God this is soooo good! Pleased to have had this in my life for the past 33 years or so. This album hooked me into their music forever.... thanks for sharing.
We had just finished Surfing all day in the O.C...it was getting chilly and we started a bonfire..and sat in the night air..my buddy cranked up the Boombox and this was the first jam we heard on a garbled AM radio station!!! 💖
this is my favorite piece of music that is not classical music of all time... not sure why its such an incredible evocation of emergence of structure out of chaos...
Siempre me ha cautivado el sonido hipnótico de T.D. Música de las esferas, una dentro de la otra. Cada teclado y sampler interpreta su melodía, donde produce un efecto sinérgico y del conjunto de melodías surge un mayor.
one of the best part of the title force majeur (after the old vapor train as pass...part 2) really one of their best tune I believe. Can put you in a trance, without any other substance help, and I really like this old analog sounds and string machines better then most of the new cold without life. And this theme is wonderful with peace, its lightning us, video fits very well. thanks
I was so sceptic about Force Majeure album. I thought that nothing could be better than Phaedra or Rubycon. But now this track is the best music I have ever heard. It is so good at some points that it is almost painful.
The atmospheric EBM/Industrial artist "Forma Tadre" created his name by combining the first few letters of each word in this song title, and band name.
A lot of purists don't like this album, but I can't for the life of me understand why. No, it's not Phaedra, but it's still incredibly beautiful music in it's own right, and shows that Edgar and Chris had awesome magic during this period.
Sounds nothing at all like actual medieval music. There seems to be some influence from the Romantic era, though, and a little bit from Classical & Baroque periods. But mostly from a more modern period.
This has the style of Tangerine Dream, but not the substance. It starts out like a lot of TD, but I started questioning the track beginning with the progression at 3:44, but at 5:54, we clearly hit the ridiculous point of no return. If you use music like this in an ironic scene in a dystopian film, OK, but on its own, it borders on self-parody. I'll stick with Phaedra, Zeit, Ricochet and Stratosfear - even Cyclone, but not this. This screams of the loathsome New Age music that had yet to come.
Wonderful track. Sends shivers up the back. In a good way.
I drove into a pond listening to this!!!
Love it so much one of there best. Love tangram and Poland too 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Bought this when it first came out on vinyl. Still have copy. Fantastic track :)
Ditto Peter....
Everything flows so easily in this tune, and those chords starting on 3:42...they just touch my heart, genius music!
That part always gives me goosebumps. Love it.
This is one of my favorite TD albums... This, "Poland", and "LIve Miles" are for me TD at their all-time very best!
Agree! Livemiles is brilliantly composed and gets unfairly maligned.
ONLY WORD.......A M A Z I N G !!!!!
the old musique of tangerine dream is the best!
it continues being one of the best electronic songs

Whole Force Majeure album is magic. Every single note of it :p
Not heard this before, it really is great.

Always traveling forward.
lo tengo questo lp, è favoloso. Davvero ben fatto, con un sound molto spaziale!
Allucinante
Wonderful electronic music...
Wonderful graphics by the way. Really suit the music well... Thanks for sharing!
This must have sounded quite futuristic in 1979.
Check A Clockwork Orange soundtrack :)
Superb.

Świetnie kończy się ten utworek!
@luk0dab 5:54 is also quite a mood change, lol! Love that piece and 'thru metamorphic rocks'. Classics.

You need no drugs with Tangerine Dream :-)
As per your comment on the description, this is actualy the title track "Force Majeure",& what a wonderful track it is...Thanks for posting!

wow this takes me back. i used to have this album on clear vinal in about 1979. Music had tunes then not just talentless idiots "rapping"

otherworldly

@default1976 Makes the hair go up on my neck and arms even after all this time

Are they really? Seems like a pretty obscure connection. Though I'm not familiar with that particular work
pink floydish perhaps
....you try to tell people how woderfull this album is,but they just don't understand....
This is good but not close to Ricochet part 2
sounds pretty depressing
