Loving the fire safety message and I echo the advice. I'm always telling my fellow plot holders as we've been up to our allotments on numerous occasions putting out shed fires. I've also given them the number for our control to stop the many false alarms we tip out to. There's no such thing as an off duty firefighter lol. Another informative video as usual, keep them coming.
great update tony good idea with the shredder what seeds are you gong to sow i am thinking of putting some broad beans in pots in the the greenhouse all the best dave
You've got all the gear Tony. I wish I had a shedder. But my plot is small and I burn a lot in a barrel with holes in it. Will the blue berries be ready for eating this year? It's always good to watch your videos.
Good update Tony, I have the same shredder, I also got it from Argos mine was £130, they had an offer on. It works a treat. Your video seems better quality, not as dark as some, have you got a new camera? All the best, Ken
i have that shredder, the only issue with it is that it wont shred freshly cut material. it needs to be dry for it to break up, otherwise you end up with long beveled ribbons
I didn't know that blueberries needed two different plants to pollinate. I know I inherited one, will have to double check to see if I have two or else go and get one.
Hanks Tony. The problem is I inherited it so no idea of the variety. I will see what it does this year and if its no good I will rip it out and go and get two new ones. There is quite a lot of the soft fruit this year that has a 'see what happens' strategy. Might be all change in the fruit garden next year, I guess we shall find out. Thanks for your sage like advice as ever mate. All the best.
I am a new subscriber. I tried to drink tea but coffee is my cup of tea lol i kill me. Great video's love the Blueberry info didn't know needing 2 kinds.
Just to clarify, your council isn't making cuts, the government does that. Government has slashed council budgets, and your council tax only makes up a small amount of the council's budget. Having said that, if your councillors belong to any of the Lib-Lab-Con parties they support the government's austerity measures. Only Plaid Cymry and the Greens oppose austerity.

Will be great to see the new plans Tony:) Thanks for the upload!
Excellent clip. I love the blueberries. I can't wait to see mine in the spring.
Thanks for the shredding demo... it looks like a nice bit of kit, I'll have to look into one of these. Cheers Adam
I had no idea about blueberries Tony, thanks!

Another very simple but instructive video, just one question though, why do you not grow any crops in your tunnel?

Could you use coffee grounds ort tea bags
I don't understand the type of compost you are using in the blueberry hole. Could you explain? Thank you.
Wood ash contains potash which is a nutrient that plants need
If all this fruit gets to harvest you'll be sick looking at jam jars.
Best Wishes, Brendan.
***** Isn't giving stuff away the great pleasure of growing? You hand someone a freshly cut cabbage and you'd think you'd given them £100.

if you don't mind me asking, do you use a video editing program. If so which one and what system is it for Mac or Windows?
