Some people dont want the help. they need to get to the worse spot they have ever been in and realize my life is always gonna be like this. Atleast thats how it went for me. 3 weeks before i turned 30 i realized it. walked into a methadone clinic and now 7 years later im finally off that shit too. it was sometime in may. friends and family ask a date, i usually laugh and tell them it doesnt matter why would i remember the day i quit. that life is dead and burried.

Weaning off methadone right now, thank you for the hope shot. I am doing this while raising my two year old daughter and believe this is it for me it has to be or I'll loose her.
Getting off this drug has and is hell on earth I don't wish the withdrawals on my worst enemy. So I am doing it slow and steady this time, it's killing me and I just want freedom so badly I am still a slave.
I just am feared up about how bad it's going to be and if I can still take care of her while fighting this battle. Pray for me and congratulations on over coming and getting clean, thanks for sharing. And I love Brandon always have.

@@morgandailey4998 take your time. I noticed that when dropping, if I went by 20 percent every two weeks I would feel it. 10 percent wasn’t bad. At least where I’m from you can go down by 0.5 instead of 1. Didn’t find out until I got down to 0.5 that I could do that. Take your time don’t rush it. If you need time to plane off again stay there for a couple weeks to let your body relax a little. I noticed once down around 3.0 it’s not as bad as dropping down from the teens. Take your time and when you get off of it you will feel like the first time you did an opiate, felt like I could take on the world. Been off for around two months now. Stay strong it’s not as bad as you are thinking it’s going to be. 2 weeks is a good time frame for me because it would take my body about 10 days to normalize. Stay strong it’s all in the mind.
