      Taking an educated guess - Eugene is a black belt already….and knowing how competitive they get, it would end up being super dangerous. Plus, with Zach’s health issues, it would be dangerous for him, so then you’d end up with uneven pairing.

    • @toto_n-n3073
      @toto_n-n3073 2 роки тому +30

      Yes, but no. In the second round Ned was sticking to keith more. When you face a bigger opponent is better if you get near them, because they have long lengs they have more reach, but if the shorter opponent is near you wont be able to kick. See how when Keith kicks his knee is already touching Ned. Keith also was crouching a lot to be Ned's height since the first match, so that tired him out more.

    • @skylarloizzi5754
      @skylarloizzi5754 2 роки тому +7

      @@toto_n-n3073 I noticed that too that Keith was bent over more in the second round and I think he did that to help Ned some since it didn't look like either of them were flexible enough to get their kicks up higher. when I spar my white belts or shorter people I always get down lower so they can have a better chance of hitting unless I know they have the flexibility and leg control to get their kicks up then I'll stay like I normally fight. I'm a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo so I was really happy to see people doing different martial arts instead of just karate

    I started learning taek won-do last August and am doing my first grading on the 3rd. Hoping everything goes well and I get my next belt. I'm enjoying it so far and have always wanted to do it since I was little. I did it in primary school and enjoyed it so wanted to do more. Joined a club and here we are now learning tae kwon-do 😁

      @@ianlee4565 head kicks, not face kicks. Pretty sure face kicks that would break a nose would be a point deduction. Plus, they asked about in “real life” which, to me, means outside of the sport.

      @@coolM353 A head kick counts on any part of the head, including the face, so yes, you can kick the face and get the 3-4 points. But I'm pretty sure the question was about a situation outside the competition. And as a side note, you actully don't see a lot of broke noses in a TKD competition, and when they happen, it's usually cause by an accidental punch or a knee hit on the face.
