I think the most important thing of "growing up" is to understand that everything is a choice. If you can take ownership of your choices you don't have to conform to anyone else's idea of what a grown up is. Because at the end of the day its you and this life.
love you ruff

Proud of your decision 🤍
Heads of to you hope your family understands your decision if there are the type of "typical Indian family" if not then is good
I'm currently a 16 year old on self improvement and I found this video very relieving. It's nice to see likeminded people commenting about the same worries that you have. I really feel like you would achieve a ton in life, Ruff. Thank you for your content!

Man i love you i’ve been watching your videos for a month now and it is freaking awsome you helped me change my mindset so much!
Keep going and growing
This, helped a lot.
I was really, really considering just going into a medical field just because my mom wants me to.
“If you don’t know what you want to do, just go to medical! Then at least you have a stable job.”
I’ve always known that I never wanted to go into the medical field. But I don’t have my own passion, nothing that I can call my own.
This video felt like a wake up call, that I shouldn’t be doing something just because people tell me I should, even if it’s my own parents. I don’t know what I’ll do yet, but I hope it’ll be something I enjoy.
damn im feeling the exact same way for 3 months now
Great video! I just wrote this to make a point about "trying many thing in life" and "phases" on 2:00. It was clear for me what you said, but! You say, what it is not a phase, but, I think, in grand scheme of life it's still a phase! It's just another choice, and you have an every right to make a mistake. But I can agree on - that really sucks when you making a really big choice and it comes up as a wrong one, and it make your life just a pain in ass, but it's still okay - some things just need to be get overcome, I guess...
Recently I just saw these videos, and surprisingly, through many others, yours are were the ones who hit close to me. Thx for this🤟
P.S. Just saw that someone literally said same thing in just like 4 words🤣, but, I still think it was better to say it, than just lose it in my mind
I always love to hear you talk ruff. It's just so calming.

A big thanks to my family for letting me chose the shit I chose to study, now I got no one to blame.

When I’m unsure of my next move bc I don’t want to fail again or face my feelings of being in pain or unsure, I feel like I don’t want to let go of u n keep u close haha 🥰❤
I'm 16 and I am either graduating to college this year or next year and I got no idea what I want to do. What you said about finding a job that doesn't seem like work to me but is to others is some good advice I will most definitely use this to figure out what I want to do, thank you.
Bro same here 😭
I think your responsibility count is 16 after you mentioned counting it 🦆good video ngl keep it up man
What I find difficult is the fact that I know what kind of problems I want to solve in life, I know my talent and skills, I am very skilled in fixing computers and tech but I have no idea where to go. Everyone is choosing what university they want to go to, yet here I am, clueless and bad grades because I don't know where I'm gonna study.
If you’re doing film, i recommend getting some film and screenwriting books, especially the Save the Cat! series.
Great vids as always 👌

Hey Ruff , A request please make a video on "How to find your true passion? Or What you really want to do in your life?" Please 🥺 Ruff..❣️

This guy feels me
I am a medical student and I feel like I am studying for someone else dream. My grandfather wanted my mom to be a doctor but after his death, my mom quit studying and started doing a job. now she wants me to be a doctor. you know what I study really hard i push myself to the extra mile but I am not happy. now I am seriously tired. Every time I start studying I only question myself am I on the right path? I know that this is not my passion this is not what I wanna be and now I am so afraid of my future. I even have a chance to change it now but i am afraid to again shatter all dreams of my mom in front of me. For 16 year old me growing up sure is painful
Bro I'm an engineering student and got into that just because my father always says how no one guided him into the right path and financially supported him so he ended up being a businessman
And yeah I'm also 16 and can study science and maths but I dunno why literature attracts me
Its really very hard to face my parents sometimes especially when they ask *Are you able to do everything* and I say *yes everything's fine* but my mind's screaming *No I don't wanna do this anymore*
hi, I wanted to ask if you had any book recommandations? bc I kinda want to look even deeper into these whole things :) and thanks for the encouragement and motivation! ( Your videos kind of brought me back on the right path...)
I loveyou ruff you're now my therapist
but how do you find a passion? There’s so many things I sort of enjoy… but nothing jumps out at me. I’m 15 and I’m doing well, but I don’t know what I’m going to do in the future or have any super strong passion. Any tips?

HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
what do you think about the book "so good they can't ignore you" by cal newport. i don't really remember much the content of the book, but i remember that it says to not follow your passion. it says to be good at something that is rare and valuable and like, so good they can't ignore you. by beeing so good at that thing, you could have the freedom, the control, and the fulfilment in work that you do. as someone who doesn't have any passion whatsoever, i generally agree with what he's saying in the book. but, as you said in your video, you've tried so many things and film making seems to be the one that clicked to you, something that you enjoy doing. i believe you should pursue that, or at least try to. by pursuing what you believe to be your passion, at least you won't have the burden of not trying what you believe you should do.
wow i can relate. I also lost my molar tooth this year.
Omg omg omgomg yesssssssssss 🥚

Hi Ruff. Where are you from? Your English is so good.

What if you dont have anything you like? because at times youre interested in literally everything and the others, youre into nothing?
idk if its just me but i dont have anything specific that i "like" or any "passion" as such lol
I turned 18 like last week lol
I'm still in school tho cause some shit happened while I was growing up and I didn't get placed into school until a year too late
The same problem. and I failed a year due to some silly issues 😔
I like the passion path but continuously im told and reminded of the "craftsman's mindset", find something (not your passion but something that'll give you financiall security ikik) and work towards it with all your energy, which will make you like that something cause you're devoting all your energy and time into it, which in return will make you spent even more time in it and like it even more
There are quite some flaws with this, but... No one's perfect
:[ Opinion: this just makes me confused
thats kinda gaslighting urself… thats like if u got married to a random person and just said “I MEAN IF WE’RE TOGETHER FOR LONG ENOUGH ILL GET TO LIKE HER EVENTUALLY RIGHT” i mean yeah its possible but theres got to be some logical foundation behind the choice.
@@ItsMeRuff As an Indian, that's fine 💀
And the logic behind the craftsman's mindset is money, cause money gets you freedom to do things you want. Ofcourse time is not being highlighted here
i think that could be true if you enjoy some aspects like for example if youre an attourney and you enjoy helping ppl out or something, but true fullfillment and drive comes from looking deep within and doing what you want. that drive makes you wake up everyday to achieve your dream passions. vs this mindset that forces you to grind so you can get money or smth like that. you could grow to love what you do, ofc thats possible, but isnt it much more amazing to find what you love and be able to grow from that?
@@eel7157but why do you wait and work for the money to do what you want to do if you could just do it rght now? the only thing to do is to START :)

1. Do I always do this mistake of connecting every whichever person to my bestfriend's older/future version because you bahaves 90% of time like my bestfriend and our english teacher also have the same way of taking and thoughts like her like the talking behaviour and way of behaving+ same energy level or or or every experienced (in a action way like when take or do many things you get more and more experience, right ) person / smart person talks this way and behaves this way and have these types of thoughts ?
