@@ErkFX Actually Captain Marvel is one of the only movies where they seem to avoid calling him Nick. And even in that Movie Carol calls him Nicholas afterwards. He's called Nick only half as often as he's called Fury across the whole MCU. And there's not much reason that the Skrull would have the Carol pager, but that could well be retconned.

i love the mysterio sequence when peter was constantly getting confused, one of the best VFX scenes done by marvel. Especially since it closely resembles the comics.

The Mysterio Illusion Battles were in my opinion the BEST Battles in the movie.
Couldn't agree more. It made the movie for me because it was exactly what you could ask for with Mysterio as the villain on the big screen. The visuals were amazing. Such a fantastic job!!

One missed Easter egg was when the fire monster attacked fury’s car, we can see bullet marks on the windshield rather than burn marks

Anyone else think that the scene near the end when Peter was asking for clarity about where the relationship between Aunt May and Happy was going was thrown in by the writers as a sort of an easter egg with May representing Sony and Happy Marvel and with them having totally different ideas of what their relationship was and its future? Sort of a commentary on the future of the franchise?

I felt really happy with the back in black scene it was like Hogan saw Tony again
Stark knew Peter would be hesitant about taking his inheritance, so he programmed his AI with Peters bio-metrics being the admin login used to override anything connected, just like Stark could do with specific gestures with his suits and other various tech. Stark essentially replaced his admin capabilities to Peters Bios.
Now that Peter has had his identity leaked how do you think they'll explain that? I'm thinking a way they could clear his name is by having Talos shape shift into Peter.

The after credits scene also has a reference to Agents of SHIELD. Fury appears to be resting on TAHITI, the place where Coulson went after his death.

God I almost screamed TAHITI during that scene and was actually waiting for AOS characters but I guess that really wouldn't happen. Maybe Fury wasn't really on Earth all this time.

I think it was more related to his Iron Spider suit being plugged up in weird containment cube right below the switch. All that nanotechnology has be powered/charged up some how. Peter doesn’t have an ark reactor so...

This is probably my favorite Marvel movie at the moment. I really feel that Mysterio was such an interesting character, and arguably takes number one for comic movie villains imo. So in depth, mysterious, sleezy, and witty.

- and Dimitri who could possibly turn out to be Dimitri the Chameleon. With no sign of Norman Osborn or Doc Oc as of yet, we might just have our MCU Sinister Six
@Tyrell Films I'd hope they do introduce a leader of sorts like Osborn or Doc Oc or another prominent villain like Kraven, but there's rumors that Sony is already developing Kraven, And multiple times there's been reports that Marvel Studios and their spiderman writers only want to use spidey villains that haven't been seen on the big screen yet. Again only time will tell who they use or if they even do plan to do a sinister six in the MCU.

the surfboard reference could also be a throwback to the first people that Talos and entourage impersonated which were surfers in the Captain Marvel film. I think Happy was in on them being Skrulls which is how he knew to make that reference.

And about EDITH, Peter gave Beck user access. Peter still has administrative access.
Just because the gun was real doesn't mean the wound in Beck was real. Good point about the edith access though

When he mentioned E.D.I.T.H. being rigged I realized that when Peter asked if the illusions were down E.D.I.T.H. could have been rigged to say that they were, so mysterio could still be alive
I don't think it was EDITH that was rigged. Because EDITH only said that all the drones were turned off not the illusions. Beck still has his original projectors and they were not part of Stark's drones. Beck is still alive.
EDITH specifically said all the illusions were down. Peter asked the same.

Ummmmm during the fire elemental fight, when Nick Fury arrives at the fight, you can see bullet holes on the windshield when Mysterio’s beam skims it
I noticed the bullets but then just forgot bc of what was going on
probs from the malfunctioning drone that dropped the hologram projector, as they can shoot bullets
Jackson Shalice it’s not a malfunction. The way that the elementals and mysterio caused actual “damage” during the fight was with the drones weapons
