This is my first attempt at point and shoot photos. I just dusted of this model of camera my mom had in the 90's and I remember smiling into. great video, i'm looking forward to your future videos.
Heyy, it was blurry because the zoom is meant for objects near you. It’s specifically to focus on details, example, the leaf on a flower in front of you
Thanks for the video! I stumbled across this same camera at my local thrift store today!! but I was not as lucky as you with the camera working after I put fresh batteries in :(
thank you for watching! my favorite film stock is kodak gold 200, but i’d recommend a higher ISO film so it functions better in low light: portra 400, portra 800, cinestill 800t, etc.
This was so helpful!! Okay question...my dad bought me this camera for christmas and I love it! i'm a new film camera owner, so i guess I'm stressed out that it's not taking pictures but I loaded the film exactly how you showed it. Is there a way to see how many exposures I have left? I'm thinking probably not, but it would be so nice to know haha
Depending on the type of film you use, you will probably have a total of either 24 or 36 exposures. The canister your film comes in will tell you. As long as you have loaded the film properly, the display to the right of your viewfinder (where you put your eye to look through the camera) will show you the number of exposures you have taken. You can then subtract this by the total number of exposures your film stock has to find out how many you have left!
my apologies for the very late reply. i usually go to a lab to have the film developed and then i scan the film myself with an epson v600, but you can also have the lab scan for you and send you the files
really sorry for the late reply! in my opinion, any point & shoot that needs any type of repair, i’d stay away from because of the fact that they’re not built in a way that makes repairs easy. i’d probably try to find a tested and working one

How do I know when the film is finished?
@@abcdefggfedcba21979 hey Jordyn, the film should automatically rewind once you’ve used up all the exposures. it’ll also say 00 on the top
In 1999, in 2000, in 2001, I took excellent pictures in Barcelona. The Pentax lens is very good! My secret: Kodak Gold 200

Does the same batteries for pentax 150r zoom work?
Yes, both cameras take CR123A batteries
Which goodwill location did you thrift this camera at?
I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was one of the ones in Beaverton on or near NW Cornell Rd.
Do i need to remove battery once i off the camera?
You don’t need to, but if you’re going to store the camera or not use it for a while, I’d remove the batteries
