Just wow. I saw them on this tour (they didn't play this track as far as I can recall) but 33 years later the change at 2:35 still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up to this day, Just wow.
GTA 4 had the best atmosphere out of any of the GTA games. Like damn... The journey was something special. Something so deep about driving round Liberty City at night in the rain, hearing an Paramedic trying to save a wounded pedestrian saying "Don't you die on me! Come on!". The rain beating down on the car and the street, the thunder clapping now and then with the flash of the lighning iluminating everything in sight. It's music like this that really made me connect with Liberty City and Niko and the storyline and everything. In an odd way it kinda made me feel like I wanted to visit GTA 4's version of Liberty City.
Day'um! I wish I had a radio station around here that played music like this. When I lost my beloved online game to closure hearing this beautiful music helped get me through the withdrawal that lasted for several years.
This song makes me think of the xfiles and space and aliens but at the same time it makes me think of driving through small deserted areas and deserted towns at 3 am in a car with the feeling of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, like something is chasing me or hunting me. idk why but i still absolutely love this song.
High school, weed, Exit, and eyelid kaleidoscope shows. Some of the coolest trips I've ever had. It's amazing what you can get out of a simple plant and some music.
Had no idea this was in GTA4. I must have listened to this song 1000+ times in the early 90s. Wouldn't have guessed they'd pick this one out of their whole catalogue, as it's really kind of on the obscure side. Do a youtube search for TD and see how long it takes for it (or better yet the other songs from Exit, which are just as good) to come up. I literally would have shit myself if I heard it while playing the game but I didn't have such luck :(
Let me word it in a different way... It makes me think about the actual size of the universe, and the fact that this is not the only planet in the entire universe with intelligent life on it. We are just small specks on a large screen. Hey, I said the song was good, leave me alone.
Got this album in the early 80's. I love this - esp. from 2:20. I imagined flying an F-16 low ever a desert on a suicide mission...(though I never actually did).
Most people in Germany say it´s "Kiffer-music". A kiffer is a person who takes joints. That´s not true. The people I know, dont´t need a joint to listen to that awesome electronic music.
Oh stop bickering, gentlemen. This is simply a great electronic song by which to smoke a FUCKING JOINT and chill the FUCK out. I'm going to smoke a joint now....
@starwarsguy9 Listen to it again WITH drugs, and you'll understand. They aren't needed, they simply enhance the experience. I've done both and after smoking some ganja this song puts you on a space cruise! Just stay away from synthetics... Most synthetic drugs can ruin you.
@schmittwilli hell I love eletronic techno music like this and I've never smoked a join in my life. Dont need to get high on drugs if ur high on life and/or music :D
Now that I've had half my joint....what are those planets/stars in the video. One seems to be moving upwards while 3 seem to be moving downwards. Is Venus among them? The North Star?
why am i so late and why yall always so early freakin 7 years omg thats long i was like 4 but im 13 now its i wish i lived to see them in the 80s sad face sad face ahhhhhhhhhh
This song reminds me of my childhood, because one the games i grew up playing was GTA 4 and i would hear this song on the radio lol
Just wow. I saw them on this tour (they didn't play this track as far as I can recall) but 33 years later the change at 2:35 still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up to this day, Just wow.
This song gives me goosebumps. Such an amazing song!

I recently completed gta 4 and I've played gta 5 before, but still I'm addicted to this game and Niko for some reasons, and these musics ❤

This song is relaxing & chill. It also reminds me of night time.

This song is the perfect capstone to "EXIT." Great album.
One of the most meditative musical pieces.
Gosh! What a beautiful song!
Brilliantly simple video to this TD classic.
It matches the dark feeling in the music perfectly!
More of the same, please!

2:13 is the real start!
this song is good for when im in the car, early in the morning before sunrise, on a long trip with rain.
Respect to those who enjoy this without drugs, why are they needed? Music is my drug.
despite being a group for four decades, tangerine dream's discography consists of nothing but 80s music
surreal
but relaxing
This is fantastic!! This has to be composed by Chris Franke. Love TD.

That music seems to me a virtual construction of a large kind of monument laike the piramides in Tikal or in Egipt.
Sounds like something that would fit Uplink very well.
This is the soundtrack to Risky Business ...the part where Rebecca de Hotty comes in , and asks Tom "are you ready for me" ?
Most people in Germany say it´s "Kiffer-music".
