Congrats! ☺️
I LOVE THIS
YEAH BUDDY !!!
Well done Scotty. U weren't wrong
So strange to listen to Scotty's narration without seeing him wave his arms to the cadence of his speech. He would have made a fine orchestral conductor.
Scotty on animal tranquilizers
REV UP YOUR ENGINEEEES!!!!
Or a living breathing wacky waving inflatable flailing arm tube man
And no yelling
Yes, the voice tone is more serene in this; and better suited to this mini documentary.
I swear this narrator sounds just like Scotty Kilmer
EE GW without the yelling!
It sounds more like Scotty Kilmers dad.
@@FredTheLutinoCocatiel No Scotty's dad has passed away some time ago.
@@user-zt9qq1fs7n without calling everyone stupid 😆
I think it’s Morgan freeman
There’s going to be a whole entire episode dedicated to the 1994 Celica.
Lmao! True
😂😂😂😂 no matter how many channels he makes the 1994 toyota celica will always follow him!!
He gotta give the people what they want.
Only? I was hoping for a series!
“Responsible for the design and manufacturing of many fine cars, such as the 1994 Celica...and others.”
It’s hard to listen to this narrator when I can’t see his hands moving.
😂😭
And also his body diagonally shifting forward and back.
It’s so weird listening to Scotty without the hand movements and the laughing horse pictures
Same Here. Im Like Wtf is Going On..?
I love how Scotty still uses his own voice in this professional documentary.
Well it is his channel so
He sounds pretty good too.
Well he is a professional
@@thechimp9379 and he has been for over 52 years now 😏
Judging from the comments either a lot of people didn't get the joke, or there was no joke and I misunderstood. I thought you were implying that the voice he uses in his other videos isn't his real voice--because in this video he sounds normal but in the car repair videos he sounds like he's completely wired. IIRC my very first comment on his car repair videos page was "Have you tried decaf?" I love them all though. I play at 1.5 speed because the human brain can process info faster than most humans can speak. I encourage everyone to try increasing the speed on UA-cam videos.
The calm voice caught me off guard from the usual Scotty. Scotty should totally voice documentaries.
I envy Scotty's energy. Almost 70, yet as energetic as a teen, equally innovative and creative.
I have a feeling hes still making hand gestures while hes narrating, that would be amazing.
We all know him too well.
Part 2: "How a '94 Celica was born", followed by a picture of a laughing hyena.
The Laughing Hyena was born for the American car market😂😂😂😂😂
And the picture of a Chevy dealership the junkyard😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
I feel like this should be played on the History Channel
@patrick henry not really. More like "Modern Marvels" for car enthusiasts and history buffs.
This is a lot better than the mess History Channel has now... Ancient Aliens, the never ending Oak Island, and how many times can you watch someone haul a dead alligator into their boat?
@@Chevroldsmobuiac LOL Dead alligators..
How are we gonna interact with Scotty if his on tv?
@@Chevroldsmobuiac ancient aliens is good
Finally, 2020 gives us something to look forward to.
Hey Scotty, I want to say that I have been watching your videos since youtube started. I learned a lot and I pursued to become a mechanic. After 7 years I love what I do. I had passion for cars and fix them and after watching your videos got me inspire to pursue this career. Thank you Scotty and I love the channel.
Not gonna lie, I was very hesitant when hearing Scotty was starting another channel seemed like a passionless cash grab... F*** was I wrong! Love the new format, subbing right now!!!
Alex yeah hes more of the endless money pit type.
My exact thought but this is great!
Scotty doesn't need money, he has said long ago that the land where he lives is worth alot of money and he has been offered big bucks to sell but he ain't selling it, it's a good location in Texas
Came here to witness the launch of this new channel. The quality is boundless. I am here waiting for the next video. Welldone Scotty!!!👍👍👍
Who else can see Scotty waving his arms while recording the voice over? 😂
I, for one, can't. This is the calmest I've ever heard Scotty. I enjoyed it.
Almost made me fall asleep lol
And wearing sunglasses as he reads lines off screen
Scotty, wave 'em like you just don't care ! ! !
Lol. Im dead. Yep. Legend has it. Scotty still waves his hands when he talks until day.
You're a natural teacher, Scotty.
Here's to hearing about Deming and Taguchi.
This new direction you're taking is absolutely game-changing
How?
Where is CarKiller at tho
Seriously floored me. This was so...not like anything I imagined; interesting and informative, yes, but in a completely different (imaginative and visual) format that definitely showcases production.
Well said!
Fun fact: The narrator, Scotty Kilmer, has been a mechanic for over 50 years. Of course he's gonna do amazing at these types of videos!
This feels like a top class documentary. Love Scotty's calm voice. Absolutely love it.
Thank you, Scotty. I'm a 73 yr. old Polio survivor and up until 2 yrs ago I worked at Hammett's Garage here in Tucson. I bought a 98 Towncar for $500 with a busted front intake manifold. The part that was redesigned with aluminum to run hot water through. Your 485,000 mile Towncar you showcased convenienced me. Bought an "improved" intake for under $100 and am in the process of installing it. Thanks again. I've become a fan.
If you were my high school history teacher,I would’ve paid more attention in school haha..good job Scotty, congrats on the new channel
Roger Neves if they showed you this video you would’ve looked away. Great vid but we are immature kids
When Scotty does the history of Chevrolet will there be a lot of background pictures of junkyards ? : )
LOL
It will be part of the dirty jobs series 😹
Bahahaha awesome
There should be the Toyota Landcruiser and the Fremont, CA plant.
Just wait till he does the history of Fiat
I don't know who is editing this/these videos but whoever they are, they are doing a great job. Great video, looking forward to part 2.
I never thought Scotty's voice would be fine for narrating a short but wholesome documentary. Thank you Scotty, keep it up!
He wasn't kidding about the quality. This is great!
Scotty is the living proof that “if you put your mind to it, you can do anything”.
You only have 1 time for a first impression. Home Run Scotty.
So true - not only is it clear that Scotty has his funny side, but he has now made it clear that when he wants to take a more professional tone, he can do that as well.
@Terminology! First impression for his new channel; this undoubtedly will be targeting a different audience, so he will have many new first impressions. Even to his old viewers, this is still a new type of content, so he will have to paint the picture of how he wants this new content to be perceived.
Makes sense, no?
Damn straight!
Definitely touched all the bases
Don’t know who is doing your editing but it is PROFESSIONAL!
@YaBoiRyan It's them Autonauts
Who ever this guy is, he just landed a spot on my list of people whom i want to read me a bedtime story. Right up there with Morgan Freeman, Scotty Kilmer, and Christopher Walken

Yes! I was thinking the same thing.
Scotty this video was excellent! Please keep making them!
Scotty, you have an excellent voice for narration and this is an impressive presentation.
Bravo. Wonderful piece of automotive history. Anxious for your next entry. Wishing you much success Scotty.
I wonder how long until i see "how Chrysler became an endless money pit" in my recommended?
Top-notch work Scotty!
I would like to see this, and for GM
For years I’ve thought that Morgan Freeman should narrate my life. Now, I realize the correct answer is Scotty Kilmer! Amazing video. I can’t wait for part 2👍🏻
He's good the perfect voice and style...
Fun fact: Scotty has an Emmy and Morgan freeman lost twice.
Daniel X shows what a low bar
What I said . He should be a voice at Epcot at Disney world.
Yer perfect voice I thought that too
Wow. Can't imagine the work put into editing this. Hats off to you, sir.
i think he didnt do the editing tho
HECKproductions its still really good editing for the first video
This was a video I didn’t know I needed. The story and cinematics were on spot. I also liked the casual inclusion of “Americans didn’t like the name”. Well done, Scotty!

Now this is the type of documentaries I can get lost in. Not because of the cars but because of the edits and story telling skills.

I just found this from the Scotty Kilmer channel and I must say this was a very satisfying and interesting video to watch. Can't wait for more.
