Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

Y'all, this brought such a smile to my face. I have been rewatching your older vlogs, specifically the ones when you were in Scotland. I got such a kick out of the Kinder Time and seeing you find the kangaroo one now, all these years later, is PRICELESS!
This video reminded me straight away of the days before the adoption process, it was fun and made me laugh. Thank you for that 😊. Also reminded me of the Scotland videos that I was able to watch last year ☺️.

This was fun! I'm Norwegian and when I lived abroad I missed freia chocolate so much! Leverpostei sounds horrendous, but is actually pretty good. Fun fact about kvikk lunsj (the one that looks like kit kat), it's a mandatory snack for any skiing trip during easter in Norway. You have to bring kvikk lunsj and appelsin (orange), it's a well established Easter tradition.
I'm in the USA. Do you wanna do a snack exchange with me??? I'd love to try snacks from a different country! Have you had snacks from the US?

Yes, here in New York, USA, we have the Kinder candy that comes with a toy on one side of the egg and on the other side is a vanilla cream candy with 2 chocolate , crunchy type candies. Very Yummy !!

Leverpostei is like a topping for a bread slice. It is not candy😂 in Norway, most parents give leverpostei to children on a slice of bread as breakfast or lunch. I prefer leverpostei on toasted bread.

Peter, I hope your back is better. You had me laughing so hard. I can't eat anything mushy, either. Your face was funny. I love Kinder toys. I have many. My favorite animal is a grizzly bear and I got one in a Kinder and I was so happy. I am 65 years old but you are never too old to have some fun!!
in Denmark and i bet in Norway you can get leverposteg with bacon, and it's really good, you normally eat it on rye bread for lunch or on a bun as more of a snack, we grow up on, it's very common for very small children to get a slice of rye bread cut up in tiny squares that they can then sit and eat them self in there own tempo
I have a friend in Norway that sends me snack boxes, too! Those people gummies are good! I got liver pate, but it's a different brand. I like it with yellow mustard on crackers.
You both are priceless. I do have to say smarties are a thing not just in Scotland we have them all over the UK. And we have M&M ‘s too. And what is in the tin is called pate. You can have it on crackers or toast x

Its funny how Mary called Freia for Frida and Peter continuously called Vepsebol for Vespebol 😂😂😂😂 I can't even. The most chaotic taste test of em all 😂😂 but that's how the Freys do it I'm style. Also it's the biggest insult for Norwegians when's Americans call Kvikk lunsj for KitKat 😂 the liver pate is not the best, we have better ones but those are refrigerated 😁

Its liver pâté ... here in South Africa we call it "lewerpatee" ... similar ... Afrikaans speaking people would have had an idea of what it is ... I love it on a sandwich or crackers

Here in Canada 🇨🇦 Smarties are similar to M&Ms, but not the same. We do have M&Ms up here, all the different kinds. Smarties are very similar to plain M&Ms, but most Canadians would say that Smarties are tastier 😉 I certainly like Smarties better than plain M&Ms, if given a choice.
I'm from Canada and I like M&M's a little more. Unless it's in cookies. Than it has to be smartie cookies for sure. :)

We have Smarties in Canada- they taste completely diff than M&Ms.....we also have Aero- full of bubbles ( air pockets )...we have quite a variety of bars that u guys don't have there!
I'm originally from Canada too. And Aeros are the best. I miss all the candy we can get at home that we can't get here in the U.S.
