I ordered some and got them by accident as I didn’t check the size . I wasn’t to happy until I swapped a tooned and then I got over it 😂 But that’s why I love customizing . I get to see what others like to do as well . Cause I’m only one opinion . I’ll do an updated video and show them how to sand the bottoms and get lower as well . Cheers bro 🍻

You can just pour the nail polish remover directly to the back of the card with generous amount of it, I always do it and it never fails nor makes sticked card on blister

Something i learned was that once you drill with the 1/8, you can use a flat head screwdriver to bend the left over metal. Also, make sure you know that that wheels fit first. Some Diecast models from Matchbox might be too “Skinny” and the wheels will stick out more. Some Hot Wheels like the Corvette C7 will have bigger wheels in the rear, making the fitment look off. And some hot wheels like a Porsche GT3 RS will have a wider rear base, making the rear axel too short, but can be fixed by chipping away at the car’s plastic base. A metal base might be hard tho

I build my own axles and each wheel is done separately to match each fender . @@elfamoso_juan For sure bro , if you can , try and get yourself a little sanding kit . Like a variety pack of metal sanding tools . They are small spear shaped sanding tools with different shapes , flat , round , curved etc. . But these can be really helpful for sanding down things like metal wheels ports and other finicky spots . Also if you have a dremmel with the metal bits this can also work for certain situations . It’s nice to have these things when customizing . Check out the website that I’ve always used ( no association with them ) as they have full lists of tools that can be used . @@shawnblack ok 👍 So you have a few options . Easiest is to use sticky tack and smush it back , this also allows you to open the car back up if you wanna change anything . Second way is to glue it back together with some super glue , this is permanent unless you drill again . Third way is to drill them out nice from the beginning , then add a metal softener and force an M2 screw into the column . This will make a thread similar to a tap and die tool . Then you can screw the car back together and open it up again . Hope this helps 😎
@@johndypot I personally haven’t done this , though I do know the technique and process . I don’t have a few little things and I haven’t ordered it yet as what I do is working for now lol . But you use metal softener and the M2 size screws. Then you force the screw into the pillar after softener , it should tap and die the pillar with the screw making it able to screw back and forth . Soldering gun on the rivet. Plastic eventually heats up and pops off the rivit. Then it pops back on after a little shaving around the plastic hole. Almost undetectable if you take your time.
I leared with my first wheel awap on a miata hotwheel that i can just pop it off without breaking those tabs, i just bashed the plastic part of a screwdriver to get the custom rim in.
@@VictorTheDrifter In the beginning I was doing all sort of ways , I would say now I do the system I showed in one of my videos where I do each wheel individually to make sure they fit my fenders while I’m building the cars . So if I’m still shaping my fenders I wait until I’m done and then I use the car as reference to make sure my wheels are all landing perfectly on my custom fender ( or at least close to perfect 😂)

Acrylic is perfect 👍 it is used in different forms like brush , paint pens or say airbrushing . They all use acrylic .
