And this could explain Thomas being overprotective about his coaches whenever an engine takes them w/o his permission or not knowing who Annie & Clarabel are his prized possessions.
I like to think given that Easton was ashamed of his actions, when he returned home, he improved on himself and eventually worked his way up to be allowed to pull passenger trains. Since the J69s actually did pull passenger trains in real life. I also liked how Thomas was handled. It would be easy to write him as cheeky and rub it in Easton's face. But Thomas just kept to himself and was responsible. I thought that was a nice change. Lovely stuff man.
"Because Thomas EARNED his branch line." Okay, I was NOT expecting Gordon of all engines to stand up for Thomas. That's actually a heartwarming thing for him to do. I also like how Thomas cares so much about Annie and Clarabel and sets up his protectiveness of them. I wonder how he felt when Percy took Annie and Clarabel when the big engines were on "strike"? I hope Easton learns from this and has a solid job on a heritage railway. I like this story very much. Your vocal range is great! You do a great job with the audio productions!
Interesting story. That would've made sense since Thomas was absent from the main line during some of the episodes. And it would certainly be a buildup to elephants, tenders, and turntables.
Jeez this is an amazing audio story, I love that someone finally wrote a story about one of the other loaned engines besides 98462 and 87546. I'm glad you were the one who wrote it, also making him J69 also works well. It's great to see another audio story from you.
Great story. I was also disappointed by the outcome. I too had hoped that Easton would learn from his behavior, and try to be sensible. But no, he had to give in to his worst instinct and steal Thomas's coaches. I hope that back on the mainland, he's come to grips with his actions, and tried to improve himself as an engine.
That was a very interesting story, having a G69 tank engine as one of the “loaned” engines during the NWR’s early years during the mid 1920’s. The story about Easton was good too, since there haven’t been that much stories or info about some of the other loaned engines that once appeared in the rws, or never shown in the tv series. You did a nice job on the audio story and narration of Easton the other tank engine narrow gauge, as well of the image edits. 👍
A very good story about the other little blue tank engine. There aren't a lot of stories about him, in fact this and my own take are the only ones out there. To my knowledge at least. Easton did remind me a bit of how Ryan was portrayed in Sudrian Conflict. What type of engine is Easton?
You've been busy. I thought the unknown blue tank engine from the Railway Series version of Troublesome Trucks shunting James's train was sent away after trolling the red engine
Another excellent piece of work Narrow gauge, I believe that Easton was the Holden S56 tank engine from the Great Eastern Railway, which I believe where Toby was before he was on the tramway in East Anglia, that is something familiar that I must admit
I like to think the same but mabye many years from now when no other tank engine is available, they find easton’s papers and purchase and soon become a permanent member on the NWR , just a nice way to say
I wonder if there could be a follow-up story when Percy arrives during the big engines' "strike" and Thomas' reaction to him temporarily taking Annie and Clarabel?

There is still good in Gordon

A most intriguing story

Have you seen Engine Arrival? There are many loaned engines on the North Western Railway including Giles, Tyler, Noah, Afton and Alfred

So that’s why Thomas doesn’t want anyone else pulling his coaches.
You really do make the best audio stories.

That or he's scraped.
@@watershipfalls5520 i hope not. Or if so, that it wasn't due to his bad behavior.
Wow! What a story!😮
Awesome work, mate! This feels like a lost episode from S1!😁👍
Great story I hope you can make another video of easton return to sodor after learns his lesson
Something funny I just realized is that Easton's name is similar to my name. A fine story Narrow Gauge!
I stari startin to thinking that Easton did bot survive the beaching axe.

My guess is something like a J69?
@@ajaxengineco yeah, GER S56 / LNER J69
I'd say GER S56/LNER J69

Amazing Work!
His lack of eyebrows disturbs me
Great work!
Mabye u should make a series about this , about the loaned engines
Easton? His Name Looks A Little Different To Eon And Euston, But Quite Similar And A Nice One Too. So, Good Work On This Video.

Considering what BR does to steam engines and how rare they are to find, it's very unlikely...

I almost read it as "euston"
Then we would have a problem 😂

Nice story! Also, what class is Easton supposed to be? Clearly an engine from the GER, I assume.
I think he's supposed to be an s56
He doesn't exactly look like it, but the class I had in mind was the J69.
@@narrowgauge9717 the s56 later became the j69 after grouping

What GER engine is Easton based off of?
What do you think happened to Easton after he was sent packing?
Hey Narrow gauge are we allowed to use your non-horror narrations?
Wait, that's not Thomas.
What is Eastons basis?
GER Class S56/LNER Class J69
GER Class S56/LNER Class J69.
easton probably did not surivive the beeching acts
is easton the cousin of thomas?
I doubt it, becuase Thomas came from the LBSCR while Easton came from the GER.
Easton is a LBSCR E2?
No his a GER Class S56 Later LNER J69
Yeah that's the wrong part of England.
Great story, but I think you missed an opportunity to make Easton a female character.
Marklin should meet Easton in a future video, Easton is one of Thomas's brother's after all.
@narrowgauge9717
Easton is not Thomas' brother because Thomas is from the LBSCR & Easton is from the GER.
@julyleonard They're the same class of engine aren't they?
