A tip to remember what makes you speed up or slow down with sympathetic and parasympathetic. I always think a parachute slows you down, so parasympathetic system slows you down. Obviously sympathetic is the opposite.

Nice video, idk what the highest dosage for prednisone is but when I had Stevens-Johnson syndrome/ TEN and was in the university hospital icu they gave me hundreds of milligrams and hundreds in IV injections for weeks straight every couple hours, there’s no cure but that’s how it’s stopped if your in right away since it happens in less then 12 hrs , and your entire mucous membranes inside and out are killed off and all your blood vessels begin bursting within hours
Loving these podcasts about kidney health etc. Bostons injury sounds like an acute on chronic kidney injury, the straw that broke the camels back. He very well may have recovered if he hadn't chronically beaten his kidneys to the point they were at before the adipotide. Hate to see what happened to him. I had to quit running gear because of kidney pains. Now on TRT. But my creatinine was only 1.3 a couple of weeks after coming off and 1.1 now after a year on TRT
I notice the heartbeat elevated due to a sort of anxiety not in the morning but around 2/5 pm when i wake up from a power nap. I’m evaluating a beta blocker but cardio selective like nebivol.
Leo, I was self medicating with 80mg prednisone for 5-6 months it was the most horrible feeling I’d ever had. For literally 15 years or so I didn’t sleep for more than an hr at a time due to extremely swollen turbinates in my nose. I fought for quite a few years and both of them were damaged due to being hit in the nose. There were nights that I stood up all night because even sitting would completely close my nose. After years even affrin would not work. Well, just saying that prednisone is a HORRIBLE drug.

Leo try and convince Bostin to go on TRT. My BP went from 120/80 to ~142/80 just from 300mg of Test Prop per week. If you're prone to high BP, especially if your kidneys are already damaged you can easily have high BP from the dose of Test he's taking. Way better to try and heal the kidneys first and then if he ever does another cycle again he can use the BP meds alongside that time to prevent high BP. Kydney replacement or dialysis is no joke and must totally suck!
Leo I have a lot of cell Cept If Bostin needs some. It seems pretty side effect free to me. Also I did prednisone 60mg for like two years it works but yeah the sides he mentioned are Common.

Don’t know why Bostin isn’t getting a set of bloods to know where he is at now as he’s sitting saying he’s in stage 5 kidney failure which he may have been but he definetly isn’t now or he’d be having to have dialysis and he’d be blown up like a water balloon. I had a similar thing some years back and once I stopped what I was doing I returned to near normal within 2 weeks but while my kidneys were failing my ankles were hanging over my shoes and my hands looked like I had boxing gloves on.

You should have nose surgery. I have the turbinate stuff too.
When I lay down nose says no no.
Vigorous steve says nebivolol does not have the fat deposition effect like other beta blockers like atenolol? Is this always true
Instead, it is the only beta blocker that might make you have more free nitrogen radicals.

I was on 100mg for 4 years for Ulcerative Collitis, it was miserable, moon face, weight gain, hunger and I was an emotional wreck.
