I graduated high school in 2006 for age reference, and we got the scoliosis test by the nurse. I just remember pulling my shirt up in the back and bending over so they could see your spine.

I remember the scoliosis test in junior high. It was during PE. We had our gym shorts on and bras. Boys weren't there, they had a separate gym class. We lined up outside the locker room in the gym. I can't remember if we entered the locker room one by one or if we entered in pairs. The gym teacher was there and the school nurse. I recall standing straight up and bending over. They notified my mom that I should see the doctor. At the doctor he checked me and said I was fine. He seemed puzzled as to why the nurse seemed to think there was a problem. The whole experience was not too bad but I was more freaked out from reading Deenie, by Judy Blume. I think that was the book about the girl in a brace
