If you can do 1-5 strict pull-ups minimum then you can do kipping pull-ups, and the same applies for kipping pull-ups to butterfly pull-ups. Now, when it comes to conditioning each movement, you want to be able to do at about 30 reps unbroken before trying to master the next progression.
