Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the only people to get you to admit to hating a character with Down Syndrome
Wait till you see how Classi handles Nathan.
@@lukerosales5879 shut up classy
@@lukerosales5879i loved that part 😂
_"Shut up Classeeeeey"_
@@lukerosales5879 "I ain't no Mimsy-ass ho!"
The template for this episode was a spoof on the reality tv show "Intervention" that was very popular at the time. Makes sense since they give Towelie an actual intervention.
I saw the episode lol the person does say the line I’m walking on sunshine lmao
@@chrisroney4948 yeah it was sad seeing that chick like that.
I do like how they did the reality TV spoof here a lot more than how they did it in "I should have never gone Ziplining" which was a spoof on "I shouldn't be alive".
The children are acting so seriously but it's about a drug addict sentient towel and that's just hilarious.
Last I seen, the girl from the sunshine episode turned her life around and was doing really well.
The red-haired kid looked like Droopy. That is the cartoon dog you were reminded of.
So messed up lol
“Here, take this. On second thought, Mimsy, I think *I* better do the most important part of the plan.“ - How Nathan could’ve won
Thank you, captain hindsight!
I had to check! Mimsey. That's Rocksey and Bugsy. Bugs Bunny did some of the most evil things to a giant and midget gangster.
Lake Titicaca is a real place in The Andes Mountains between Bolivia and Peru. Also the show you are thinking about which this episode parodied for Towelie's story is "Intervention".
At the end of the episode they document Towelie as being sober since April 26th, 2010. The episode aired on April 28th.
LOL 2 days sober
@@DisfunktionalTV I like your videos =D
He maintained sobriety for several years until the player character in The Fractured But Whole made him relapse to win a boss fight.
Trey and Matt are the only people that can show us that special people are just as human as the rest of us. They can be as good and as mean
Exactly I’m just happy they are at least showcasing those types of people in a fair way unlike other shows and movies.
@DisfunktionalTV the cutaways with the words and the music thing behind it they keep showing throughout the episode are from the show "Intervention" which is a show on A&E about drug addicts and trying to get them treatment, basically the whole Towelie part of this episode.
10:07 : having known someone in my familly who gradually lost the use of its legs because of illness, people with such disease totally DO have business in water as long as they are watched. Walking is so hard for the legs because of the weight. But legs only have to make movements in water, not support any major weight. That person in my familly felt in paradise when in a pool, which help both her phsycial and mental health a lot.
Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Good point but I think he was talking about surfing, ehich would require some decent legs for balance and recovery.
Also, it's harder to tread water in the sea than in a pool.
@@samhilton4173 i'm pretty sure that's not true, if surf maybe but open water no, the salt in the sea makes you more buoyant.
That explains why sloths can swim so well despite being absolute klutzes on the ground.
My man you should start watching the series in order and have a list of the ones you seen already, it’s really cool to see how the show has evolved as it goes on, and it’s fun guessing what was going on in the world at the time that the episode was made and what it’s based off of.
Agreed
Agree +3
100% agreed
Really cool idea

"When he's dealing with Shrek over here" 😂😂😂 I'm DEAD
I would really love to see a new South Park episode in the future in which the handicapped kids are working in a fast food restaurant (possibly based on 10 year olds found working at McDonald’s in Kentucky), with the kids playing the role of SpongeBob characters. Jimmy obviously playing the role of SpongeBob, Nathan playing the role of Squidward while Mimsy is Patrick. And the villain in this episode might as well be Mr. Hankey’s EVIL cousin, Mr. Hankton - a cyclops-eyed piece of poo.
Jimmy getting the notes wrong on the Ukelele is in reference to Loony Toons (along with some of the crippled characters) when the characters play the notes of the song "Believe Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms" on a booby trapped instrument. Usually, they get the notes wrong, but then someone gets it right and blows up. The first instance of this was in their WWII cartoons: Private Snafu when it was teaching soldiers to watch out for booby traps.
You are indeed seeing human versions of Looney Toon characters.
But yeah, hilarious episode. Not sure what ismore funnier, Nate having everything backfiring on him or the boys getting Towlie an intervention.
Did you just call Mimzy, "Shrek"? Bro, I'm dead 😂😂😂
yea the disabled kids all represent different looney tunes characters 💀it's awful but that's South Park LMFAO
also im pretty sure the whole structure of this episode with the interviews and text screens, is all a reference to a show called Intervention. pretty sure there was a woman on there that actually inhaled computer duster and threw out that "im walkin on sunshine" line, heard she's doing great nowadays though
Just an fyi: Lake Titicaca is a real lake, not a made up name in Beavis and Butthead. They just say it a lot for obvious reasons because that's the kind of immature thing kids do when they learn that lake's name.
The Tardicaca stuff is all one big Looney Toons reference.
I remember seeing those two in a couple of episodes only to realize that Nathan and Mimzy are a parody of Rocky and Mugsy from Looney Tunes with Bugs Bunny
Intervention is the show they are modeling
Also the scene with towlie in the car saying “I’m walking on sunshine” is a popular phrase from a tweaker on an episode
The guy you were describing that was in T.M.I at 4:14 his name was Wayne D
This episode never stops being funny! I've seen it multiple times and it always makes me laugh so hard😂
The fact that you call Mimsy SHREK- XD
Mae Young giving birth to a hand was hilarious! 😂
Butters made me so sick this episode 😂😂😂 he put on a show with all that crying and then I lost it when he pulled washcloth out of his pocket 😂
Butters wasn’t faking! He showed genuine concern for Towelie, and was only trying to help. The only person I was most angry at was Cartman. He made that entire rant about Jewish people and didn’t even bother attempting to solve the situation. He just made it worse!
Robin Williams once said "If you need drugs to enjoy your life, then you're doing it wrong "
Not an inspiring quote from a man who famously hid his own misery from the world and eventually killed himself because of it. RIP to one of the greatest.
@@kevinb5417we all make mistakes man, it’s just whatever we do that speaks more then words
@@kevinb5417and he was an alcoholic
@@phukyu1402To be fair, he grew up at a time when alcohol was cool and pot wasn’t, whereas nowadays it’s starting to swing the other direction, so there’s also that.
Then he off himself 😂😂😂
The text cutaway scene is making fun of basically every intervention or other genre documentaries that do that since this a documentary style episode. But maybe there's a specific one they referencing that originated the text cutaway.
Its from a show literally titled Intervention
@@victore8342 thats funny
Droopy. The dog you're thinking of. They're all based off old carton bits. Like *old.*
Someone probably has the references for all. One dude was obviously Elmer Fudd.
The show they are referencing so frequently is "intervention" and then they directly referenced it in the intervention itself.
Yo! Did you ever see the episode of "Intervention" where the girl was addicted to air duster? Look it up. The "Walking on sunshine" quote comes from that. She's healthy now, thank God!
1:47 Lake Titicaca is a real lake in South America on the Bolivia-Peru border.
Based off the show intervention on A&E!
I highly recommend I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining (Season 16 Episode 6), it makes fun of documentaries too
@DisfunktionalTV
Love your reactions man. You have the most genuine reactions when you see these south parks and it’s hilarious. Please react to “Gnomes”, that’s the South Park that explains Tweek better
And nah man back when this episode aired the air duster cans were like 1.00 a piece, now since a lot of people use them and die, they now increased the price, and some companies add a bitterant to the cans to deter use
16:43 HIS LAUGH 😂
Other episodes I think you'd find entertaining is
If you like documentary based episodes there is I should have never gone Ziplining.
Some other good ones are
Creme Fraiche (Good Randy Episode)
Sarcastiball (Good Randy Episode)
and of course Raisins (It's a good Butters and Stan based episode.)
You're Not Yelping (in my opinion both hilarious and a little gross)
Dances with Smurfs (A good Wendy/Cartman episode)
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE haha. Love your reactions, brother.
Even the wrong note in the ukulele solo was taken from a loony tunes episode. I think it was a piano in the Loony tunes. Cant remember which characters did it.
I was lame enough to Google Lake Tardicaca when this episode came out. ;-)
Now I realized why that disabled kids camp is called "Lake Tardicaca" instead of "Lake Tidicaca"and I disassociate myself😂😂😂
It was elmer fudd and droopy from looney toons. Welcome back homie lol.
This season produced so many great episodes
I just watched this episode 4 days ago. 😂
Love your reactions!
Does anyone know the name for the guitar strum used in every scene transition? It has been bugging me for years because it is so familiar and its on the tip of my tongue. Its from some show or movie but I haven't been able to guess it for the life of me.
At 13:31 you see Towelie thinking about what Cartman said 😂😂😂
Someone needs to write a crossover spin-off featuring the shenanigans of Towelie and Tyrone Biggums!
You should watch “Canada on Strike”
Super topical rn with the writers strike.
9:56 First time I got high, I said exactly that.
You're thinking of Droopy Dog😂
The text cuts are from a show called intervention pretty much the same they did but seriously lol 😂

Truly one of the greatest episodes, great reaction
I love Nathan, he’s hilarious! I love that they made a young boy with down syndrome like some kind of mob boss with a stupid henchman.
Please watch the season 2 episode “Merry Christmas Charlie Manson!”
It’s one of those that’s so messed up it’s hilarious! 😂
Yeah it’s a spoof on Looney Tunes and a show called intervention
The guy who Nathan reminds you of was in the T.M.I episode.
Diff acronyms haha thanks One!
Computer duster does get you high, and when I’ve seen people do it, it’s almost like they go into a coma.
What Nathan and Mimsy were talking about in the beginning of this episode. About the blue team beating the red team for three years at camp. Is that why Nathan tried to sabotage the HandiCar charity business before?
If you're ever looking for another Jimmy centric episode, "Sponsored Content" season 19 episode 8 shows some of Jimmy's malicious compliance side.
The ghetto white kid was from TMI, WTF was the wrestling episode
Pretty sure the song was in Looney Toones. I forget but it may have been an exploding piano. So long ago.
Yeah all the main disabled campers besides Timmy, Jimmy, Nathan, and Mimsy were plays on looney tunes characters, great catch
God i love this one, all the crippled charecters are baced on loony toons charecters 😂
Fuck yea! One of my favorite episodes!! Towelie ftw!
Mimmsy is awesome he’s one of my favorite characters in South Park he needs to be in more episodes when he blows the whistle is one of my favorite scenes in the history of South Park anytime I’m having a bad day I always watch that to laugh
This is one of my all time favorites.
8:57 this made me laugh so hard for some reason
yup, its looney toonzz
Trey and Matt didn’t use real water when making this episode.
watch fatbeard, cartman becomes a somalian pirate
Nice man. Gotta do A Million Little Fibers next and you’ve got all the main Towelie entries. Rad shirt, also.
Nkt that my opinion matters but that episode sucks it was just straight up unfunny
@@Crab_People fair enough but I think it’s the funniest Towelie episode.
@@TheAbominableDrFaustus yea i like towlies part of the episode but the oprah part i hated i do hope he reacts to it tho
@@Crab_People I thought it was kind of funny because of the million little pieces guy but I get that. I think the only reason I like that one more than crippled summer is that the intervention sound bit wears thin pretty quick.
@@Crab_People speaking of crab people has he seen South Park is Gay? That’s one I can’t remember on the channel but should have been recommended by now.
Looney toons trey and Matt have no chill at all😂😂😂
Yo I always hit that like buh-en 👍. Do the goth kids trilogy (Raisins, ungroundable & Goth kids 3 dawn of the posers)
The play on words with Tard I caca is amazing🤣
That song is from the movie Meatballs.
Love my man!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Awesome as always
Droopy dog and Elmer fudd
Yeah those kids are supposed to be Looney Tunes characters
You have to do thé épisode The Losing Edge it’s a Randy based episode and it’s hilarious keep up the South Park reactions gang
You gotta check out handicar (wacky races) episode nathan and mimsy try to sabotage timmy and Nathan mentions the shark
15:02 You can say the F word but you can't say "kill?"
17:21 NOW you can say it?
It’s from the show “intervention”
They did this episode like an episode from Intervention.
Love and appreciate that you love and appreciate South Park 😂👍
"Shut up Mimzyyy!"
Some cliche of a couple of 30s gangsters lol, some 3 Stooges shit lol
Not the shark! 😦
You are my go-to guy
For Southpark reaction, great job
They’re spoofing the movie Meatballs complete with using the same intro song when the kids go to the summer camp just like in the movie.
The episode is based on "Intervention."
Mae Young giving birth to The Hand 😂😂😂😂
3:35 You mean Droopy 😎
The real question here is who is worse Nathan or cartman? I mean you're not gonna convince me there's no debate Nathan and cartman are two piece and a f***** u* pod
The camp and song reference is from the movie Meatballs(1978). Very vulgar but very funny. They made a few and you need to react to them.
Nathan's favorite band is uh, Nine Inch Nailed
Air duster gets you really high.
6:25 SHREK 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Another BANGER reaction to a BANGER episode from Disfunktional!
7:33 THEY TURK OUR JURBS!
