived from King Kong) of the Bigfoot. According to the same sources, though, their designs are also partially based on an earthworm and a tarantula. Because in Goseiger, the Goseigers all came from either the Sky, Land, or Sea Tribes and that determined their powers and mecha. The villains had a similar theme going on, but they were all specifically based on invertebrates instead of the more typical animals the heroes used, with the space aliens based out of an orbital base based on flying bugs, the demons sealed in a box underground based on terrestrial creatures, and the robots with an undersea base based on aquatic creatures.
Concerning all the flaws Megaforce/Super Megaforce had we do have a potential explanation for them. Andrew Grey the actor who played Troy stated in an interview that all of the flaws Megaforce/Super Megaforce had was due to a crappy production staff including the script writers.
@@estebangutierrez160 Still it's a shame Megaforce/Super Megaforce got hit with a crappy production staff cause it now makes you wonder how awesome Megaforce/Super Megaforce could've been if it had a competent production staff including competent script writers.
Oh my...I just realized another way they could have made this an anniversary tie-in: make Malkor and the insectoids the same race of insectoid aliens as Scorpius and Trakeena
Meanwhile the Ninja Turtles have decided that the “New Way” is to let the Power Rangers handle everything while they dick around and make season 1 MMPR Bulk and Skull look like freakin’ saints.
From what I know of the Next Mutation it's inferior to anything in TMNT and Power Rangers, and this is someone who's knowledge of of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the 2003 series, and that was a fantastic show.
How about rather than the mutants being contradictory idiots that don't make sense, why not just say that they were the last two remaining orgs? It would better explain why they want to cause pollution so bad, and it would be some actually cool fan service
It’s amazing to me how the level of production of each new season remains the same. 30 years and nothings new. That’s an accomplishment. Seeing 30 years of technological improvements come and go and just say, “nah, we’re good”. Just incredible.
You know, another failing of Megaforce is the lack of explanation, like Robo Knight is supposed to protect the environment, where was he during say Wild Force where the main message was environmentalism and fighting the Orgs, who want to destroy the environment? A simple "A battle with a past villain/disaster happens, that either left Robo Knight presumed 6 or sealed somewhere, where he couldn't be retrieved until the events of Megaforce" could've done it, but nope! It's "far too complex for you to understand"
It would have been interesting. If Robo Knight was actually the super sentai version of the green ranger. Sure he was a one episode character that died and was mainly backstory for Gosei Blue. Could have been the sole protector until he was severely entered. Resulting in Gosei modifying his body into Robo Knight. After coming back, he lost who he originally was until the Rangers help remind him. Explaining why he is considered the six ranger. Even have it as a slight homage to Mighty Morphin green ranger. Also have him be friends with Jake and any remnants of green ranger energy gets past to him, explaining why he sometimes green in super megaforce.
(Re uploaded from the AT4W Website) Wow you haven't even seen Goseiger and yet even you can tell that this season was shuffling its Sentai Footage around like a deck of cards. It's like you said, there were originally three villain factions in Goseiger with each one showing up immediately after the previous one was beaten, with the Warstar (another example of laziness THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE VILLAIN FACTIONS' NAME!!!) being lead by Mons Drake, Malker's counterpart, then the Yuumajuu the Mutant's counterparts then finally Matrintis lead by Tensai No RoboGog; the Messenger's counterpart. Though I will give some credit that Megaforce did do something original with Vrak and that we know that he was the one calling the shots from the start whereas his counterpart Brajira mostly took the Starscream route and actually pulled it off better then Starscream and did become the main threat. And honestly with a season that copies to the point that they might as well have subbed the Sentai a little bit of originality is appreciated.
Gosei: Rangers! Morph now! Troy:Why? Gosei: Just morph. Morph. Morph. MORPH!!!! vs Zordon: Rangers, you must morph Tommy: Hey Zordon, whats up? Zordon: Lord Zed has sent an army of his super putties to the earth. They are swarming your location and..... Tommy: Yeah we see them, next time - keep it brief. Its mophin' time!
The difference between the student and his master is apparent but this right here is the biggest difference in their approaches. Zordon actually spoke to the Rangers and informed them of stuff unlike Gosei who tells them things either last minute, when forced too, or not at all
He's based on the monster from the movie "the blob" actually. All the monsters from goseiger are movie references. I don't speak to what they are in power rangers since this season was dumb, but originally the blob was just a blob.
Some more for you, because Goseiger was a puntastic series: For instance the footsoldiers are called "Bibi Bugs", a reference to B-Movies in the original sense (a secondary, less important feature) and underlining their relative lack of importance. Creepox was originally named "Deraputa", a Japanese anagram for "Predator", referring to his role hunting the red ranger. Malkor was "Mons Drake", a distorted Japanese anagram for "Star Trek", referring to Star Trek (09) with his planet busting power. Bluefur was "Kinggon", a reference to King Kong, but he also has a bunch of other worldplay including his name having the homophone for the Japanese word for "muscle", referencing his weapon, and being similar sounding to a Japanese cryptid (the Hibagon) which is similar to big foot. The blob dude was originally named "Makuin", which is a reference to actor Steve McQueen who starrred in the Blob. The Japanese name for the movie "The Blob" was apparently "McQueen's Absolute Crisis". The Messenger was originally Robogog, a reference to Robocop and also a reference to his Sentai version where he was originally a human who transformed himself into a cyborg. Robogog was given the title "The 10-Sai", a multi-pun where 10-Sai could be a reference to his 10 different special abilities (each of which ended with "Sai", like Yosai/Fortress Armor or Gekisai/Devastation Vulcan), or it could be pronounced as a homophone for the Japanese words "Genius" or "Disaster" Finally the main villain of Goseiger was adapted into Vrak, but was originally named "Buredorun" in his initial three guises as a reference to Blade Runner, later revealing himself to actually be the fallen angel "Brajil", a reference to Terry Gilliam's Brazil. In both cases his name references his plot, as Buredorun/Bladerun he was an imposter who used his powers to replicate the traits and appearance of a monster, meanwhile Brajil is named after a movie where success turned out to be impossible (or arguably where the hero didn't even really try) and his ultimate master plan in the sentai was predicated on his own ultimate defeat.
They really shoulda had the SMF team B new characters, maybe mercs who were hired by the baddies, but turned on them once they realized what they were in on.

To be totally fair, a lot of the Disney Era did the same thing with trying to match sets, particularly the stock quarry. I don't really mind it too much, but you're right that it's very odd that they would care more about that than everything else.
At least there is more effort and thought, and originality, and heart being put into most of the Disney-era seasons than there is in this god-awful TV series.
@@xgray2012and there are more risks taken. True, Overdrive was terrible. but you can tell there was something to be had that just didn't work out in practice

I watched gokaiger vs goseiger and I think I came up with an idea on how seamlessly change from goseiger to gokaiger What if we just adapt the gokaiger vs goseiger movie kinda sorta In the beginning of that movie the goseigers steal the gokaigers keys to transform What if we swap the roles What if gosei does give them the super mode and a completely separate new group steals the keys and morphers Then after the new team shows their skills the new team gives the normal megaforce powers to the new team Being A: a call back to turbo where they hand the powers to new people and B: explains why transform into goseiger during sentai footage

Nice to know the Power Ranger producers “care” about their own show. And why did Disney even bother owning the show if they were embarrassed by it and didn’t care?
It’s amazing how many producers and owners fail to care about their own damn show!
It's a funny old world that we live in.
Wasn’t Megaforce during Nick’s time of owning the series?
They bought power rangers through another purchase that came with power rangers. They never had any plans or intentions with power rangers when they bought it
Hey it was the 2000's, Disney had a lot of others things to care about then Power Rangers!

12:50 (ish) are we SURE Gosei isn't just a lazy slacker? Like... I think he's just been sitting in his morphing grid chamber wasting time (watching old power rangers re-runs lol) while Zordon was gone. Then it's suddenly his turn to mentor some rangers and he's all "Oh shit! I didn't even start making tech for these assholes yet!". So he grabs some gullible teens, convinces them he's a wise mentor and then runs off and builds something. Then he says some shit like, "Rangers! you totally earned this with your, um.... courage! Totally didn't just get this working..."
Robo-Cop Ranger?
@@bshpevThat reminds me of the ToQger sentai, which I thought at first was stupid, but when I watched the show, I started to love it more
My question is when did Zordon train Gosei to be a giant head, and when did Gosei make Robo-Knight?
Here's an idea for Robo-Knight that marks him as a sixth ranger while still keeping the robot aspect:
Make him a lost Zord, one which had a pair of systems: one for automatic repairs, the other that would reshape it to adapt to various circumstances.
Ok yours is cooler than mine
Maybe they attacked a train line because the trains are the only way for the RPM rangers to help other rangers.

Y'know, as shitty as Megaforce could get, I actually really do love that cliffhanger ending. Just the sheer panic in Gosei's tone, screaming at them to morph because otherwise they're about to die.
Yeah, credit where it's due, that was a good moment.
Totally, if that’d been the ending to a good season I’d probably have cried as a kid
If Robo knight wants to know why humans cry he only needs to watch terminator 2.
21:55 Rangers together... Samurai forever?!
WHAT THE HECK SABAN DO YOU KNOW THE RIGHT THEME SONG??!! Gosh!
Apparently not, I mean might as well it’s basically the Same theme as Megaforce except with not the word Samurai in it
I think the constant new zords would work better if Gosei said they had just been offline for so long that it would take time for them to activate.
The wall-e rip offs eyes glow red and we hear him laugh as Rita's voice sings from the shadows "Were baaaaack wahahahahahahaaha!"
why would they create rangers? Because Zordon would of had a back up plan in case they returned, so they gave the powers to 5 worthless idiots whom they deemed unfit. And because the main "villain" was a threat to Zed and Rita. Use power rangers who you can defeat to defeat another enemy, then strip them of said powers. Because of this, the rangers in the Super Megaforce arch would split up (in my version) like in the zeo quest, to prove that they were worthy of the power and acquire the Super Megaforce keys / morpher, unique to them to face the OG villain couple

Professor Cog. For some reason.
How they can be Orgs without horns.
Makes Sense Since Mutants Where Also In Time Force
Roboknight would have been perfect for wild force. Think about it. He refers to himself as a guardian of the earth what is wild forces catchphrase *guardians* *of* *the* *earth* Also his original goal was to protect the environment and wild force (even if it was poorly handled) were doing the same thing. If Megaforce was written competently then Linkara could have said that Roboknight was built specifically for wild force but was awakened 10 years after his original purpose was fulfilled. It could've made an interesting connection to Wild Force and would've added depth for Roboknight who was now left without a purpose and gain a new one over time.

Robo-Knight is has the most emotion out of any of the rangers yet he's the one trying to understand human emotion
If you humans don't like it, then die or get off our property."
Also, doesn't it make more sense that Roboknight has his own collection of Power Cards on him, and he doesn't see a need to turn on his communicator, hence why Gosei doesn't just send him new cards with new data? Otherwise, awesome video.
"During a field trip Noah and Emma apparently stumble on friggin' Chernobyl..." So Megaforce is set in the Ukraine where they speak predominantly English?
If that’s the case then Ukraine might need them with everything that’s going on these days.

"scene does not contain lap-dance"
They should had just made the mutants Orgs, it could had been a great way to call back Wild Force season.

@@derrickhaggard most of it is all Jonathan Tzachor's fault because all the good interesting things that could've happened he outright rejected.
Fucking, infinity war ad. What a glorious time to be alive.
Oh my...I just realized another way they could have made this an anniversary tie-in: make Malkor and the insectoids the same race of insectoid aliens as Scorpius and Trakeena
FUUUCCCKIIIING BRILLIANT! !!!!!!!!!
The "mutants" could have been Orgs and the robots could have been from the Machine Empire or the RPM universe
It would've been amazing if we had prior forces from past seasons teaming up to fight the Rangers from the 20th anniversary
Anything would have been better then what we got.
Love that
the fact that they even used the wrong theme is hilarious😂😂😂
this is getting ridiculous! how many of your vids are gonna be taken down? you are well within the fair rights act
Most of them are some where on UA-cam somewhere
Part 1 got taken down SMH
@@gokairedwillcipher of course it did
Meanwhile the Ninja Turtles have decided that the “New Way” is to let the Power Rangers handle everything while they dick around and make season 1 MMPR Bulk and Skull look like freakin’ saints.
From what I know of the Next Mutation it's inferior to anything in TMNT and Power Rangers, and this is someone who's knowledge of of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the 2003 series, and that was a fantastic show.
“Vraks counterpart was the big bad of the season manipulating different faction”
That sentence alone makes his sentai counterpart far more interesting
How about rather than the mutants being contradictory idiots that don't make sense, why not just say that they were the last two remaining orgs? It would better explain why they want to cause pollution so bad, and it would be some actually cool fan service
Honestly that would make sence hell it could also lead up to a megaforce x wild force crossover
There’s still Jindrax & Toxica.
It’s amazing to me how the level of production of each new season remains the same. 30 years and nothings new. That’s an accomplishment. Seeing 30 years of technological improvements come and go and just say, “nah, we’re good”. Just incredible.
In the sentai Malkor's counterpart was already dead before the Toxic Mutants counterpart the Nammu every showed up.
20:49 I honestly prefer Robo-Knight learning to wrap
Gosei screaming “MORPH MORPH MORPH” sent chills down my spine.
Same cuz that's THE ONLY time we hear or see gosei panic
@@dylanthebiguy that was honestly the first time id seen the mentor get even a little panicked so i was scared asf as a kid lmao
@@kiru___ oki :3
Gosei: Rangers! Morph now!
Troy:Why?
Gosei: Just morph. Morph. Morph. MORPH!!!!
vs
Zordon: Rangers, you must morph
Tommy: Hey Zordon, whats up?
Zordon: Lord Zed has sent an army of his super putties to the earth. They are swarming your location and.....
Tommy: Yeah we see them, next time - keep it brief. Its mophin' time!
The difference between the student and his master is apparent but this right here is the biggest difference in their approaches. Zordon actually spoke to the Rangers and informed them of stuff unlike Gosei who tells them things either last minute, when forced too, or not at all
Would've been great if he was evil. It would explain why he acts the way he does. Almost like hes hindering the Rangers at every turn
It's taken me a long time but I can finally laugh at how terrible this season was. XD
the blob creature is either a mutated ameoba or tardigrade
He's based on the monster from the movie "the blob" actually. All the monsters from goseiger are movie references. I don't speak to what they are in power rangers since this season was dumb, but originally the blob was just a blob.
neat
Some more for you, because Goseiger was a puntastic series:
For instance the footsoldiers are called "Bibi Bugs", a reference to B-Movies in the original sense (a secondary, less important feature) and underlining their relative lack of importance.
Robogog was given the title "The 10-Sai", a multi-pun where 10-Sai could be a reference to his 10 different special abilities (each of which ended with "Sai", like Yosai/Fortress Armor or Gekisai/Devastation Vulcan), or it could be pronounced as a homophone for the Japanese words "Genius" or "Disaster"
Finally the main villain of Goseiger was adapted into Vrak, but was originally named "Buredorun" in his initial three guises as a reference to Blade Runner, later revealing himself to actually be the fallen angel "Brajil", a reference to Terry Gilliam's Brazil. In both cases his name references his plot, as Buredorun/Bladerun he was an imposter who used his powers to replicate the traits and appearance of a monster, meanwhile Brajil is named after a movie where success turned out to be impossible (or arguably where the hero didn't even really try) and his ultimate master plan in the sentai was predicated on his own ultimate defeat.
cool but this is what I thought the creatures mutated forms came from
Oh, in that case Makuin/Bigs is apparently meant to be an Earthworm according to the Goseiger artbook.
They really shoulda had the SMF team B new characters, maybe mercs who were hired by the baddies, but turned on them once they realized what they were in on.
I personally love the episode "The Human Condition"
It's silly, but it feels like the kind of silliness Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers would've had
18:58 And had a much better design than Admiral Malkor.
20:56 I remember watching this show when it first debuted and I was EIGHT and even I kept thinking why aren't they using their ultra powers.
I think the mutants idea was that they know pollution is bad but they’re going to make more since it benefits them
To be totally fair, a lot of the Disney Era did the same thing with trying to match sets, particularly the stock quarry.
Disney wasn't perfect but at the very least most of those seasons had more effort then these two did. Even the weakest seasons under Saban's control was better then here.
Uh... part 3 was blocked on UA-cam. Just thought you should know.
Part 1 was taken down and so was part 1 of Jungle Fury
Rangers your report cards have got you a new power
Admit it Toei GoseiRoboknight is only counted as a sixth ranger because he is gold or silver.
i'm sorry, but this is very therapeutic for me:
GOKAAAIIIIIIIIIII SILVERRRRRRRR
"Morph! Morph! Morph!!!"
Man, Gosei suuuuuucks.
Oh come on! I was watching part 1 a few days ago before heading back to Overdrive's spot in the playlist.
You can still watch it on the atopthefourthwall website.
So Roboknight is just a lame version of Blue Centurion from Turbo, which itself wasn't that great.
Not really. For one thing, Robo Knight is not a copy of that Extra Hero. He's not great but there's charm to it plus has a story arc which did work.
Me: *saying "Good morning" to my neighbour
Gosei: Thanks to your kindness and pure heart you have earned a new weapon for your Megazord
The mutants definitely should have been the orgs or something
Love the what is love drop. Also keep up the great work
I watched gokaiger vs goseiger and I think I came up with an idea on how seamlessly change from goseiger to gokaiger
What if we just adapt the gokaiger vs goseiger movie kinda sorta
In the beginning of that movie the goseigers steal the gokaigers keys to transform
What if we swap the roles
What if gosei does give them the super mode and a completely separate new group steals the keys and morphers
Then after the new team shows their skills the new team gives the normal megaforce powers to the new team
Being A: a call back to turbo where they hand the powers to new people and
B: explains why transform into goseiger during sentai footage
