I have a canon sure shot similar to your Pentax. The default setting is what camera will set the iso if you cover the DX on the film canister.also you can buy a set of DX stickers to change the iso on a roll of film
Now that is cool. It never occurred to me, and I didn't even consider look for DX code stickers, but it makes sense. Thanks for bringing that up and teaching an ol' man. Just ordered a set of 400 for my Arista film.
Thank you for commenting. It is a good thought and idea; however, I would have to consider packing a wide variety of batteries for the wide variety of ol' cameras out there. The Pentax in this presentation took the CR123 battery as an example. In addition, giving Arizona's harsh climate especially during the summers, it's not wise to stow batteries or even camera gear in a car over a period of time.

A thought. May want to have some AA and AAA batteries available in the car to test a camera of choice.
