I started recording this video 23 and a half minutes earlier, but had no choice but to edit it and only show Amtrak 717. There was a Southbound BNSF Z-Train that was passing through the station earlier, then stops for Amtrak 717 to pull into the station, then gets the clear signal to go. Unfortunately, there were interruptions during my video caused by several rude people so i had to edit that out. I also apologize for the abrupt ending of my video as i had to edit out another rude person. After the Amtrak train passed, some asshole in the passenger seat of the red car gave me the middle finger thinking i was recording him. What a lovely birthday present i got huh? As a result of the shit that happened here that day (on my birthday of all days), i will never railfan in Merced again. Madera is a lot better to railfan although it's in the middle of nowhere. On the contrary, i was able to get redemption and i successfully recorded the same BNSF Southbound Z-Train again in Madera, CA. That train will be in my next video.
In addition, Amtrak 717 was running about 35 Minutes Late.
