My first PS2 game (plus Tekken Tag Tournament). My mom bought this game for my birthday, the Toys R Us guy told her it was the best game. At first, I looked at the box it as a generic snowboard game totally judging by the cover. I finally gave it a chance, I could not STOP PLAYING for hours! Love this game!
Nice footage, absolutely love the vibe of the "Untracked" level. The music is perfect for it. Had so much fun with this game and I still have it with the cool purple colored disc
damn man just the intro to this game and the main menu music makes me want to run through a brick wall i loved this game so much. all i have is ssx tricky so thatll have to do
Mesablanca ❤️ remember playing this especially at winter time. then at night me and the homues went out for some street snowboarding, then back home again for some hot coco and ssx! Miss those days!
@@marrowyoutube For me, all games worked without issue except On Tour. On Tour has some weird rendering issues that will show some red vertical stripes and you will have to mess with some render settings inside the GPU plugin. If you get red vertical stripes in On Tour use this and it should fix it: D3D9/D3D11 : Set Skipdraw hack to 1 OpenGL : Enable HW depth

This was EA Sports Big's First Game called SSX that they have made in the year 2000 and with this First SSX Game, they made SSX into a Franchise which is quite awesome. I would say the First SSX Game is so freaking awesome. Also, EA Sports Big started making other Big Name Franchise Game Series like NBA Street, NFL Street, and Fifa Street. There are two other games that EA Sports Big made as well which are Freekstyle and Def Jam Vendetta that I would say are also considered amazing games.
Am I the only one who heard cha cha slide play at some point? I mean, not from the video itself, from what they recollect during their childhood of playing this game? Or maybe it was some other game.

I like that SSX is actually completable, unlike SSX 3 which had far too many boring tasks. SSX 3 is a good game, don't get me wrong, but it did feel like too much of a grind at times. Never finished a single character 100 % with all collectibles and so on, and the thought of completing every character is just too daunting.
Will never forget Christmas morning 2000, getting my PS2 with SSX. Best day ever!
This game needs to be remastered
This game is super nostalgic. I wish my ps2 still worked. 😫

Forgot how good the sound design and programming was. Had a demo of this and then bought ssx tricky. Happy memories
wtf 26:14 there was a glitch in that part but that was awesome tho love your vid man keep up with your work hommie
It's a weird glitch with PCSX2. I have no clue why it does it
@@Cheesy2434 how do you get ssx games other than 3 to work on pcsx2?
I've been trying to get tricky and on tour to work for a while

This version of Mesablanca is way better than the Tricky one
A few tracks in Tricky were a downgrade :(
But at least they were different!
@@DeanH92 Excuse me! Tokyo Megaplex in Tricky was a super upgrade!

SSX (2000) (PS2) | Longplay
Thanks I guess? lol
Is there any way of playing this on pc or even ps4 ??
This is recorded from PCSX2. A PS2 emulator
Do you have a link for the emulator/game ?

It's a weird render issue. Only happens with SSX on PCSX2

Yes, it's emulated

There's only secret characters in Tricky, 3 and On Tour

The first Ps2 killer application!
What's with the annoying intro that is 4x as loud as the actual gameplay?
Its from a stream. Straight upload after the stream finished
