@@ProfessorBuckz No, you can still do it. Just be careful that you don't sleep too many times before doing the beacons. If you don't sleep or pass the time manually you have infinite time. So how much time you have in the Unmoored world is just based on how good you are at the game and how often you need to sleep to refill health.
@@Mrdood999 How can you do it if you didn't fight him? I can't find the corpse. Nothing but Talos' arm is in my Unmoored world, I'm on day 2 with access to the full map and only the final red beacon in Seafloor remains. Successfully evacuated all the locations: Excavation Site, Volcanic Island, Sacred Arbor, Vernworth, and Bakbattahl too. I ran on foot from Bakbattahl, past the Volcanic Island Camp, past the arm by the lava, all the way to the point where I believe Talos goes in the lava and didn't find it
Quality of life tip for Ferrystones, there are a bunch on the path south from Harve village to the Seafloor shrine. There's a quest to escort the crazy man near the portcrystal to Seafloor shrine and on the way there are several just laying on the ground
Just completed it now before watching the video. Assumed that red beacon was just another bossfight but it was the ending cutscene and now I can only go to NG+ no going back. I'm a little disapointed with the endgame tbh. It's really cool, but then with basically the one quest and couple of the red beacons it really only takes a few hours.
@@egordon7543 I got the gear for myself but only a few pieces for my pawn. I’m pretty much done with the game now tho. Moving on to something else. NG+ seems pretty pointless. Looks like enemies don’t really scale up so you’re just one shotting everything at the start.
I got stuck on the sacred harbour as I didn’t do the quest to unlock the city. The way I completed it was by going there, speaking to the son towards the inn. He says he will try to pursuade his father to leave, which he is unable. I rested a total of 3 times at the inn close by, speaking to him each time after I rested until he finally gave in and evacuated the city. Hope this helps someone
So, two things I did. Was I did every red beam first. Get a bunch of crystals and xp. I used the mystic spear hands bubble a lot of the time. Helps so much. Then proceeded to do all the quest stuff (while exploring) for the elves if all you have left is something about the tree and you need a spoiled apple and fish. What I did was just evacuate bakbattahl and it “fails” it. But you’re able to evacuate them afterwords either way
For evacuating the sacred arbor, I didn't complete the quest but was able to still evacuate them. I was able to do it by: - finding a rift pawn with the specialization of Woodland Wordsmith to speak elvish - speaking to the man with the bow in the public area that leads you to his father, the leader. I kept talking to the father* for a while until he kept saying the same things - cleared the red rift in arbor heart - resting a night at the inn - going back to speak to the father, he gives in and evacuates
@@dabeedlittlehale7513 I had spammed speaking to him the first time for a few minutes straight. Not sure if that makes a difference. Not sure if it's time locked to a time of day either
Did it all, also didn't work. I didn't spam the father a bunch but I did make him repeat his final dialogue 4 times than I went to the Inn. I also switched to Archer vocation (since all/most elves are Archers, including the father. Didn't help). This was my 2nd time resting at an Inn in the Unmoored, do you happen to know if I can rest again and the Arbor will be safe? I have cleared every red portal thing.
I missed the evacuation quest in Battahl after finding my pawn, I destroyed the dragon but went straight to seafloor shrine after that, I killed all the Dragons and went back to Battahl last but the NPC is nowhere to be found for me to evacuate the city, Any clues?
PSA: If you don't get the beacon at Volcanic Island it is because of how you defeated Talos (both his arms are still intact). In that case, He will defeat the 2 dragons for you after you activate him
This. Not that they're easy to come by, but definitely save them for the Unmoored world as they're just a free rest if you need it for pretty much any reason at all.
Im in the unmoored world as well, my question is do wakestones work in there since i havent died yet, im stocked as hell on em from collecting seeker tokens
Finally got 100% on my second full playthrough. Thanks for the guide. I want to let people know that the 4th beacon on the volcanic island did not spawn for me, but I still got everything. Unsure why this happened.
If we clear every beacon before the seafloor shrine do we have an endless amount of time to explore the world? I can't find any solid answer on this, some people say they've spent dozens of sleeps in the unmoored world and others say they can't rest anymore.
If you did not finished the ornate box quest, the box will not be in the table next to the queen. In my case I did finish the quest for the medicines and the little girl but I never bought the box or gave it to Sven. Luckily you can still go to the merchants quarters and found the merchant that sells the ornate box it will be in one of the stalls nearest to the oxcarts entrance. You can then buy the box and give it to Sven.
For those who did not complete the quest "Ailing Arborhart" or fu*k up because you evacuate Bakbathal before elf people resulting in the quest gone. You can still evacuate elves (advice to do it after you clear all the red light except the last one at the shrine for Ng+, so that the red fog does not invade the land) 1. talk with the leader (he will say something like "no, I won't...." 2. sleep until morning 3. talk with the leader 2nd time (he will say "pray, leave us...." 4. sleep again til morning 5. talk with leader 3rd time (will say "why do you persist...." 6. sleep again til morning 7. talk with leader again, this time he will admit defeat and evacuate the people, even though you didn't complete the Ailing Arborhart quest. (i dont remender if he admit defeat on 4th day or 5th day, just do it until he gave up) basically just sleep and keep talking to him every day until he gave up, that's what work for me. Thank god I did not give up when the quest for Ailing Arborhart is gone because I cannot complete the rotten apple/fish thing ;)
This is a good guide. However, you failed to mention that you need high affinity with Lamond in order for him to accept the request. So when I asked him, he declined my offer.
For anyone else on trying to convince the prince mother, in the video she had that box in her room but for me it wasn’t. Maybe I had already gotten it and sold it or something. But for me, the merchant at the entrance of the city, had it for sell then you take it to the son and it’ll let you finish the quest. Hope this helps. If not let me know
For the elves part you do not need to do the quest line simply hire someone who speaks elven and they’ll evacuate when you run the dialogue to the point where the admits defeat
I’m slightly confused. Not sure if I missed something but I went to the exact location where the red beacon was supposed to be outside the volcano town and there was nothing there. I still had battahl, the arbor, and vernworth beacons though. Anyone else have this issue? Now I’m worried my game is bugged and I’m afraid to sleep in case it is and the clouds start encroaching on that area.
I'm having this issue. I also resurrected talos and cleared the 3 other red beacons on day 1. The final beacon appeared outside of the sea shrine but when i fast traveled there thr fog immediately descended on the island.
Damn, the last place bunch of people I needed to save were the pawns, but they ended up being destroyed after I slept a couple of times to convince the elves to leave. Goddamnit 😔 I didn’t know they were even there until after I looked up a guide to complete the quest.
For everybody watching and i hope you are try to get medusa her head so you can basicslly one shot all dragons. I put a port crystal closee to her spawn point. Id say its the best solution to all the dragons, upvote if i helped!
I killed all the dragons on a speedrun and I’d swear the dog has started to recede, just gotta save vermund and do the arbor quest and get them out since I never did and I’m all done then to grind wyrnslife for my pawn to armor up
What makes me paranoid after completing the evacuation quest is that there are freakin escort quests, teleported to Backbattal so I can finally start farming for other mats and Ragnall was posted up by the bar for an escort to the seafloor ruins like!? I know that Brandt has one as well but his was easier I noped going the long way for ragnall and just ferrystoned to get it over with

@@mattg5535 Yes, you don't even need to grab him, once the dwarf and wife are in your party, all you need to do is ferry stone to the volcanic camp and you're good to go.
Do the Arborheart quest before you go to endgame. I didn't, but I did it after I got to the unmoored world and it didn't change anything. Elf still wouldn't evacuate.
Headless Horseman spawned right on top of me, not even night time, and apparently he has unlimited aggro range so I was forced to slowly kill him because I was also on a new low level vocation. Now me and all my pawns have no max life, amazing.
@@IAmRacist0 I'm wrecking every thing else, no enemy should have unlimited aggro range. He followed all the way from one town to another, that's bad design. It also wasn't even night time. I can't think of a single other game I've ever played where an enemy has unlimited aggro range.
@stonaraptor8196 you don't actually see it change but there either is or the devs forgot to remove pawn voice lines. In the unmoored pawns still say it's dark and to turn your lantern on (when outside and it's not dark at all)
I take it you've never bothered to use the two physical spells a Sorcerer has? Both Seism and Maelstrom completely wreck golems... You say that golems are hard as a Sorcerer, but actually no class kills them faster...LOL. Those are also the two spells that can kill the stupid "I have five hundred weak spots" bosses in this section of the game too faster than any other class. I actually killed all of the bosses/beacons before even bothering with the very first quest you get here as well.
Sux you aren’t getting a more experienced response than this, but from what I read, you just lose access to those areas and you can’t do anything w them anymore. If all of it progresses I THINK it’s NG+ but I can’t say for shre
Dude, I have done this, following your excellent guide (Ty) 2 times, but both times I do NOT have the beacon in the volcanic island, do you have any idea why? I have completed all the quests and side quests that I know of, plus I have completed almost all the hidden achievements in the game. thanks.
I did without a guide, just pay attention to people conversation and if they say something take it seriously because that really will happen also the oracle help you a lot in what to do next.
I let the elf's sister die in that quest, to which she doesn't even show up in the morgue, and he goes on an adventure to find himself. I returned to the sacred arbor and gave the old man elf a few wyrmcrystals so he would give me the archer meister skill. When I got to the sacred arbor in the unmoored world, I simply had to speak with him twice and he agreed to evacuate. There's no need to do that quest, or fear of not evacuating the arbor if you missed it, you just need high affinity with the Oldman elf. Hope this helps someone else. This game seems flimsy with the quests, but truth is, most things are related to affinity with characters, not their questlines. Cheers all.
Think it advances and eventually when you rest a cutscene plays and the world ends, it’s like you have 2 attempts.. and obv places get covered up as you rest and can’t go back to them
Swear the elf leader only joins when the red mist is one day away(red mist on map is next to sacred arbour) coz he wasn’t for following me until I spoke to his son tried to convince him I left did everything else went back and now he will come
If you stop talos before he breaks his arm he will destroy both dragons/beacons on volcano island for you.

8:38 Don't know if anybody has said anything but it's worth noting if you never did Lamond's quest OR gave him any gifts to raise his affinity he will decline to evacuate on both dialogue options. Just got to this point on my playthrough and kind of never got around to doing his stuff lol.
For the elves if you have trouble with any of the questlines like roman missing just exhaust the elf leaders dialogue rest repeat until he admits defeat
TIP: if you do the Talos giant first it will also kill the dragon you’d otherwise have to fight near the volcano camp
Fighting dragons is best part of the game? Why would you want to skip a fight?! Odd.
Honestly this game has made me appreciate my job more as nothing feels so much like a chore than playing it
I wish I found this video before I completed everything. I didn’t have much time to free roam. I’ll save this video for when I make it back again! Great video !
If you did not kill the gigantuas before this, he wont appear for you to get the " I Talos" Achivmenet, i messed that up so need to do it in NG+ :(
i wasn't able to kill him before going into the unmoored world, so since he wont appear is it impossible to stop the fog from progressing?
dont worry bro, i didnt buy the dogma items and started ng+ by accident
@@ProfessorBuckz No, you can still do it. Just be careful that you don't sleep too many times before doing the beacons. If you don't sleep or pass the time manually you have infinite time. So how much time you have in the Unmoored world is just based on how good you are at the game and how often you need to sleep to refill health.
@@Mrdood999 God bless my brother
@@Mrdood999 How can you do it if you didn't fight him? I can't find the corpse.
Nothing but Talos' arm is in my Unmoored world, I'm on day 2 with access to the full map and only the final red beacon in Seafloor remains.
Successfully evacuated all the locations: Excavation Site, Volcanic Island, Sacred Arbor, Vernworth, and Bakbattahl too.
I ran on foot from Bakbattahl, past the Volcanic Island Camp, past the arm by the lava, all the way to the point where I believe Talos goes in the lava and didn't find it
I got the achievement for evacuating all the settlements after only evacuacting the 3 main cities (Vernworth, Bakbathal, Arbor).
What about all the trails
Quality of life tip for Ferrystones, there are a bunch on the path south from Harve village to the Seafloor shrine. There's a quest to escort the crazy man near the portcrystal to Seafloor shrine and on the way there are several just laying on the ground
Just completed it now before watching the video. Assumed that red beacon was just another bossfight but it was the ending cutscene and now I can only go to NG+ no going back.
I'm a little disapointed with the endgame tbh. It's really cool, but then with basically the one quest and couple of the red beacons it really only takes a few hours.
Did u get the gear as well
@@egordon7543same boat as op, missed gear cuz wasn't expecting to be taken straight into ng+ w no way back.
@@egordon7543 I got the gear for myself but only a few pieces for my pawn.
I’m pretty much done with the game now tho. Moving on to something else.
NG+ seems pretty pointless. Looks like enemies don’t really scale up so you’re just one shotting everything at the start.
@@bonecollector5you can get the gear from the same dude in new game plus
yeah I didn't realise I could leave the seafloor town I thought I would be stuck there
Just to be more specific: for the Trophy " Dragon's dogma" you need to buy the one-hand sword (as its name suggests)
Wow thanks! Wish I knew that before I spund all my gems in armors lol
Thank you for this, bro legitimately just gives in... Saved my run, appreciate it.
I was able to do it by:
- finding a rift pawn with the specialization of Woodland Wordsmith to speak elvish
- speaking to the man with the bow in the public area that leads you to his father, the leader. I kept talking to the father* for a while until he kept saying the same things
- cleared the red rift in arbor heart
- resting a night at the inn
- going back to speak to the father, he gives in and evacuates
Just worked for me, Thanks!
Didnt work for me. Followed each step and he still wont leave
@@dabeedlittlehale7513 I had spammed speaking to him the first time for a few minutes straight. Not sure if that makes a difference. Not sure if it's time locked to a time of day either
@@dabeedlittlehale7513 also just edited my post to specify spamming the father, not his son
Just a small nitpick but you don't need to climb to the underside of Grigori (The Dragon) to Godsbane yourself.
True
I missed the evacuation quest in Battahl after finding my pawn, I destroyed the dragon but went straight to seafloor shrine after that, I killed all the Dragons and went back to Battahl last but the NPC is nowhere to be found for me to evacuate the city, Any clues?
PSA: If you don't get the beacon at Volcanic Island it is because of how you defeated Talos (both his arms are still intact). In that case, He will defeat the 2 dragons for you after you activate him
So does that mean I can just go ahead with the evacuation quest then?
@@Tech_D3mon yes you can
@@og2hot ok cool thanks
A cool tip. If u stock up on allheal elixir you’ll have a easier time avoiding using any type of rest or wakestone to fully heal your health

Not that they're easy to come by, but definitely save them for the Unmoored world as they're just a free rest if you need it for pretty much any reason at all.

Finally got 100% on my second full playthrough. Thanks for the guide. I want to let people know that the 4th beacon on the volcanic island did not spawn for me, but I still got everything. Unsure why this happened.

@@user-fj4xp8dl7y brand should be at his normal spot at the tavern.
That's where I found him
That same beacon didn't spawn for me either.
Did you end up missing out on that boss fight?
Thankyou 😅
The most useful guide
You are a Godsend thank you for this video i just landed here last night
definitely going on my DD2 playlist along with the Sphinx quest. Fkin thanks man.
For those who did not complete the quest "Ailing Arborhart" or fu*k up because you evacuate Bakbathal before elf people resulting in the quest gone.
You can still evacuate elves (advice to do it after you clear all the red light except the last one at the shrine for Ng+, so that the red fog does not invade the land)
1. talk with the leader (he will say something like "no, I won't...."
2. sleep until morning
3. talk with the leader 2nd time (he will say "pray, leave us...."
4. sleep again til morning
5. talk with leader 3rd time (will say "why do you persist...."
6. sleep again til morning
7. talk with leader again, this time he will admit defeat and evacuate the people, even though you didn't complete the Ailing Arborhart quest.
(i dont remender if he admit defeat on 4th day or 5th day, just do it until he gave up)
basically just sleep and keep talking to him every day until he gave up, that's what work for me. Thank god I did not give up when the quest for Ailing Arborhart is gone because I cannot complete the rotten apple/fish thing ;)
This is a good guide. However, you failed to mention that you need high affinity with Lamond in order for him to accept the request. So when I asked him, he declined my offer.
Do his Warfarer maister quest. He wants Newt liquor
u saved my game :D thanks for the video !
If not let me know
after taking care of the Vernworth red pillar, this guide should be: go find Brant in the tavern, NOT Sven
I mean, if you talk to Sven then he tells you to talk to Brant, so I don't know why you're putting that comment.
Dude you helped me so much ^^
For the elves part you do not need to do the quest line simply hire someone who speaks elven and they’ll evacuate when you run the dialogue to the point where the admits defeat
Great video bro, you saved my ass. Much appreciated ❤
I appreciate this guide so much, thank you.
What a Fn legend thx mate
so when last beacon show up it free time for me to farming then. mannn i wish i knew this before XD thank you
Damn, the last place bunch of people I needed to save were the pawns, but they ended up being destroyed after I slept a couple of times to convince the elves to leave.
@user-fy1ku9ft5d still got them from the bosses :)
You dont need to go under the dragon. You can use the godsway blade/godsbane on yourself on the dragons neck.
Awesome,thanks!
Thanks its a really great guide!
I did all the beacons first, only using allheals, never slept/ saved, fog hasnt moved at all - its the same as when i were thrown in the map

I killed all the dragons on a speedrun and I’d swear the dog has started to recede, just gotta save vermund and do the arbor quest and get them out since I never did and I’m all done then to grind wyrnslife for my pawn to armor up
Awesome guide thanks 🙏🏼 🎉
What makes me paranoid after completing the evacuation quest is that there are freakin escort quests, teleported to Backbattal so I can finally start farming for other mats and Ragnall was posted up by the bar for an escort to the seafloor ruins like!?
I know that Brandt has one as well but his was easier I noped going the long way for ragnall and just ferrystoned to get it over with
I am in the unmoored world now. I did this morning and had to start it over...

You probably shouldnt have started a new vocation on the hardest part of the game

What happens if the fog progresses? Do you die and have to do it all again? Or does it start new game plus?
Sux you aren’t getting a more experienced response than this, but from what I read, you just lose access to those areas and you can’t do anything w them anymore.

I evacuated the elves before full completion of the Arborheart mission. I only got as far as mixing up the cauldron.
Dude, I have done this, following your excellent guide (Ty) 2 times, but both times I do NOT have the beacon in the volcanic island, do you have any idea why? I have completed all the quests and side quests that I know of, plus I have completed almost all the hidden achievements in the game. thanks.
Why would they make all this so convoluted? Who would do this without a guide?
I did without a guide, just pay attention to people conversation and if they say something take it seriously because that really will happen also the oracle help you a lot in what to do next.
Where is Lord Phaesus when the empress asks that you convince him to evacuate the city with the rest of the townsfolk?
Also lets hope we get a Bitter Black Isle soon in some free DLC
Cheers all.
Lamond didn't want to go with me for some reason, but he responded positively to you. Not sure why...
Newt liquor.😅
can you rest normaly after you clear the quests or will the fog keep advancing?
Think it advances and eventually when you rest a cutscene plays and the world ends, it’s like you have 2 attempts.. and obv places get covered up as you rest and can’t go back to them
The old dude in the volcanic island just disappeared, idk where he went and I have no idea what to do now
Swear the elf leader only joins when the red mist is one day away(red mist on map is next to sacred arbour) coz he wasn’t for following me until I spoke to his son tried to convince him I left did everything else went back and now he will come
you can also pick up the queen and take her to her son and she meekly calls for the guards who don't do shit
