I watched this when it first aired, but now I realize this was a parody of when Sundar Pichai testified to Congress about how Google uses data they collect, and Steve King asked Pichai why his granddaughter's iPhone had certain memes of her grandpa.
So amazing series! It shows the reality of making startups: innovative idea, wonderful team, sincere desire to make the world a better place. This scene is so touching in a row with the last scene
@@TheMiccoliGroup I haven't watched the show (I've only seen the clips), but I thought the whole point was that servers won't be needed as everyone's devices would be used and it is efficient because of Richard's algorithm
Decentralization does not truly exist at any significant scale right now. Web 3 is a step in that direction, but is not truly decentralized as Dhruv said. Maybe we’ll get there one day.
The woman sadly walking away after richard doesn't want the normal microphone is such a nice touch.
Such a great scene. Massively underrated, I want this in real life!
the best part is when the senator calls the mic "the machine"

Me thinking absolutely this is why we need the Decentralized internet
The problem is the cost of running those servers. It's not free.

@@TheMiccoliGroup yeah it's way to expensive, as is the democracy in general, that's a tradeoff.
No comments?. This is the best scene in "Silicon Valley" by far. Great video man. Thanks for the clip
Thank you :)
Exactly. Yet they all have an apple computer, what an irony!
Justice baby!
Datagedon
Richard landed it here🔥🔥
Web3 ! Decentralized internet. Richard got it 3 years earlier
web3 is not decentralized

Thomas middleditch is the king of slapstick.
King? Are you sure about that, pal ?
You mean user right?
I don't think Gene Rayburn or Bob Barker had this problem with microphones.
Then men in suits will come after him next
May be these big companies were behind Richards failure
Nope, they dissolved the company because AI started decrypting all the data
The Truth is out
RIGBY the second hand embarrassment is really strong. RIGBY!
