Uhwarrie Off Road & Dickey Bell Trail | Overlanding and Rock Crawling Uhwarrie National Forest

- Part two of our North Carolina overlanding adventure! A slight change of plans due to weather led us to seek a dry camping spot in the Uhwarrie National Forest, which also gave us time to take on Dickey Bell Jeep Badge of Honor Trail.
The nice thing about camping in Uhwarrie National Forest, is that we were near friends that decided to join us on a day of wheeling the offroad trails of the Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex, the only public OHV trail system in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. Our off road adventure was too big for just one episode, so in this episode, we take you for a full day of wheeling the Uhwarrie OHV Trails. Our friend Bryan and Combat Crawlers Jason and Clint brought their Jeep JL Wranglers to guide us through the trails, including Dickey Bell.
The next day, Bryan stayed around to guide us on our way out, while towing our Patriot Campers X1-H. Lucky for us, Bryan is a Patriot Campers X3 owner and knew the perfect route to test the trailer's Cruisemaster suspension and DO35 Hitch.
The Uhwarrie OHV Trail system did not disappoint. Hill Climbs, Rocks to crawl, trails to explore and possible mud makes it an ideal place to wheel for a weekend.

You guy's have a great channel! Crazy question, who makes the propane bottles on the X1H? Planning on ordering a X1H in February but wanting to add a mount and bottle into my Jeep that is cross compatible for trips before.

Hey David, thanks for watching! Really appreciate it. I believe the propane tanks are 10 lb cylinders… but there’s no manufacturer listed that I can see. As long as you get the tall thin cylinder and not the short fat one… you should be good. To be extra sure, you can always check with the dealer.
