- A short video showing a way to make small, lightweight, and inexpensive folding saws. Components used are sawzall blades, shim stock, chicago or machine screws, and kydex scraps. Great for your toolbag , EDC, backpack, or bugout bag.
Hi Brad, this is an outstanding presentation. A really good idea well presented. Thank you so much for sharing. Best wishes as ever. Nigel.
Glad you liked it Nigel. Thanks for watching !
Sweet! I don't think I would want to hack through a B post with it but I bet it's awesome in the field! Great video.
It would be a workout LOL. Thanks for watching !
Good job! Thumbs up from Ireland! :)
Thanks for watching !
Just the video I was looking for 👌
Thanks for watching !
If you put the right blade in it, it'll do as good a job as the Silky saws and a lot cheaper.
Thanks for watching !
Is there any way to lock it open? Especially when it gets stuck in wood (binding)
You could use a metal sleeve to accomplish that if desired similar to an opinel knife. It would slide of course. Thanks for watching !
Cool ! You should sell these ! !
I could - these are all protoypes. Now that I have the dimensions down I could punch them out pretty quick. Thanks for watching !
Hello, SurvComms, thanks for the video! I am serious about buying one, maybe two. What is your price. Would be happy to buy it. Thanks!
I haven't ever sold any before - They are pretty easy to DIY. You aren't the first person to inquire either. Perhaps if I get some time. Thanks for watching !
@@survivalcomms I appreciate it any way. Thanks so much for the video! :)
@@johnmacias9487 You are welcome !
If that blade is carbide, guaranteed it would outperform your Laplander
Thanks for watching !
Are these for sale?
