@@SassyFunke how can one get hold of you?
First timers..pls never collect anything from anybody to hold for in d airport...only thing u should focus on & holding onto is ur luggages..apart from that nothing else
Great tips. Thanks for sharing. Hope you subscribed :)
This video is so insightful... In the course of watching, I felt like I was the one traveling

salty kiwi This means a lot to me. Thank you so much and hope you subscribed :)
This was a useful video Sassy! Would you consider making one for our guest who may be traveling into Lagos for the first time? If so, please include details concerning transportation options to their hotel.
Thank you. I did do a video about someone traveling to Lagos and included transportation options. I'll look and attach to this thread.
Very informative. Have long been looking for info like this. Thanks so much.
The exodus is real.Highly informative.I remember the feeling too traveling on a flight for the first time😖😪
Thank you so much for this video. I sent this video to my mum and dad who will be flying the first time. I tried explaining things to them but your video is very thorough and helpful.
Can you do one for flying within Nigeria if you have not done so? I guess a lot of people would appreciate that too.
Thank you so much for sharing this helpful video! As a minor traveling for the first time with my little sister, your tips have been invaluable. Feeling much more prepared now!
Seriously, this is very useful ... I wish every first traveller would considered listening to this piece of information. Great work.
Thank you. I appreciate it!
This is really good. You forgot to mention the restriction about taking fluids greater than 100ml in size as hand luggage. These will not be permitted as hand luggage
@@cimcoder Hi John , I wasn’t referring to food items so am unable to assist with that. I was referring to the long standing rule regarding fluids. You cannot take any liquid with a volume greater than 100ml onto a plane be it a liquid to drink or a medical fluid such as contact lense fluid. This rule has been in place for many years. Any container containing fluid should clearly state the full volume on the container. Hope that helps
@@cimcoder I forgot to mention that this liquid rule applies only to carry on luggage and not cargo luggage. All hand luggage will be searched and any fluid container greater than 100ml will be removed by security
I loved every bit of this video! 🙏🏾
Thank you Sassy. Very helpful

Claim tags should be kept properly & your checked in baggages are retrieved at the baggage belt when arrived.
Check in your toiletries/sanitaries I.e toothpaste, perfumes, etc.

Honestly this is useful for first time flyer
not a 1st-time traveler but this definitely eased the anxiety about our upcoming trip to Naija :) We'll have 3 young kids with us - is the airport so overcrowded that we need to have some kind of safety restraints on the kids?
Glad the video helped with your anxiety. With 3 young kids , I would advise on some safety restraints as it does get very busy at the airport. Hope that helps! :)
God bless you for this video. You Will live long
Thanks ma. This video is very useful. Love You
Ur video is very useful thanks for the advice 😊😊❤
I enjoyed the video
Thanks once more
The major issue is with those rogues in uniform who extort first time travellers. If that gang can be successfully dealt with, it's pretty straightforward.
You're right. There still needs to be more work done to stop extortion and yes first time travellers are more likely to be extorted as they don't understand how things work.
@@SassyFunke I'm flying to Nigeria for the first time in October. Because of horror stories I've heard about Lagos airport... I'm scared to death. I'm praying it doesn't show when I get there. 🙁
Thanks for this wonderful video

Very informative and useful. Thanks for taking time to do this video and share. You didn't talk, about customs opening ones bags to use physical eye to see what's inside, cos I remember seeing that happen, few times.
Glad you enjoyed it. Customs are no longer allowed to open anyones bags anymore upon check in (thats why I didn't mention it). Hope you're subscribed :)
Hello Funke. Thank you for this. Quick question; for first time travelers with just a carry on; do we need to bring out a liquids bag? And is your carryon typically weighed?

Hi, I have a little question to ask, my flight is on Tuesday next week by 1:40pm Ethiopian airline, but I don't have my visa at hand because I was told to pick up my visa on Tuesday 10am because I was supposed to pick it up at the DHL office on Monday against Tuesday but due to the public holiday that they have, they shifted it to Tuesday by 10am, I don't know if it is possible for me to board my flight on that Tuesday. Am confused
I need a suggestion, I tried to reschedule for Wednesday but the rescheduling fee is $400 which is too expensive. I was told my someone to go very early to the international airport and check in my luggage. While waiting for my brother to quickly help me get the visa at DHL office. I don't if it is possible to quickly check in my luggage before my brother get to the airport with my visa. Any suggestions
Helpful, thanks
Nice one ✌️
