    Copper Washer rings are super easy. Made a ton in the past. They can get a box in the USA at harbor freight

    Very nice! Love the washers, so primitive looking in their round flat shape especially hammered. Thank you!

    If you don’t mind me asking what do you use to keep your copper from turning ?

    • @bambie7376
      @bambie7376 Рік тому

      She doesnt, she oxidizes it with liver of sulphur. If you want it shiny you just polish it as needed just like you do with sterling silver.

      I darken it on purpose to get an antique look, it is really hard to keep it the natural shiny bright color, you'd have to clean it often

    Has anyone experienced the copper rubbing off on tools like mandrel and tiny little shards of copper coming off their copper washer when hammering, wondering if I got fake copper washer from Amazon?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  3 місяці тому

      when it comes off is there something left underneath, like the washer turns a different color? Maybe it is painted to be a copper color and the paint is coming off?

      @@OxanaCrafts Hi thank you for your reply. Kinda of looks a little like silver but only in the spots where my pliers left a mark. I broke it in half and it was copper colored all the way through, so I don't know for sure still. I have used a different brand of copper washer from amazon and those did not rub any color onto my tools. Any thoughts, tips?
