I hope they do this for the Winter Olympics too. I'd love to see the try guys try figure skating and snowboarding
Would also love to see them do a series on Paralympic sports
Would love to see them do Downhill or Super-G😅

They’re gonna have to do Try Guys Learn CPR next, because the way Keith was doing compressions on that dummy was totally wrong 😆
Also can Dr Mike be there to emphasize "chest compressions, chest compressions, chest compressions"??
I'd watch!
@@JBums1028 i was about to comment that 😂
Would be a great video would love to see them actually do it might help somebody someday!
He should sing the song "Staying alive"
Of course, Eugene is not a part of this. He has a black belt, and anyone who goes against him will be done in 5 seconds.
Really?
@@lieybethl1992 yes, he says so in the karate video!
Lmao I was just about to comment this! 😂
yeah... but id love to see Eugene against an Olympic just to see the difference :'D

“Did they live?”
“Yes, they did. I mean they had a broken nose but yeah.”
😂
HAAHAHAH the stutter got me laughing so hard hahahahahahahahaha
"The Duke is coming!"
"I hope I'm cinched enough!"
🤣🤣🤣
someone was watching bridgerton
LoL🤣🤣🤣🥲
For someone with the nickname "McFierce" she is actually a fountain of sweet, friendly joyfulness 💜
Wait till you get in the mat with her you will change your mind quick lmao.
Am I binge watching all of these videos in one sitting? Absolutely
Same
Same here!!! Love them
Same here. I love the try guys.
Same girl...SAME!!!!

I'm actually pretty surprised at how much strategy this took, it made me realized that there's so much to professional sports that what you would think from just watching them on tv
It does take a lot of strategy
Agree! I look forward to watching it now that I know more about it.
It's much more than a sport, its a lifestyle.
As a black belt in the sport, I wholeheartedly agree. Its not just wildly swinging your fists, you have to block and dodge and still be able to hit your opponent who is doing the same. It takes years of practice to become this proficient
@@kenheins4973 You couldn’t have said it any better! It requires a lot discipline something that other sports don’t usually carry to the lives of the athletes
Haven't seen this commented yet, but Paige is such a great supportive teacher for Keith and Ned!
Yes!! She's amazing! 😍
And she was fun too!
If I ever wanted to learn I’d hope I get a teacher like her. 👌🏼

loved her energy. she's great.
I kinda know why eugene didnt come with ned, they would get serious serious 💀
Taking an educated guess - Eugene is a black belt already….and knowing how competitive they get, it would end up being super dangerous. Plus, with Zach’s health issues, it would be dangerous for him, so then you’d end up with uneven pairing.
I was just thinking that. It got pretty intense during their last fighting match.
@@northangerallie1921 yeah. Also, he has a black belt???
@@SpringStarFangirl I thought so! I know he did Taekwondo as a kid - they’ve mentioned it before in videos and on the podcast.
Dead seriousl. They would.
Her: You ready to learn taekwondo?
Me: I am ready to know who she kicked in the face
Keith did pretty well!! I think Ned tired him out in the second round, but those long legs came in handy.
Imagine being able to hit or kick someone from feet away lol.
I thought it was because of that "Kick" Ned gave him
Ned did get more coaching during the figth, that could have helped
Yes, but no. In the second round Ned was sticking to keith more. When you face a bigger opponent is better if you get near them, because they have long lengs they have more reach, but if the shorter opponent is near you wont be able to kick. See how when Keith kicks his knee is already touching Ned. Keith also was crouching a lot to be Ned's height since the first match, so that tired him out more.
@@toto_n-n3073 I noticed that too that Keith was bent over more in the second round and I think he did that to help Ned some since it didn't look like either of them were flexible enough to get their kicks up higher. when I spar my white belts or shorter people I always get down lower so they can have a better chance of hitting unless I know they have the flexibility and leg control to get their kicks up then I'll stay like I normally fight. I'm a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo so I was really happy to see people doing different martial arts instead of just karate
" This is a very optimistic groin protector."
- Keith Habersberger, 2021
she's so positive and went along with all of their dumb jokes i love her lol 😂
OMFG Ned is so competitive you can see him struggling not to go full Fulmer on Keith.
Love that Keith did this! He always comes off as a gentle giant.
It's not that I didn't expect the Try Guys to collaborate with the Olympics, but it's not unwelcome! I LOVE IT
I think this was the sparring contest Keith talked about in one trypod where Becky got angry at Ned for all the bruises keith got. But they both did awesome. This was great to watch, thank you for getting the Try Guys to do this awesome activities! ❤
really? link and timestamp?
It makes sense tho cause Keith was blocking almost all of his kicks
@@nivetham3560sorry, i forgot which episode but they did mentioned it.
@@Lemon_Hollow that was what Ned said too and I think Ned hits hard also 😂
@@graceblc855 ok no problem!
Honestly if the guys did one of these for every sport in the Olympics, I'd watch them all!
I kept waiting for psychotic competitive Ned to show up. He finally arrived and kicked Keith in the junk.
Classic psychotic competitive Ned
Paige was so badass and down to earth, I loved this episode! She was simultaneously super intimidating but also funny and engaging.
Fascinating how close it is to fencing.
Instead of swords, you get legs. But the movements are and space usage are pretty much the same, even the "dueling" system is similar
This is the Olympic sparring part of Taekwondo, so of course the rules on how you get points are similar. My least fav part of it I would do everything else, this will take longer to learn (the overall sport)
@@yolandapaulino5952 ah! It never ocurred to me it would be different for the olympics
i'm living for the panic on keith and ned's face when she started going fast trough the defense blocking HAHAHA
love how Paige described it as chess. I was so surprised when I tried Taekwondo how much its about controlled precise movement rather than pure power. Also, as a very short person, so jealous of Keith's long legs. I wish I had that reach!
Back in the day when scoring sensors werent a thing yet it also included power.because you really need to make that hogu make the cracking sound to score a point and knocking out your opponent with a kick to the head is an instant win so yeah tkd became more tamer nowadays its more of a leg fencing than real unadultered taekwondo.
Is there a particular body type that's ideal for this?
@@lurategh if u have long arms and legs
@@lurategh Not really, no. You do NOT need to be big or tall for martial arts (see: Bruce Lee), and there are weight classes for competitions. I'm very short (under 5') and excelled at sparring when I practiced Taekwondo because it's highly strategic... also, I was fast and could dodge hits, lol.
WHY was this not advertised more? I love this
💯 believe Keith and Ned did this one because it’s blue vs red in the Olympic matches. 🔵🥋🔴
it makes sense now
I’m a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo. It’s the best workout I’ve ever don. Sparring is my least favorite element, but it’s still super fun. A full match is absolutely brutal. The total 6 minutes feels like you ran a marathon.
one tournament I went to had 3, 3 minute rounds... felt like death.
Same!! I loved every part of it except for the matches hahaha, I didn't really wanna hit other people
id imagine it to be kinda like boxing. where those 3 minutes feel like an eternity. It looks fun tho. Id like to try it.
I used to compete when I was 10-11 and I couldn't agree more. I still remember ending up completely exhausted after every mach even though as you said they're just 2 minutes rounds, that really feel an eternity. Nice memories and I still have the medals I won.
The last minute of the three minute rounds, you feel like your chest is going to explode, it’s so tiring. Or maybe it’s just my asthma. 😂
After hearing it called "body chess," it honestly makes sense that Ned was part of this video. After all, he is known for tying with a chess master on their channel.
When it’s with these guys, it’s not Taekwondo...
It’s TRY-kwondo!!
They missed the opportunity to have an Olympic medalist taekwondo fighter fight Eugene who just has a black belt
Can we just appreciate their blended family? 🙏🏻
As someone who has done tkd for almost 15 years and been competing competitively for 4, I always forget how awkward it is for people to learn sparring. I used to compete in sparring but my doctor barred me so I had to switch over to poomsae and whenever my dojang gives me the sparring class to teach, I'm constantly trying to convince kids to hit each other because they're too scared.
I'm an ITF red belt and terrible at sparring, got any tips / strategies for it ?
Free sparring I mean as my 2 and 1 step is OK
@@zigzagvr841 I would say work on flexibility, footwork, and endurance. A lot of the fights I've been in, the other person didn't have the energy to keep going. What I did to get better is I asked my grandmaster to fight against me and he whooped me xD
@@zigzagvr841 the way I was taught is all footwork and striking fast, get in while they’re unbalanced and get out while they’re still recovering. If your too close for a kick deliver some punches. Don’t try to be smart and go with the flashy kicks, do a lot of simpler harder kicks. E.g Roundhouse, backhook, pushing kick
Paige: As long as you’re accurate on the hogu, that’s how you score a point.
Ned: what did you call it?
Paige: 👁👄👁 Accuracy? How you score a point?
Them: No the hogu
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 PAIGE IS SO FUNNY
That's a very optimistic groin protector 😂😂 Keith
And then the "ah, foreARM" like he was implying the other option was fore...? LOL
Paige is great at explaining, and also really fun. What an awesome teacher.
I also love when she just casually hooked Ned behind the head with her heel.
I’m surprised that Keith’s kihap wasn’t “KEITH!”
I love how there are a lot of female Olympics in this series. They are amazingly badass (as are the men but love the variety)!
Really wanted Eugene to show off his background. But this was hilarious, and informative!
Yeah, me too! Was disappointed to see no Eugene here.
I think he already got a black belt
It didn't work for the format, they needed clueless guys to explain things to lmao and I think Zach is not here because of his health problems so the two pairings make sense
@Lady Seashell Bikini True! Perfect match
When she mentioned breaking their hands the faces they made were hilarious!
“So let’s take away the points” 😂
I know it’s like the whole point of being a professional and being an Olympic caliber athlete but wow she makes it look so easy and yet I know I could not do that
As a former student of the sport, I got to give respect to Ned and Keith for trying Taekwondo out.
Anyone thinking of that YCSWU episode when Becky got upset at how much bruises Keith got from an episode with Ned?? Anyone?? Ok just me
Instantly!!! 😂😭
Immediately I was like "ooooh THIS is the video Becky was mad about" 😂😂😂
I remembered that episode the moment they started sparring 😂
YES
Let the boys be boys, Becky. I know we don't like to see our guys get hurt, but you know? They're alright.
I know we’re only on the second episode, but I’m loving the experts so far! They know the guys like to goof around a bit, but really do “try” their best. The experts get that and goof around with them too while still being super informative and patient.
Also, I just love me some Try Guys 🤷🏻♀️😂 Would love to see this format come back for the winter games next year!!!
Paige is so bubbly and lovely, she seems so excited to be sharing her knowledge!
When you hate the Olympics for what they do to the people in the cities it's held in and the harm it does to the environment and the resources it wastes, but you also want to watch everything the Try Guys do.
This comment just nails it! Well said.
ned is hella competitive haha
truly HAHAHA
I was lucky enough to see Paige win her Bronze in person in London! While they had mini videos before each competition, as someone who knew little tonothing about the sport before attending the Olympic matches, this type of video would have been extremely helpful. Great Job everyone!
"DiD tHeY LiVe?!"
I was thinking the same thing
She's a really great teacher
Sidenote: Keith is getting FIT AF…I see you, Keith 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
😂😂😂😂😂 she looked at Ned like he was dumb when she thought he asked what accuracy meant 😂😂😂☠️
i would’ve love to hear more about Paige’s story!! she is a fierce queen!
Love Neds face when she was punching the bag in his hands 😂 the fear in his eyes haha 🤣😂
Never saw the collab coming but i aint complaining :)
No wonder Becky wanted Ned's head on a platter.
I started learning taek won-do last August and am doing my first grading on the 3rd. Hoping everything goes well and I get my next belt. I'm enjoying it so far and have always wanted to do it since I was little. I did it in primary school and enjoyed it so wanted to do more. Joined a club and here we are now learning tae kwon-do 😁
Aww the athlete/coach was so nice and so fierce! She even gave them a symbolic present/award! She's so cool!
As a taekwondo athlete my self it is really awesome to see my sport represented on the Try Guys. ❤️
Oooh Becky is gonna be so mad at Ned for kicking Keith in the groin lol
@Lady Seashell Bikini hey!! do you remember the episode?
@@destinydaftari7479 it's called "Addressing the beef with the Try Guys", I think.

so impressed with Keith in this one! and it was lovely to see Paige laugh so much
I still love that the Try Guys got to do this ❤️💙💚💜
I love this!! My grandmaster is the 1984 Olympic couch and to see this is so great!!
“More like smarties “ 💀💀😂 cracked me up so much
You know that meme about having rando people in the Olympics as a comparison-this is that meme irl 😂
Keith has an advantage because of his longer legs, but being taller also makes him more likely to get kicked... *low.*
Atill an advantage since kicking lower than the armor has penalties
@@seanpaulmagbanua745 I meeeean... An advantage at what cost lmao. I'm pretty sure Keith and Becky want kids someday XD
They should really try rowing! I’d love to see that
I was so excited to see Keith beating Ned in a physical competition. Hehe.
im sad eugene isnt here
mostly bec i rlly rlly want to see that black belt in aCTION
I really want to know why paige has kicked someone in the face in real life, somebody was really messing with the wrong pal
Well again, she said that face kicks are worth 3-5 points in this sport, so I think that that has something to do with it.
@@ianlee4565 head kicks, not face kicks. Pretty sure face kicks that would break a nose would be a point deduction. Plus, they asked about in “real life” which, to me, means outside of the sport.
@@coolM353 A head kick counts on any part of the head, including the face, so yes, you can kick the face and get the 3-4 points. But I'm pretty sure the question was about a situation outside the competition. And as a side note, you actully don't see a lot of broke noses in a TKD competition, and when they happen, it's usually cause by an accidental punch or a knee hit on the face.
@Lady Seashell Bikini I do Taekwondo and you are allowed to kick to the face however because of electronic scoring it often doesn’t count unless the referees give it
@@coolM353 face kicks are allowed 👍
That hug part was so sweet 🥺
i love how even ned being the most athletic one and keith being confortable being more goofy, keith really goes for it. bothe of them were great!
I like that they did videos on events that many not know about. And love that they include the history of these events as well.
i've always wished I had taken some form of martial arts as a kid and was this badass
She is wonderful. I certain will be watching this in the olympics!!
As being 16 and a double black belt (second Dan) in karate, It’s great to see people try out the martial arts. 👌👍
this is the studio where I trained! absolutely insane
Lmaooo ugh this one was fun to watch !!! Ned “I just pee peed myself” 🤣
Ned saying "or Smarties" is epic... 😂😂😂
I really love this series! It’s so interesting to learn about sports I would’ve known nothing about beforehand. And the fact that there’s electronics involved in this one and in fencing?? So freaking cool
This series is sooooooo WATCHABLE
Paige is the best coach by far! So supportive ❤️
"long legs, they're finally paying off" haha
Dang, I wanted to see Eugene attempt against an Olympian. But since he has a black belt... I guess that's a bit of an advantage!
Love that your showcasing so many women in sport in this series!!
Great series. Paige is awesome. Loved seeïng Ned and Keith competing together. Must say, all your Olympic teachers are really great so far.
Paige is so supportive, I loved her
I'm living for this series
This video is making me miss Taekwondo training even more than I already do! Loving the series!
This is a great series! Not only are the episodes super informative, the Try Guys are the perfect hosts!
I loved Paige's energy, she always gave them compliments and kept on motivating them. Plus her smile's really pretty !
Ik this is the Olympics yt channel but the try guys are owning it-
When Keith Jr. fell, I couldn't hold back my tears
Full throttle Fulmer back at it again.
😂 Pretty sure Keith decided to loss after that "hit"
I'm so glad they did this one! I I did this until I was 13 and we had to move, really makes me wish I had kept up with it. I competed in tournaments but I didn't know it was an Olympic sport. Will definitely be cheering on Paige in Tokyo!
I would pay a million dollars for a punch hug from keith 🥺😂💙
So glad I only do Taekwondo for self-defense and not competitively.
Paige this episode and the gymnast judges last episode are so amazing and inspirational!!
The narrator gives me the Miss Minutes vibe but with Slvyie accent 😂
The expert was fantastic! Loved this episode!
