QQQ is core holding for me. I adjust contributions based on relative weighting to other holdings and rebalance everything annually if allocations are off by more than 5% nominally. Whatever the market is doing at any point in time is irrelevant. Makes things easy and effortless.
I hold FTEC which is comparable to VGT. FTEC makes 40% of my portfolio and the rest is FXAIX/SP500. 1-year return: FTEC 34.1%, QQQ 32.1% 3-year return: FTEC 46.5%, QQQ 39.2% 5-year return: FTEC 164.9%, QQQ 153.1% I was originally going to go with QQQ/QQM but after some research I went with FTEC, which is pretty much an Information Technology ETF. Another great video! Oh and sorry about the 🐻🐻🐻 but hey its only 8 lost games in a row 🤣🤣🤣 JK.

Thanks again for your perspective on the new additions in the QQQ. And speaking about secular trends, how do you feel about allocating 1-2% of a portfolio to bitcoin? Seems like many more institutions and fund managers are preaching this. Have you considered this lately?
I am a big fan of Bitcoin, and have been around it for a long time. IMO it’s best for folks who understand what they’re buying and not looking at it like a lottery ticket. It will likely be volatile but nothing like it’s been the last 10 years or so. I’m a big fan, but for some folks it’s too confusing or scary to talk about
I’m up over 120% on AXON. I just wished I’d trusted my partner when he initially told me to buy it. He works in local government and went to a national conference last year. He said his biggest takeaway from the conference was to buy all the AXON I could. I didn’t fully trust him though because I was scared to buy it at all time highs… so I only bought a 3% position. I wish I’d bought a 15% position like I’ve done with other stocks!!
For sure. As someone who lives in the area and watches just about everything in and around the team I can confidently tell you that Wemby is the surest bet in the NBA. Barring injury he will be an all-time great. It's not just the talent and size - it's the work ethic, mentality, and maturity. He genuinely embraces his responsibility and understands his status and what it means. It sounds crazy to say with how hyped he was, but he's been better than the hype. It's starting to show in the stats, but it will only improve. Dude's 20. Ok, rant over.

Nasdaq and S&P are quite expensive. It’s a huge bubble waiting for a correction (or worse). I’m taking the Buffet route: money market and wait (besides a few specific value buys). “Be fearful when everyone is greedy.”
Right but wrong. I suggest you watch more Buffett and some Peter Lynch. "Timing the market" rarely works long term. Get in the market and stay in the market.

SCHG for me but I owned QQQ or QQQM for years! Great ETF and I would possibly get it aqain but right now I am going SCHG.
Excellent presentation thank you
Thanks, no worries!

MSI feels like such a scam…
Because it is!!! 😢
New subscriber. I like the way you speak, all business.
Thanks, much appreciated!
I’m excited about these changes but like you said these are only small % of QQQ
What do you think about SCHG vs VOO?
Different goals, although there is likely a lot of overlap. VOO is a blend of value and growth (basically "the market") while SCHG is growth focused.
PLTR options have been paying quite juicy premiums lately. QQQ is also a good holding, a good index with lots of options volume as well
will this effect the QQQM as well?
Yes.
Yup, definitely. They are essentially the same

The market can remain in a bubble for 2 to 3 years. Then, when it corrects it will still be higher than today.
