I went to a Gibraltar Rack about 14 years ago and I love it. You can expand, upgrade, downsize whatever you need as your playing needs change. Start with a two leg V or curved front and go from there, there are plenty of add ons to fit all your needs.
awesome to get back to the rack videos. and i actually prefer the black clamps, i like the industrial look they give. the chrome is almost too clean. and i dig the innuendos..funny funny stuff :)
The pricing we have available is MSRP, which will not be of any help. We aren’t able to give a specific price because not every dealer sells our products at the same price. Thanks for asking tho as this often comes up.
I just purchased the curved front rack. The only problem I had with it was that the vertical legs wanted to tilt inwards, at a noticeable angle, from top to bottom. It took me a while to figure out that the curved cross bar must be perfectly level or it will cause the vertical legs to angle. Brent, it would be helpful if you added a little blurb highlighting this potential problem and how to avoid it.
Marc Love thanks for the comment. I’m glad you were able to figure out the leg issue. We have addressed that issue in a number of other videos, but I know we have a lot of stuff to sift through. I will make a note to do a stand-alone video of this so that it is easy to find. Thanks!
i really want to convert my drum set to one of these rack sets with all my cymbals and tom toms mounted but idk anything about this hardware and i have no idea where to start
ok, I have that exact rack.....playing a set of Tama drums and I need to mount my two front toms....your rack comes with the quick clamps (2) on the front bar.....what do I need to purchase to put on to those clamps to mount my toms? Thanks guys!
Would I be able to fit: 8inch, 10inch, 12inch and 13inch on a 46 inc cross bar? In total they would take up about 43 inches, so would leaving 3 inches be too little?
Are these new rack models only sold in the US? I am from Germany and I would love to buy the GCS375C because it is exactly what I am looking for... I can only find the 400C here which has those (imo) strange looking curved vertical bars
I did find out that the GCS-375C is available to dealers in the German market. So if you go to a Gibraltar store they should be able to order it for you.
I have a set of premier drums. I restored them. Putting them back together, I have a problem. The bass has two holes for Tom mounts. The problem is, I can't tighten down the bars holding up the Tom's? Help
Hey man, got any ideas for a drum package I could buy or a kit that is fairly cheap (£500-£600) that I could use this rack for? I mean like a kit that's £600 and then I buy a rack? Thanks :) Taras
GRS look nice, but lack of cymbal holders in top of the legs makes it lame, I wonder what are the diameters of the legs, if it would be possible to mount Gibraltar "tubes" on my current Sonor 400 series stands (mid parts) ?
+GibraltarDIY GCS-450C isn't quite what I'd need (but I have already ran across that big package, so it's not that bad I guess) actually I checked some other videos you have, and particularly NBO #14 helped me a lot to get better idea about my possible setup, I guess I'd just stick to straight tubes and GCSMC clamps for everything (including mics) - it's time to *finish* the drumkit, since I finished my mini home studio :)) i.imgur.com/uw4V2Qk.jpg
Thomas Jones years you can. It 1 front rack over each bass drum, and a side rack connected to each front rack. This would give you 2 dual sided racks on each side combined to make one large set up. If you wanted, you could connect the front leg of each front rack together with a small connector bar. It would have a similar appearance as Chris Adler's set up. However the GCS300C was recently discontinued and replaced with the GCS302C. The only difference is there were 2 boom arms added
The GCS375 can hold heavier drums. However, if you are planning to mount heavy drums/floor toms to one of the wings, this will jeopardize stability. In order to hang a floor tom, you will need another support leg on the right side. But rack toms on the main cross bar will be fine
Memory locks are only a must when talking heavy cymbals in my opinion. I have no issues with my toms, but my ride cymbal has a memory lock otherwise it'll slip with time. But seriously... this thing is indeed sturdy!
Hey Andres, to remove fingerprints, oil, and dirt,, windex and a rag works like a charm. If you are trying to remove rust, then you might try using steel wool and some kind of rust remover.
I'm trying to make a hybrid of the first two racks. Basically just using a 24" wing for the left of the drummer while having the full side extension on the right. That way I can get in and out of my kit easy, and I don't have cymbals that far back to my left. I've got ride, crash and China on my right. Anyway, I'm having a heck of a time finding who's got everything. Anybody know a good dealer who's got everything for a good deal?. Of course I need extra clamps and stuff too
I have a drum setup of 3up and 1 down, 3 toms in the front bar and 2 splashes, 2 crashes 18 & 19 on vertical bars, besides I have a 20 china, crashes 15, 17, 18 and an extra hithat of 14. 15 crash I want to put on the left side, and the rest on the right side near the 19 crash. Thanks for answering :D
+Abraham Treviño You can buy a rack that doesn't corner round where a floor tom would go for about £150 and I think the one that can hold a floor tom where it would normally go is £300 - £350. Not sure, but it's on Amazon I think.

These Brent Hang videos are so helpful. New rack comes in this week! AAAHHH!!! I’m excited.
Glad you guys made the packages in chrome.
The GCS375S rack at 2:53 is very, very nice!
Dude I'm obsessed with Gibraltar I want all their gear so awesome 👌😍!
I might get one of those for my practice kit!
awesome to get back to the rack videos. and i actually prefer the black clamps, i like the industrial look they give. the chrome is almost too clean. and i dig the innuendos..funny funny stuff :)
I wanted a pdp drum rack. I love the snare option.
Does the Gibraltar GCS375C have one 30 inch vertical bar or two because on the Gibraltar website it shows that it only has one 30 inch vertical bar
Can you guys start saying the prices as well? Would be very helpful!

Cool stuff I personally digg the stealth stuff more.

What model is your drum set?!?! It's so beautiful
When can I find the GCS150C in the stores?
Yes, i prefer chrome clamps
Hey, can you do one with the curved vertical posts please?
i really want to convert my drum set to one of these rack sets with all my cymbals and tom toms mounted but idk anything about this hardware and i have no idea where to start
PotatoCthulhu You can start with checking out your favorite artists that use racks and see what they do.
I have the same rack, but the toms can't hold up, They begin to fall immediately...
David Toro sorry to hear you are dealing with this issue. Are you using the memory locks with each clamp?
do an episode on double bass racks
Yes, we have it planned and will doing one... I think in the spring. thanks!!
is it ok to stack the drums?
I seen gibraltar mount DW drums, mapex, and Tama. Can you also mount drums like pearl or sound percussion
i really love this
Can I run my cables through it like a Roland rack for electronic drums? Thanks
You can take the end caps off and do that, yes.
ok, I have that exact rack.....playing a set of Tama drums and I need to mount my two front toms....your rack comes with the quick clamps (2) on the front bar.....what do I need to purchase to put on to those clamps to mount my toms? Thanks guys!
Hi Cyril, it sounds like you need tom holders. Have a look at the SC-BCLR-M. This works perfect with Tama
Brent do you own that drumset
Black looks better!
Would I be able to fit: 8inch, 10inch, 12inch and 13inch on a 46 inc cross bar? In total they would take up about 43 inches, so would leaving 3 inches be too little?
You will need to mount either he 8" or 13" on one of the side wings
+GibraltarDIY thank you Bret. you saved me from anxiety
Hi, would I be able to fit 8" 10" and 12" rack toms on the 46 inch cross bar?
thats plenty of room for 3 toms
Hi, I have 12, 13 and 14" rack toms on a 46" bar so you will have plenty of room

What about mounted floor toms?
It works good for them as well
No you can actually have the floor tom the correct way on a rack
I have a set of premier drums. I restored them. Putting them back together, I have a problem. The bass has two holes for Tom mounts. The problem is, I can't tighten down the bars holding up the Tom's? Help
Daniel Penn can you send us an email with pictures of your set up to contact@gibraltarhardware.com

i managed to find the rack in the UK i just need help finding the multy clamp
I wanted to buy a GCS375 Rack from USA. So please tell me the weight of the GCS375 Rack, there is a large difference in the cost of India and USA.
can I make a double bass rack out of this?..2 main racks and also 2 sides? would everything sit together?
Thomas Jones years you can. It 1 front rack over each bass drum, and a side rack connected to each front rack. This would give you 2 dual sided racks on each side combined to make one large set up. GibraltarDIY can you send me a link to the exact parts I would need to do that?
Can the GCS375C hold heavy toms and cymbals because (well to me at least) looks like it can't? Or is it better for electronic drums?
The GCS375 can hold heavier drums. However, if you are planning to mount heavy drums/floor toms to one of the wings, this will jeopardize stability. In order to hang a floor tom, you will need another support leg on the right side. But rack toms on the main cross bar will be fine
That tom mount? What is it called?
Brent, Does Gibraltar offer the GRS-850DBL curved double bass rack in a chrome version? Or is that something I'll have to piece together?
Hi Rick, at this point a chrome version will need to be pieced together.
Part number for cymbal mounts?
CODWAWLOVR SC-GCRMC multi clamp.
May i ask, what stops the drums from sliding? Because it's like a tube. Is there an indent or are the clamps just really strong?
Kyle Heslin Ah, ok thanks
Memory locks are only a must when talking heavy cymbals in my opinion.
I have no issues with my toms, but my ride cymbal has a memory lock otherwise it'll slip with time.
But seriously... this thing is indeed sturdy!
Hi ! Could you name 3 products to clean and polish the chrome pipes? Thanks!!!
Hey Andres, to remove fingerprints, oil, and dirt,, windex and a rag works like a charm. If you are trying to remove rust, then you might try using steel wool and some kind of rust remover.
Thanks Brett! Windex worked like a charme as you said!
What are the diameters of the cerve would you say?
Alex Sturgeon the degree of curve we have on our curved bars is around 15 degrees.
@@GibraltarHardware thanks Gibraltar.
What are the model #'s for the tom mounts?
Denny Felizzi www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=partsmain&curcat=2&cid=104&sid=465

Awesome.
I'm buying a rack (GCS400C) and wanted to know how many stands or weight he can handle on the sidebars. Nobody knows answer me :/
Luan Fronza the side bars can hold a decent about of weight. What are you trying to mount?
I have a drum setup of 3up and 1 down, 3 toms in the front bar and 2 splashes, 2 crashes 18 & 19 on vertical bars, besides I have a 20 china, crashes 15, 17, 18 and an extra hithat of 14. 15 crash I want to put on the left side, and the rest on the right side near the 19 crash. Thanks for answering :D
Luan Fronza you shouldn't have any trouble with weight.
What is the size of the bass drum?
The bass drum used in this video was a 22”.
@@GibraltarHardware thanks I have the same rack but my kick is 24" trying to figure a way to place two toms on the top rack.
Hey where can i order just a 24 inch curve bar at?
www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=dealersub
How can i make a cage rack that i can mount my cymbals from the uper tube
+Alex Saldana nothing but options 😉www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=racks
When is Gibraltar gonna offer black rack tubes?
How much is one of these racks?
+Abraham Treviño You can buy a rack that doesn't corner round where a floor tom would go for about £150 and I think the one that can hold a floor tom where it would normally go is £300 - £350. Not sure, but it's on Amazon I think.
Am I the only that heard "cut my life into pieces..." in his head when first saw the thumbnail?
HE SAID MOUSE

haha thats a lot of part numbers..
you can com over houes fixs my drms set
plaees
Fix that spelling first
5:11 it reminds me this video at 31:33 /watch?v=DdfRQjb5o9k
Why dont they just name them gibraltar rack #1,#2 #3, #4 etc
Don’t buy circular racks buy cubed racks meaning that the pipes are rectangular instead of tubular. Your clamps will slide up and down
Use memory locks, nothing will slide.
