Thank you for sharing we just finished our Northern California Road trip and we've been to some of the places you mentioned such as Lassen, Battery Point Lighthouse, Mystery Spot, Trees of Mystery. I would add Lava Beds to that list - this National Monument is underrated but is home to Skull Cave were they found human remains. We also explored Garden Bridges, Golden Dome cave, Hopkins Chocolate cave it's so beautiful
AWESOME VIDEO,JOHN. You did capture some of the hidden beauty in Northern California. I've been to about seven, have a few more to go. You are very good at this, keep going, do more. THANKS.
bartellj check out Harry A. Merlo foundation in the small town of Stirling City in Butte County. Its a beautiful park that was built in memory of the owners mother.

What a great video..Thank you very much, I really enjoyed it. Now, question. How many days do we need to visit all these places? I would really appreciate the response. Thanks again.👍👍
At least a full week as many of the locations are near the edges of Northern California and/or higher in elevation so it can be time consuming just making the drives to each as I anticipate you'll be wanting to stop at many of the gorgeous vistas along the way. I would say most people will be able to do on average 2 stops a day. Anymore than that and you'll be missing out on just soaking in the moment.
I’m very flamboyant and active duty military (I feel that’s relevant) and I feel like you guys could teach me so much on survival. I currently am based on the west coast in the Bay Area and I feel like y’all teaching me could be amazing. Great collaboration not to mention I’d learn amazing skills! I’d really appreciate it!
Ok he finally got to Northern Cal I grew up in Fall River Mills, but he was pushing it with the SF cookie factory., Santa Cruz, Tulare and Lone Pine. Sorry SF, and anything below that is not Northern Ca Fall River only has 500in population and McArthur has about 200, then you Ft Jones, McCloud, Etna, Lookout, Adin, Bieber to name a few small towns in Northern Cal. Cowboy country.

Fort Bragg and Winters, CA is nice. Thank you for this video.
Yay! I am the 1000th "Like" Thanx for all those great tips! I know where to go now! :-)
Elkhorn Slough is one of my favorite places in the entire world.
Devil's Postpile National Monument is pretty interesting, and includes a moderate hike.
Thanks for the suggestion Richard!
Crescent city is one of the most amazing places I have ever been
……
I live here now
Crescent city has the feel of a New England fishing village. I liked it.
Yoy should go back in the fall and visit Rockville Park, Apple Hill, and Napa Valley.
Go down to Williams California to granzellas...
Great job on the video! I dig your work!
Great video
Thank You... Beautiful
That's the second biggest olive I've ever seen!

Camping at silver lake near Amador is the best
Where is he at on that river when he would cut in-between takes?
Thank you.
Northern California native here. We always pronounced it “Point Rays” and “In-ver-NESS,” not “In-VER-ness.”
Would you please add WRITING to the name of the places on the Video next time please
“From 1887-1882...”? Did I hear that correctly?
I heard that too.It was so cold up there they didn't understand their mind and tongue were not in unison 🤓
Why would you completely skip over Humboldt and Mendocino counties? 🤦♂️🤔
Why does everybody?
You're Not pronouncing Point Reyes and Inverness currently! Rays...and In Ver Nas...!
You're not spelling correctly (currently) correctly...
Unfortunately the mountain you said was Mt Whitney is NOT Mount Whitney.

You missed empire mine in Nevada city.
Did she say that the halogen light is visible for two miles? Wow!
But it not because of the relatively modest 750w bulb.
It's due to the fresnel lens (that she stands beside) that focuses the beam of light.

I’m disappointed that he didn’t mention humboldt county and chose del norte 😤
Wasn’t a vandal that set the boat on fire. It was a photographer using poor judgement.

I do believe it’s pronounced Del Nortay county
The locals pronounce it 'del nort'.
